This is a Walmart in the East Bay, apparently from the reviews I read before going it's had some hard times like many destinations so when I went, I didn't expect too much. The store was neat full of merchandise. The staff were courteous, and the clientele was courteous and polite. The bonus was we had went late because we were traveling from a bit away, and we saw McDonald's which actually cheered us up. In addition to everything else we were grabbing. It had almost everything we Needed Tons more options and we could imagine. We were able to get all the holiday decor on top of a brand, new crockpot and a lovely T-shirt for an upcoming holiday party. We really enjoyed it. We kind of remarked how nice it was and how we would go here again. Apparently it went through rough patch, but this place is back and it's well stocked so much merchandise. it is hard to find everything, but well worth the effort , plan a lot of time really because there is literally so much stuff and it has stuff that's hard to find, and rarely seen, but very special for a unique present or a gift for oneself. The affordability of this place is very good.

There really is no point of having a pick up spot for drivers because most of the people parked in these spots are just here to park.

i only shop here because of convenience. Every item is locked up, even $1 items. Maybe they have to do this but it becomes a problem when there's no employees available to unlock anything. I spend half an hour waiting pressing the unlock button to get daily essentials like band aids or toothpaste. I will approach employees asking them to unlock the cases and they stare at me then walk away. Meanwhile there's 4 armed security guards at the door and someone checking your receipt. I'm no security expert but i feel like this system just inconveniences customers and probably isn't the most effective at combatting crime.

This is my second time here at this Walmart the first time I came i bought a DVD player \\u0026 the young lady that helped me in the electronics department was very hospitable and very knowledgeable about the equipment. She asked me if I had seen other DVDs that were on sale which I hated, but I had already picked out one that I needed. I had trouble with my credit card and the chip not wanting to work when it came time to pay and she was patient and pleasant with me, considering there was a line of people behind me, which made me very nervous. She told me it was OK and just to continue to try in getting it to work which I ended up praying at that moment and sure enough Jesus came through as usual and got it to work for me so I came back to bye a clock radio but they didn’t have one that I wanted battery operated, so I ended up looking at computers and she was very knowledgeable on those as well and explain to me everything that I wanted to do but I did not get one because they were out of my price range lulu very happy with that store will be back again. I need to find out her name .

Wallyworllldddd !!!! They have what you want but at the same time .. the store is messy !! Who unpack shipments in the middle of the day!! Blocking the isle where you can't even shop .. have to squeeze through just to shop!! This needs to be done when the store is closed in the middle of the night !!!PERIOD!! The associates have no personality!! No hi how are you have a great day !!! Talking to other co workers !!! But hey it's wallyworllldd!!!

I like how Walmart has more selections than Target. I go there often to get what I need. I hate that the merchandises are locked up, which getting help from an associate is unavoidable. I am always treated poorly every time I am there and I ask for help. They would make me wait until they helped all the customers before assisting me or they would ignore that I even asked for help. I went there four times this week in January (2023) and didn't buy anything because the lines were terribly long. They never have any shopping hand baskets for customers who have small purchases.

Not a Walmart location that I frequent too often. Today, though, I was in need of an electric shaver because my old one decided to give up on me. Searched online, and I saw that they had what I wanted at this Walmart store. So, I came to pick it up since the website said they were in stock at this branch. Unfortunately, the website was wrong. The electric shaver that I wanted was NOT in stock. The lady who assisted me was not the friendliest, but still acceptable. The store was pretty clean that rainy morning I dropped by, and they were not crazy busy which was a plus for me. I hate crowds.' Well, I ended up buying a different shaver cause I did not want to go to another location. Disappointing that they did not have the exact product I wanted. Would not let that deter me from stopping in again, though. Walmart provides some of the lowest prices around. For someone on a strict budget like myself, I appreciate having Walmart around.

Customer service is widely poor... their associates are unprofessional and unhelpful. When they have carts to stock and unload, instead of them giving you the way ,It's the other way around. Very rude.

If I could Rate -5 Stars I Would,.. Definitely don't recommend, employees can't provide a simple bandaid for customers, had a cut out of nowhere and was bleeding, then they had me tryna buy the pack, ma'am I only need one. I have a whole case full at home, Then someone directed me to the pharmacy, only for the B* Female at the consult booth to tell me she "Looked everywhere and didn't Find any" I waited, Then a guy came over seemed like a Higher Level Employee asked what I need help with told him my simple need, Had to Pull the Im HIV positive, just to get my simple need. Mind you I pulled it twice, firstly when I got to the front of the store, The customer service Dept, Damn lady said she don't got No First Aid Kit. 1st off that's a lie because you need to keep first aid kits handy in case someone gets hurt on the job etc or Anyone in need, I think it's osha requirement or something like that, (all businesses) for example CINTAS provides first aid kits for employees(Fact),..etc.. Then after I got taken care of i went over to the baby department to get what I needed, found what I needed is locked up, and went in a speedy search around the aisle to find an employee (waited 2 minutes after I pushed the button for assistance, nobody came) couldn't Find anyone then headed over to the toys department only to find a lady that was super unhelpful Deada** she's being paid to work to help out customers in need and if she can't do the job, help the person find someone who can do it, she's getting paid to work. Not to say that she's being demanded to stay in that department and not help anyone out, because that's exactly what she said to me only that's she's Mexican, can't even understand English so you need to talk to her in Spanish. smh. Also long lines you might as well go to self checkout mind you mostly card only no cash, it's rare. I rather go elsewhere. Also this was on 12/23/2022 around 4:50PM. SMH.
