I had a really terrible experience here. The nail technician, Louis, did a French tip. I made a comment that they needed a fix. The manager, gray hair (her name is Avah I believe), went over and gave him criticism. She said they looked bad. Louis said to me, "I picked you to do french tip for the first time because you look nice and like someone who wouldnt complain". Thats really awful to tell someone and guilt trip me to not speaking up more. When i went to the front Avah charged me $60. Why am I paying $60 when the manager agreed that the nails looked bad. I asked to come back the next day to get them fixed. Avah said to me, "They don't look too bad. It's because your fingers are crooked". That's a manipulative thing to say. I showed back up the next day. I was a few minutes early waiting outside. I say to Avah (gray hair, store manager) "Good morning. I would like to talk about the service yesterday" she said "Why you come so early!?" in an annoyed tone. The people at this salon completely degraded me. I asked the store manager to speak to the owner. She refused to give me her number. I said if this isn't fixed, I'll be writing a review. Avah (gray hair store manager) said, "I don't care. Go write your review. I can't help you". I am looking for the owner of this establishment. By the way, I am tri lingual and could understand the comments made by your workers. It is absolutely disgrace for them to gossip and say such horrendous things about paying customers in another language! I have worked in service before, this is NOT how you treat people.Service: Manicure

I used to frequently come to this salon during the tenure of the previous owner, Mae. Under Mae’s ownership and management, the service was exceptional, and she always exhibited a highly friendly and professional demeanor. However, upon my recent visit for a haircut, I encountered a new owner and a hairstylist who displayed a marked lack of courtesy and professionalism. The hairstylist repeatedly yelled at us, stating, "I'm busy now!! I'm busy now!!," and declined to provide me with a haircut in front of other clients. Despite the fact that there were only three customers ahead of us, the hairstylist demonstrated laziness and a distinct lack of professionalism. Regrettably, I no longer plan to patronize this establishment and intend to file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau.If your salon is unable to accommodate atleast three customers, it would be advisable to either refrain from offering haircut services or consider discontinuing the haircut section altogether. It is essential to respect the fact that individuals have gone out of their way to visit your salon and have made a concerted effort to support your business. Continuously requesting them to return at a later time will not be sustainable in the long run and is considered unacceptable.I do NOT recommend this salon, if you don’t want to waste your time, don’t come thereService: Haircut

I recently relocated to San Lorenzo and stressed over finding beauty services after using the same hairdresser, nail salon, facial place and massage spa for 10+ yrs. Well with alot of luck and blessings I actually found that special place- SM Hair and Nail Spa!! I went into this place late Friday afternoon w/o an appt (I normally always make appts) They welcomed me and treated me well! I got a mani/pedi, hair washed/conditioned and a waxing- I'm so grateful to have found Julie? and the other girls! Oh and girls go check out Long- he will take care of you? My dtg-in-law and son enjoyed a mani/pedi by the girls and her finger nails look really beautiful! The place is nice, clean with very decent pricing, the staff are welcoming ,friendly and do a great job! I walked in Sat June 18th at 3ish pm. Both ladies were doing pedicures but acknowledge me right away. Said I needed a hair cut and one got up quickly and attended to me. Hair was done in 15 minutes... love the cut. Went to pay and the credit card machine was down so she actually let me leave to get cash! Of course I went back with payment and a tip. I will definitely be going back! Just sad I haven't tried this place before!!!

went in for a haircut, had a fairly recent picture of myself with a style that had since grown out. my hair came out completely different than the pic, though she insisted it was the same. probably won't be coming back
