I have been a client for a couple of years. Over the last 12 months I have been unable to get the firm to respond to my emails and phone calls. I manage to get a connection in about 1 out of ten attempts to speak with them, even in the off-tax season
My assigned accountant, Mason, has not spoken to me in about a year, though the agency has assured me that he is still with them
I have received messages from the IRS that some returns were not filed, as indicated by BayWide, and have yet to get someone there to return my calls and answer inquiries.
At this point, I am also concerned about the quality of the tax advice I was given as well.
I am hopeful this review will provoke some response from the firm and I am now actively looking for another agency

Due to moving around several times in one year, I lost important documents needed to file taxes on my own. I let John know this prior to meeting up for him to file my taxes. He said that he got all of the information he needed from the IRS and that I didn't need to come back in. After several ignored calls for months on end asking about the status of my return, I finally figured out how to log into the IRS website myself to check. And it turns out he did nothing. Communicating that he did not want to file my taxes back in March when I started this whole process would have been nice.. Now I am overdue on filing this year, despite trusting that he would file them as he said. So many times I have called and they said they will call me back on Monday, only to never hear from them again. I am disgusted with the complete lack of communication and professionalism from this company.

Been using them for years and they have dropped the ball 3 times my dad filed his taxes and its been about two months and we had to call the irs to see what was going on and come to find out THEY WERE NEVER FILED! That is truly unacceptable. I also still have not received my erc refund that i filed over a year ago! Now they dont answer emails or calls im so upset that i sent my dad here now we have to figure this out. Dont go here Jonathan messed up big time Mason messed me up in the past and this is shady!

Jonathan provided me with unsubstantiated statements associated with large tax payments over multiple years, then furnished no proof. When pressed, he ultimately suggested we call IRS together for clarity. On date of arranged call, John Greff could not be reached and remained unavailable throughout the week. He later offered a perfunctory apology due to busyness and proceeded to personally insult me with name calling when I sought to hold him accountable for his commitments to call IRS together (a job that felt like his in the first place). I had been referred to this firm by my former financial advisor who warned it was far better in the past under his previous tax preparer. I now understand vividly why he offered this caution. When it comes to taxes and large portions of your income, I would not defer to Jonathan Greff or his group on account of their hasty dealings, unfaithfulness to commitments and unprofessional communication practices.

We were in a bind. I found out at the last minute my regular tax preparer was hospitalized. I had just a few days to find another tax service. Fortunately, Baywide Tax Service offered me an appt. at 11am on Saturday. My wife and I met with Samantha. We were very pleased by her very pleasant personality and most of all her expertise and professionalism. We highly recommend Samantha!

When Janice Buflin retired I was a little apprehensive about how Baywide would handle my taxes . After more than 40 years with Janice. My fears disappeared after my first appointment with Samantha a few years back . She makes me feel very comfortable and the process was and is enjoyable. I would recommend this business to anyone who needs an easy no worry tax preparation. Also feel the fee is very reasonable.

John is an extremely competent professional. You walk in and all your work is completed in about 30 minutes, filed, and a hard copy printed for your record. I even had a good refund this year (unheard of in the past so many years). This is because John is knowledgeable about tax codes, pracitices, etc. I had issues with a 2017 filing where the IRS was charging me taxes I did not owe. Most tax consultants did not know how to address it. Enter John to the rescue. He was able to get the IRS on the phone within a few minutes. Not only did he file amended tax returns for the past 2-3 years but he was able to file tax papers asking for a refund for all these years that the IRS had taken money. Additionally, every time I got a notice from the IRS, John promptly filed the required paper work. I am extremely pleased with the service provided by Baywide Tax. I highly recommend John for all your tax needs. A++++++++++++++++++++++++++

I have been supporting John the owner of Bay wide tax since 2010, not sure why why the whole office including him acting so rude and unprofessional. It's sad to see people when they come up , forgot about the people that supported him in the first place!!! Iast year he made a mistake in my tax return cause he was so busy !! Cost me 1000 dollars , this year I emailed him all my paperwork last Wednesday. Until now he has not returned my calls or filled my taxes !!! Wasted my time for a week and now I have to find someone else to file my taxes. People save yourself trouble and go somewhere else this guys are rude and dont know-how to file taxes.If they let me give minus - 5 stars for costing me a $1000 last year and wasting my time this year without filling !!!! They will loose a lot of business if they keep messing up people's taxes and treating people this way.
Here is the updates from John's: he just called me minutes ago and he was being so sarcastic saying : "please don't leave me , I need you money!!! Being very disrespectful and childish, then he called me names and using very bad words !!! So unprofessional and childish!! What kinda of person does that ???? Whoever Is reading my review , please go support someone else, he doesn't deserve it and he acting like he' doesn't need the money.
