The store had everything I went in for for wound care. It was recommended by my sister, she's happy with this place. And I saw things that another friend of mine is looking for. So I was very pleased with my experience there and will be going back for any of my medical supply needs.

Deplorable scam! The Cloud website advises no refunds for early returns but due to reviews ( many of which are from other areas of the country) and I thought it unlikely that Cloud and their “partners” would rip off disabled people, I went ahead and reserved a mobility scooter for my nephew who has CP with mobility issues. They make it convenient to drop off at your hotel or accommodations. And when we got to the hotel, it was there. I paid for a crutch holder and they did not include it. Then when we tried it out later that day, it kept stopping and beeping. Can you imagine if you were handicapped and the scooter stopped in the middle of the road when you were crossing? We didn’t even make it a block and had to turn around and go back. I left phone messages and emails to Cloud’s partner Thrifty rentals and they never responded back. I finally got ahold of them at 1:00 the next day. By then I decided that I had spent way too much time dealing with the issue and for the short time we were in San Francisco I didn’t want to waste it dealing with scam artists. My nephew was so looking forward to getting around and exploring. It was the first time he was away from home. Now I’m out $300 for a piece if equipment that wasn’t usable and was actually dangerous. I’d say shame on you to both companies but since they are in business of ripping off disabled people obviously they don’t have the ability to be shamed?.

Life is not always easy when you need to live in a wheelchair however it's very helpful to have Thrifty Medical supply to help with my medical supply needs

I rented a wheelchair for my disabled sister from this company through a broker. It was not a good experience. The chair they delivered had a faulty brake. It made pushing the chair extremely difficult. It took 2 days for this to be corrected. Initially they were going to swap out the chair for another that had the exact same problem. It was a simple fix that the delivery person accomplished in minutes with a few tools. Why weren't the chairs inspected and repaired before sending them out to a customer? The other problem was the lack of communication and reliability in the delivery/pick up process. In both cases, I requested time frames to expect their driver and call backs when they couldn't supply one. I never got a single call back and both the repair and pickup were not done on the day promised. I sat around at home for hours waiting for them. They showed no regard for my time or good business manners by letting me know that they would not be arriving on the day scheduled. And they just showed up the next day with no prior notice. I would not rent from this company again.

I needed cath supplies and had been trying to find them literally for months. Today I walked into Thrifty and they immediately understood what I needed, worked with me until it was evident that the items needed to be ordered (they had stock but just not enough of the kind I needed), ordered them and gave me the option to have it delivered to my home. Couldn't get any better: knowledgeable, patient, willing to listen and work with you to get what you want and need. Best customer service I've encountered in person in a long time.

I needed a wheelchair repair on Saturday July 15th. I called and the gentlemen said he could repair it. A wheel came off and needed to be reattached. He was able to repair the wheel. This allowed my mother 84, to travel with her wheelchair that day. We received excellent customer service.

I broke my foot in three places and needed a few things- portable commodes, electric scooter and a transport wheelchair. They are open 7 days a week and the staff was very knowledgeable and helpful.

Ok so I went to Walgreens for an arm sling and when I put it on it was tight and extremely uncomfortable, but it was the only size they had (One Size). I found Thrifty and they had the perfect arm sling, comfortable and definitely of better quality. It was far bigger and roomier. This is definitely something I will use for the next few weeks while my arm recovers.

I called and it was answered right away to see if they had this item I wanted and they said yes. As soon as I walked in both gentleman smiled and said hello and how they could help me. I told them what I was looking for and they found it right away for me and even showed me other options to make sure I liked what I was getting. The place is very well organized and clean. Many selections for different items like recliner chairs, walkers and first aid supplies. Will be going back whenever my grandparents need anything.

I needed a post op shoe & the lady at the shop was incredibly helpful. She was knowledgeable and kind. This level of service is rare nowadays. I would not hesitate to recommend Thrifty Medical Supply to anyone who will listen.

Plenty of parking. Entrance can be a bit confusing if you're coming from Castro Valley Blvd. I called the day before and asked if they had an item I needed. The stated they did. I told them I would be in the next day to pick it up. They took my blame and I assumed they were reserving the item for me. I arrived the next day and was told they didn't have the item I needed. We left then received a call a few minutes later stating they had reserved my item and didn't think to ask my name. I returned picked up my item and left. They staff is very friendly but a little unorganized. One person helping customers while the cashier is doing?????. This is my second time at this establishment. I hope in the future they will be a little more organized.

Thrifty Medical Supply was a pleasure to do business with. We have been in need of an electric hospital bed 2 different occasions in the past couple years. The staff is very professional and friendly ( which is harder to find these days) the equipment was in great condition and most importantly the mattress was clean and comfortable. The delivery and set up was excellent and the delivery Men were clean and courteous. Overall we are highly satisfied and recommend Thrifty Medical Supply to everyone. Thank you for making this so user friendly.

I never thought I would need to rent a mobiIity scooter, so when I needed one I checked out my local Thrifty! I rented a scooter and It works so well! I love that they have many rentable options to choose from. I originally rented for the week but just extended my rental for the month. I’m very impressed with the quality for the price! And the staff were very helpful. If you are struggling with mobility, check them out. You will be well cared for.
