I don’t like to do this, but I have to so yesterday afternoon I went inside and I noticed that the store has changed to 7-Eleven. I purchased a tall cans, Coke and two chicken wings. It was one of the spicy one and when I went and check out the guy at the cashier we’re trying to charge me $28 and I know that is not the right price and I put in my number and to get discount and he gave me back all my change and I told him that I know that it’s not the right price that he was trying to charge me because I bought them before at a different location and it wasn’t $28.

Just wanted to let everyone know that my car got damaged when going through the car wash at the Gas Station. The car wash attendant mentioned that that they were experiencing issues and asked that their Manager would contact me. They did not want to share any insurance information. I called multiple times but the Manager kept deferring the issue and said someone would contact me to assist with the repairs. They never did. Horrible customer service. Do not go to this place for car wash.

I mainly came here because I knew they had a car wash. There's also a Burger King on the other side of the building. I went inside to purchase my $9 express car wash. But they do have other options. It was nice to see that even if you wanted to pay for the car wash before you drive inside, you can pay with paper money instead of only credit card. I like how my car was washed and dried by the machine. No problems.

On 12/20/22 at approximately 1250 hrs, I arrived at Shell Gas station (1944 Davis St, San Leandro CA) and found that pump#3 was not operating. I then went to all pumps and found that they were not operating. Staff (Carolina) stated she had no paper to post that pumps were not working and disregarded complaint. Terrible customer service. I advised Carolina that we should refrain from having people come up to her and advise the pumps were not working since she knew that they were not working this morning. She stated that the manager would be in tonight and someone could come and speak with him. I'm not sure where she received her customer training, but it definitely did not include problem solving. She even stated that she did not have the managers phone number. I was dumbfounded. I was clearly speaking with an idiot at this point. If you ever find yourself at this gas station, take it upon yourself to become an employee for 5 minutes since staff have no clue how to run a gas station.

Can never tell if the car wash card reader is gonna work or if someone installed a scammer, employees don’t care I tell them it doesn’t work and they shrug and say the sign must have fallen off, really?

On 7/01/22 At 9:50pm two employees were smoking outside of the entrance door, and I inquired if the store was open? They both indicated no, however the store hours indicate otherwise? I understand the store needs to be closed form the inside, but I have alway been able to make purchases from the outside window? I don't recognize these guys, and appear to be new hires that are bad apples. I wasn't able to find any customer feedback section from the company webpage? I hope the owner manager takes notice?

Went in against my better judgement for a car wash. I was left with a dent in my back up camera which now needs to be replaced to get rid of the blurry spot in the middle. Then as I got on the freeway my drivers mirror shakes so much I can barely see when I'm driving at freeway speeds. I doubt anyone checks these before they go and get a gas station car wash. But the $13 "extreme" was was extreme alright. I'm looking at $450 for a new mirror and I haven't even priced out a new camera yet. BEWARE!!!!!! I will tell all my friends and family in San Leandro to avoid this car wash and the gas station in general!

Their hours say they close at 10pm but they are closed earlier than advertised, usually around 8:30 they close the store and there is no employee in sight, I suspect they are understaffed or possibly don't want to be bothered by customers.

This gas station seems be closed at such random times. There is always people waiting outside for someone to open the doors.

Like others have said, the establishment is rude. Don't buy a car wash. They changed out their system and I had to exchange my receipt.That was last year during the pandemic, maybe October. My receipt was good till December 21, 2020. I got surgery on my knee December 12, 2020, which I can supply documents to prove.I just started driving again and realized I had my car wash receipt, which the car wash expired. I went in with my receipt to get it exchanged, and the guy was rude, even though I have a brace on, a swollen knee and a big old scar, which looks pretty fresh. I even told the guy "I can bring back documents to show I had surgery."I had paid $8, which isn't a lot in the scheme of things, and when I asked if I could get a refund, since I bought a product and due to circumstances beyond my control, didn't get to use it, the counter person was like "NO!" It's expired, that's it, too bad."Really? So not only did I pay for the product and not get it, I couldn't even get a refund?? It's not like I'm returning a product I had used or even taken off the property, it's a code you can simply change and at least give your regular customers that much credit and respect for being a loyal patron. I've bought lots of gas and car washes over the years and it was the first time I requested something like this.The service here has really degraded over the past year. This is not the first incident with this station, but it'll be my last. There's a Costco gas right behind it, which charges less and yes I'm a member so I WON'T be getting gas here anymore even though I had been a regular customer here for the past 5 years.Shell, you really need to take a thorough look at this place and consider a managerial change and some serious retraining!P.S. I have 3 cars at home, my neighbor has 2... AND NOT ONE WILL BE GASING UP AT THIS SHELL EVER AGAIN!
