“Pretty penny is my favorite! Every visit I find an incredible selection of clothes, jewelry and accessories at totally fair prices. The owner, Sarah, is always friendly and helpful.”

1355 Park St, Alameda“I love this shop! I brought in about 20 CD's to sell and they bought them all for a good price - when does this ever happen?? The staff is very friendly and helpful. While here, I picked up Jennifer Egan's A Visit From the Goon Squad in excellent condition for $5 bucks. They also have a great selection of DVD's. Another thing of note is that the store is very well organized and tidy, making it easy to find what you're looking for.”
“Outstanding fair prices and a huge ever-turning selection. I’m so glad I learned about this place! Ryan and team are fun and helpful. I bought mattresses, chairs, couches, and even a piano! Always shop here first!”

1428 Park St, Alameda“Naomi and Becky do such an amazing job of keeping this place stocked with the cutest inventory. Their taste and style are just everything I want when it comes to clothing, accessorizing, gifting, and more for my kids. This place is such a local gem- love it so much!”

20411 Santa Maria Ave, Castro Valley“Best consignment store. Something for all styles and accessories to match. Most of my favorite clothes I've purchased from here. Renee the owner is wonderful and always a pleasure.”
“I’ve always driven by but never stopped in since it was after hours. I got a chance to pop in today and I found so many treasures! The owner/buyer had a great eye for unusual and precious antiques. I picked up fantastic Christmas ornaments, a stunning smoky topaz ring, and vintage Japanese porcelain aquarium decor. The latter could be used in plant terrariums too. They kindly offered my dog a treat and made me feel welcome.”
“Great place to shop. Whenever I'm looking for something special, I go to the discovery store in Oakland. I am always pleased and amazed at the selection! Check it out!”
“I have been coming to Radbird for several years. I can always find stylish designer pieces although they tend to be on the pricier side of preowned clothing. Their prices seem to always land somewhere between $200-$400. The fine jewelry collection is gorgeous. The ladies who work there are always kind but the fitting rooms could use some full length mirrors.”
“I went in and asked for help finding accessories for a Studio 54 party. The clerk helped me find some incredible sunglasses that matched my dress perfectly. I love this place!”

522 Center St, Moraga“This store is a gem! Beautiful quality pieces tastefully displayed. The staff is amazing very helpful and kind. This is my new favorite high-end consignment store.”
“Excellent selection and customer service. We had a rough time planning for Christmas this year. I ordered a handful of items online and they wrapped everything free of charge and had it ready to go for us. They have a large selection of dress up toys, second hand clothing, and toys that encourage imaginative play.”
“Amber is a wizard. She took my two tone, brassy hair and matched it perfectly to my natural color in two and a half hours. She's so sweet and unpretentious, and the store has more style than pretty much anywhere else in Oakland. Other salons cost twice as much and give you a much worse experience. Amber is a truly awesome hairstylist and I can't recommend her enough.”

1519 Park St, Alameda“Long time vister first time reviewer.... Every time I go I find something so cute and so perfect! And something that I couldn't imagine finding again so I have to buy it which is good and bad. But I love this place. They always have new things which is crazy for a thrift shop!”
“I often pop in here to get second hand clothes or shoes for my kids. Recently it was my son's 4th birthday and we were all home sick. He had been asking everyday for over a month if his birthday was tomorrow and if he could please have a spider stuffie. He was so sad to miss his birthday at school and I had had no time to buy him a present because we had back ti back illnesses for a month. I called Kelly's corner, they had one and asked if I could pay over the phone and have her toss it out the door to me so as not to infect anyone .she was so sweet and offered to drive the gift to my house (we lived nearby)after work. She even wrapped it in a gift bag and added a few trinkets. It made his day and meant so much to me. Thank you!”

3906 Smith St, Union City“This place is fire, everyone is welcoming and if you have any questions they are right on it. The owner is super helpful with shoes and clothes. They always have everything I need and if they don't they will always find a way to get it the next day. Appreciate this store and hope they have a good future ahead of them.”
“They used to have an architect firm here that barely attracted any flies inside, then this wonderful, eclectic cute antique shop took over. They invited the lady from Moss plants to sell their beautiful plants and the result is balanced gentle magic. Here you can find gifts for yourself or for a special occasion, or no reason at all. Walking in here was a nice fresh break for a Sunday, greeted graciously by Nan who let me wonder around the shop without policing me or being a typical pushy sales person, quiet the opposite. Her level of education and appreciation for art and antique recognized the good client in me and others who happened to walked inside, and that's a good sales person. In the meantime I had to share this with more folks. Perfect place to buy a nice, cozy, or an elegant last minute gift.”
“Great second hand woman's clothing store! We went with the whole family and found so many great things for my wife. The kids were cheering on mom as she found so many great items. But in all seriousness, there were lots of really nice designer clothing and accessories for women. Great shop!”
“Great service and quality for restoring lamps. Excellent selection of shades and lamps if you are looking for something to fit your Victorian or older home.I have 3 lamps from them -- 2 they restored for me. They look and work great! Currently have a 4th one in the shop there for restoration. Beautiful!”

4018 Piedmont Ave, Oakland“Thank you Nils for being engaging and providing excellent customer service. I had just left a store in another town and had a terrible customer experience.I’ve been in retail and merchandising my entire career. And to sum it up, great customer service turns into sales and conversion. So simple just to say hi…..”can I help you find something?”Check this place out. Awesome shoe selection and consignment store. Also, while you shop, they will repair your phone screen. Thanks guys!Shop Oakland!”
“Always some fun new rotating items! Makes me feel like I’m at the able sisters shop from animal crossing with their displays changing. The staff/volunteers are friendly and make good conversation. Decently priced home goods too!”
“Great store, amazing finds, supporting an all women business is a win for me! Plus they had what I was looking for for my Christmas shopping list! It’s a circular economy- less waste in our landfill, affordable items for my wallet, repurposed items going to a good home and supporting single moms all while keeping our dollars in Oakland.”

601 Webster St, Oakland“We were in the area and decided to stop by. It's not in the best of neighborhoods so I judged and thought it would not be good. First I walked in and everything is sorted by color to be honest I loved that. It was easy to find what you wanted. The closest were name brand and a lot of cute finds. There was also a lot of stuff with new tags. The prices were super reasonable. Definitely a hidden gem.”
“Since living around this area, I love going in there to take a look around their nice selection of vintage clothing and accessories. The downside is, I don't think they have updated their open hours.Went in there around 11 and they were still closed. I hope they update their business hours if they have changed! Would love be able to go when I know they will for sure be open”
“The berkeley flea is small but you can come home with some great things depending on the day! I came here a lot in college and was able to find a rocking chair for $10, cool rings, clothes, misc electronics like a power surge or RCA cable and more. There are also specialty vendors like artisan goods, and food. I always find really good records from Glenn, and beautiful Nepalese clothes from other sellers. The earlier you come on the weekends, the better :)”
“I would highly recommend coming here! The owner Michael is nice and the store is really clean. All of the clothing was sorted by color and it was very well organized. We liked looking through all the racks, all of the clothes were great quality and there was something there for everyone. The prices were also extremely fair. I will definitely come back the next time I am in Berkeley!”
