The worst experience I have ever witnessed. No one care to help you or want to do their job. Every person who I asked for help seems like they don't wanna try to help me. I needed something inside a glass cabinet in the auto dept. So I needed someone with a key to open it. I ask one worker who walked by. Called him three times but he keep walking and ignored me because he had ear buds on listing to music because another customer saw why he didn't hear me. So she called him to me because she was close to him. He told me the electric dept has the key. Then when I went there they said we don't have the key and sound like they don't want find someone who has it. I decided to leave after what I experience but I saw a worker in the auto dept when I was leaving and ask can you help me. She had the key smh.. So she got the item after 15 mins waiting. She put in a container for thief proof. So went to self check out. The thief proof wasn't even lock properly and was open. I just paid for it in the self check out and when I tried to give the thief proof box to a worker she doesn't even look and said im busy. I just put the thief box proof to the side and left. Never going back there again worst place ever.

Came into the store to do a return at 8pm and was told the returns department was already closed. How is it that, that specific department is closed prior to the rest of the store closing. Makes no sense and definitely annoying! Such an inconvenience for the customers.

I visit and shop and Walmart regularly and always find the best deals on groceries and household needs. I have never been disappointed or found a shelf empty of products. Online is always easier but if you're not sure what you're looking for going to the store is easy as well.

Today I shopped at Walmart in San Leandro on Hesperian Blvd.. I shop there once a week. I usually buy fancy feast cat food and various other things. I spend about $125 a week. The last few times I had to bring to the checkers attention that the shelf says .87 cents and it rings up for .88. It's only 1 cent. But when you are buying 96 cans that's nearly $ 1.00. So it's the principal. Change the price on the shelf if you are going to raise the price.Today Teresa the checker made a big fuss. She didn't know how to do it. Other checkers did it quickly no problem. So I asked for a manager to accomplish the override. That was nearly impossible to achieve . Finally after being pulled out of line ,ridiculed and abused by Teresa. She called me names and said things about me right in front of me. Horrible treatment. I was patient and kind. I figured she hates her job. I just wanted the price adjusted. The manager finally came made the adjustment and did not apologize. Really on New Years Eve. It was at 7:30 am so the store wasn't busy.I don't know why I'm shocked. I'm a Walmart plus member and I try to use scan and go when I'm not buying something that's priced wrong. Just so I don't interact with Walmart rude checkers. If you get someone nice it's rare. She also said don't expect any service this is Walmart. It was like a scene from Saturday Night Live. It was so outrageous I laughed .I'm considering shopping at Target you get what you pay for. Walmart no service you can abuse someone else in the future.

Parking is crowded with too many cars coming in and out. The parking lot size is way too small compared with the volume of customers.

4 stars strictly for the great prices!!Yep, this Walmart, like most, has all the the same Walmart stuff that people' dislike, but that stuff doesn't matter to me as long as I'm saving dough!!And they carry a huge variety of things!! I've come here for food, car items, Christmas gifts, tools, vitamins, athletic gear, household items, and they have them at reasonable if not lower than normal prices!!Located on Hesperian in San Leandro, getting in and out of the parking lot can be a hassle sometimes, especially when the In-N-Out Burger joint next door is crazy crowded and you can only get out one way!!The key for me though, is to get in, get what you came for, and get out!! I'm not here for the experience or ambiance, I'm here to save money!!

HORRIBLE.(Almost 2 hours on the phone for a simple YES or NO answer to a simple question!)NO HELP in any department when you call.Today I was trying to do money transactions at the service desk. They (all departments) always HANG UP when they pick up. Not even a HELLO. They just pick up and HANG UP.Basically they DROP CALLS over and over and over.FRUSTRATING.(This happened not just today. This has also happened on all other days that I've called over the past year.)I finally got someone and asked to speak to a MANAGER. I was waiting and waiting. Then they also just DROPPED my call without saying anything. It felt like customers mean NOTHING here.So I took my business somewhere else.I HATE the treatment at this store.

New Year Update. I was not able to get out to shop for groceries but they made it 100% easy with Walmart Plus and I was able to get my items on the promised date which was today (ordered on New Years Day)All items I ordered were accounted for and saved lots of money versus shopping at other stores locally. I'm very impressed by their grocery delivery service they are on par with Amazon as far as delivery goes. They try their hardest to make sure items you want are in stock.

I like Walmart coz it has good deals but this San Leandro branch has the rudest workers most especially this Indian lady cashier in TERMINAL #SC011300 today, 01/02/2023 at 09:59:39 this morning. She has no manners no customer service skills and she sounds like the lead coz she was condescending to the other workers there. How can this rude person have a customer facing job? Also I asked her to scan a Xmas item as I want to know if it's 75% off - she scanned it and said it is 75% off and it's only $2.47...I said I'll take it then suddenly she said it cannot be sold. I asked why when she was able to scan and check the price. She just said it cannot be sold and she put it aside. She didn't even bother to check why. She just put it aside. I think she wanted that item for herself that's why she said it cannot be sold. You're one Crappy Walmart employee. Rudest among the rude employees of San Leandro Walmart. If that Indian lady is supposed to be a lead there and training the employees, no wonder that store is filled with rude no manners no customer service skills employees.

I haven't been here in awhile. This isn't a welcoming location. And never really has been. There were employees everywhere including the front door and no one spoke when I came in, and no one spoke when I left. The checker did say hello before they talked to their co worker as they checked me out, no biggie. It was weird as I saw at least 20 + Walmart employees for the 10-15 minutes I shopped. Things are all over the place and at times space is limited when trying to pass other customers in here, but there are a lot of good items here. This location is cluttered with items/employees and maybe the employees only job is to watch people and prevent theft, but I don't think most shoppers are here to steal so maybe say hello, smile, ask if the customer needs help finding anything. Not here though. On the way in I passed armed agents (Not security guards)and on the way out I passed armed agents. Bullet proof vest and rifles. It didn't make me feel safe personally. I know it's a crazy world, but not all are crazy and we want to see/feel some kind of normalcy these days. This didn't feel normal.

This store opens at 6:00 am. There's no reason why the restrooms should look as bad as they do at 6:18 am. There is no excuse why they can't clean their bathrooms in the morning. Iron on the floor, supplies need to be stocked and it stinks in here.

The store itself isn't the issue. They have any and everything you could need. From school supplies, lingerie and makeup, to groceries, dvds and fishing gear. They even have a pharmacy. The main issue is the staffing. It's very hot and cold. You have very few who go above and beyond. The others can't even tell you where the televisions are. Another problem is that the t-shirts, underwear, makeup, fingernail polish and other items are now locked up. You have to push a button to prompt an associate to come open it for you. Sometimes the buttons are broken or the associates working in that department DON'T have a key. Walmart has become a hassle.

No bags at all and no warning from no one so you shop stand in a long line then treated rude and get to register and no bags what a joke of a place what kind of business planning is this it's a compete failure complete you call this great customer service ya right I would not recommend this place at all stay away it's a complete failure People are very rude very rude about the whole Now I am told by a manager that the upper management says say nothing to customers until check out This is really a bad mark on this wannabe business
