It's one of the best sandwich spots in the Bay Area. I've been going to this place for the last few years. The owners take great care of me and remember my order. Flavorful sandwiches, good portion, and amazing service. You will not be disappointed no matter what sandwich you ordered.

Was in the area and in the mood for a sandwich. Decided to give them a try after finding them on Yelp. Glad I did, food looks like the pictures and tastes as good. Service and food was excellent. I saw a sign in the window saying they have been open since the fifties. I can see why. I got the turkey/avocado/bacon with pepperjack cheese on Dutch crunch roll. Their sandwiches are massive and reasonably priced. Will be back! (Have already been back once)

The deli is the BEST for sandwiches and a Teriyaki chicken rice meal. All meats are fresh and numerous salads to choose from. The market is attached and it has chips, sodas, etc. for sundries.

Such a hidden gem in San Leandro!! If you like a fresh and delicious sandwich and you're in the area or just driving by, I'd definitely give this place a try! The owners are also super nice and genuine people

I've been coming to this hidden gem since the 90s. It's still just as good as ever. Great meat portions on the sandwiches. Turkey, tri-tip, hot links, all of it is delicious.

This place has the best sandwiches in the Bay Area by far. Love the people community and friendliness of this small local business. Not to mention cleanliness and customer service at a 10! I definitely recommend!

Food: 5/5 Every bite of the sandwich was scrumptious and to be savored. Mmm...Mmm...Mmm... The bacon was crispy and thin. I omitted the tomatoes and lettuce. Requested extra onion and hot peppers. The Dutch crunch roll was fresh and soft. The toppings were properly portioned so everything married well together. I didn't think I'd eat the whole sandwich but I did. Too tasty to put down. Besides, I had a liquid protein shake and arugula salad earlier. Something heavier was warranted. Service: 3/5 I came into the store and no one was at the deli counter. Hence, no greeting. I made my presence known by saying hello. I could see the gentleman behind a partition and heard he was on the phone. He gets up while still on the phone and proceeds to help me. To keep it professional I feel the appropriate thing to do would have been END the call and solely focus on the customer. Nonetheless, I received my sandwich made as requested. Ambiance: 3/5 The store and deli counter appeared clean and well maintained. Just congested and oddly structured. When I lived close to this market years ago I'd come often. I happened to be in the area and decided to stop in for the amazing tasting sandwiches I remember. The quality is still there. During lunch time you'll find many of the sheriffs or police stopping in for a sandwich.

Crab salad sandwich on a dutch crunch roll, with standard toppings: mayo, spicy deli mustard, light shredded lettuce add pickles and a slice of cheese; perfection!

Best sandwiches in the Bay Area. Great friendly customer service. I have been going to this deli for almost 20 years and it's still my go to place. Now my kids love their sandwiches too and call them "the best sandwiches in the world". I know I'm giving them good quality food at a great price. Their shop is always clean, owners are great and take time to talk to you. Would not change this for anything

Hidden little deli inside a liquor store. Been coming here since 2000's and they have the best sandwiches. The sandwiches are stacked with meat and the people there are super nice. Plus side is picking your own chips and soda in the store and the checkers are always so cheerful and have a huge smile. Thank you!
