I've used this service a couple of times. I found the process to be fast if there are not that many people complicating the process itself. You just need to have all your information ready to either send or receive money. They are not the type to make exceptions for security reasons.

Second or third time I have not received a notification that my drive up order is ready. Frustrating having to wait and guess!

Safeway bought 4 crabs a little shopping This was on Friday Saturday Hi pulled the grabs out you gotta prepare for dinner clean them sat down with a friend Correct the crab As I was tasting it I looked over to my She looks strange I look strange back at her crab sucked it was the worst crab I ever had in my entire life they said freshly could I think they were frozen and last year's catch it was gross I threw all 4 of them in the garbage can I should have taken him back but I was so upset and mad I probably would unlock So We ended up going to in N out Burger thank you Safeway You don't care What the public thinks just move merchandise I was sick for 2 days If they're selling bad produce or fish because it sat up too long The manager needs a good talking to by his superiors

Absolutely atrocious. This is the JANKIEST Safeway in the area. It's 12:45pm on a Sunday and there's ONE person in the Deli and 2 checkout lanes open with lines going ALL THE WAY DOWN THE AISLE TO THE MEAT DEPARTMENT. This store is ALWAYS understaffed and have some of the most unpleasant checkers. Plus, can't tell you how many times I've found expired meat and dairy on the shelves.

I absolutely HATE shopping at my local Safeway. The store is gigantic and they have a good selection of things and a great produce section, but the layout is absolutely horrible. They've created a separate section in the middle of the store for alcohol, medicines and toiletries...with two separate registers for those things. I understand it's for loss prevention, but completely disrupts the flow of the entire store. So annoying. Also, they only have like 10 shopping carts for the entire store. They used to have lots, but I think they've all been stolen, so now there are never any carts outside. The carry baskets are too small and get too heavy when trying to do all my shopping in one spot. I wonder what they're going to as thanksgiving approaches and more people are going to be doing big shopping for family meals. I hate it here. It's the worst. If I'm in a pinch, this is where I come. If I need to do major shopping, I'll drive across town to Lucky's.

This Safeway used to be considered the "good Safeway" for this area but oh boy has that changed. From selection to quality everything has gone downhill. The shoppers at this location with their carts full are having to resort to using the self checkout because there are no registers open. On multiple occasions you see open packages of food that have either been eaten and put back or found randomly around the store. There is always at least one or two panhandlers at the entrance demanding money from people entering and leaving the store with their trash thrown around the one open entrance. It's a shame and it seems like nothing is being done about it. I personally cannot wait for Sprouts to open up in downtown so there's at least an alternative to this mess of a store. Do better Safeway, San Leandro deserves more than what you're providing.

Quality/Quantity - N/A - As they did NOT have either one of the items I wanted in stock..Sadly to say, the next Safeway I went to only had one of the items I wanted, so I quit after that. Atmosphere - Interior looks good.Starbucks is located right when you walk in, too bad I already had my cup of coffee for the day.The best part is that I discovered that Fieldworks Brewery is on the other side of your parking lot, too bad for me, they were closed today for training.Open 7 days a week from 5am to midnight.2 hour public parking, good luck.Plenty of paid meter parking on the street. Service - Please put a sign up on the doors that are closed and locked!!N/A for everything else. Oh, by the way, no one was working the meat/seafood department, but you did not have what I wanted anyway. Price - N/A, out of stock on both items... Owner Comment - I will come back to this location only because it is next to Fieldworks Brewery! Congrats on your success since 1915 with your 904 locations in 17 states.In 2015, Albertsons purchased Safeway.Safeway has a long history, which I will not get into.

There have been 0 available shopping carts anywhere in the parking lot, in front of or in the store. I dont care how many get stolen, it is the store's responsibility to provide shopping carts for people. Am i supposed to carry around my food in my arms? What happens when i have no more hands and more things to buy? What if i trip and fall on my face because my arms are too occupied to break my fall? Its absurd. Let me know when they bring back common courtesy aka shopping carts, but otherwise i will not be shopping here anymore

The most rude employees I have ever had the displeasure of dealing with in my life. No one wants to help with anything. Someone in full uniform wearing their name tag and everything told me they didn't work there when I asked for help. I have worked grocery stores for over 5 years and that is unacceptable. at least take your name tag off if you're on lunch or something but don't just tell me "I don't work here" when it could not be more obvious you do. Or rather you are employed there but silly me to think that you would do any WORK! I have some choice words for all of these "people" but I'll keep this review clean.

Today 3/2/22 my parents and I went to safeway at 6:00 pm. There's a safeway guy called Gabriel in the alcohol area doing checking for our grocery items. When we realized the price is wrong, he still kept saying it's right. When he called someone for help, he described me and my parents as 'CXXX a**** He is completely a racist, very rude to customers.

I need to tell everyone that VEDO in the fish department is incredible. I wish that all Safeway staff were as big hearted, respectful, he knows his business, great customer relations skills, this guy went above and beyond.... Above and beyond to find me some cat fish.... It appeared that there was no more catfish. After I left the counter he found some catfish, he searched me out and called me back to the counter..... Thank you Safeway for having VEDO in your staff.
