This Ford store has to be the worst in all of the Bay Area. The advisers are clueless and the mechanics lack common sense. Everyone who worked Jan 17, 2024 are incompetent. From the advisers all the way down to the mechanics. If I was the owner, I would pay more to have actual professionals and not clowns.

I traded my car for a new one at the LIVERMORE Ford store a year ago.For the past few months, the San Leandro Ford store has been calling me regarding a recall on my old car. I called once to let them know I no longer own that vehicle.Lo and behold, I get another phone call today regarding a recall on a car that I 1.) Do not own anymore 2.) Did not purchase at that location and 3.) Asked not to call about any more.The lady I spoke with was surprised the last time I was at the San Leandro Ford store was 5 years ago. I told her "Yes, because your location sucks." (Another incident happened where I set an appointment for a service and it took them 8 hours to finish and I was "Lucky they got to my car").This location is terrible. It either needs to close down altogether or hire some competent people that CARE ABOUT CUSTOMERS

On a random day, I was driving to work and my car started shaking excessively every time I stepped on the gas. Next thing I noticed was the engine light flashing over and over. I assumed something was very wrong and my car needed urgent repairs. So I went straight to the Ford store for help. I went there because They were close by and also helped with a previous repair that I didn't have to pay for thanks to my warranty! They immediately took my car in and even provided me a ride where ever I wanted to go. The repairs were expensive but they were accommodating and my car was fixed the next day!

San Leandro Ford service plan and service are a complete rip off!I purchased a service plan with my new truck from San Leandro Ford and took my vehicle in twice a year for maintenance using my plan. On several occasions items that were checked off their checklist of items serviced were not actually done. The very first item on the checklist is "filled windshield wiper fluid". Each and every time the fluid was not filled. The last time it was bone dry which I knew before hand and wanted to see if they noticed and of course they did not even though it was the very first item in the checklist. You can only imagine what else was not completed from their list of maintenance items that I paid for were not serviced such as oil change and filter, other fluids, etc. Rotation of tires, I marked my tire knowing which side it came from and as expected when I picked up my vehicle that tire was in the exact same position. I prepaid for my maintenance so it wasn't like these were free. Also, the entire time over the years of service I am told that I have X amount of services left in my plan. I was assured multiple times I "will get what I paid for". I recently went in for scheduled service with the expectation that I had 2 services remaining just to show up in the morning to be told that I did have 2 left but my plan had expired! How does something you paid for expire??? I have low mileage in my vehicle and of course it was due for 50,000 service and I was also told at my last service that they will be doing my brakes at my next service as part of my plan. Now I am left without 2 major maintenance items that I was assured were covered. I was told I can still have my truck worked on but is going to cost me so I took back my keys and drove off and away from this scam of a dealership. I am not the only one that has had these same issues! Do not buy or service your vehicle at San Leandro Ford.

Bad service, those who serve are not trained, and they no longer accept cash, I have a confirmed order and they don't even give it to someone who needs it, they should improve a lot

I should've read these reviews first. Everyone who works here is friendly but whoever's in charge is unfair and greedy. I was charged $1400 to repair a broken fuse which could've been done for probably a couple hundred bucks or maybe a tiny bit more. I brought my car back because my car steering went out and I was quoted $2700 for the parts and $2000 for labor and had to pay $265 for them to tell me this. I should've gone to a different repair shop who would've given me a free quote. I only agreed to pay the $265 for them to tell me what was wrong with the car because the guy there told me that although the other mechanics do a free quote they charge even more for labor which was a flat out lie.I Bought the parts online last night for $750 after tax and I just scheduled the repair elsewhere for a total labor cost of $865 so they quoted me at $4700 and I'm getting it done for $1615. Over here they charge about quadruple or more for parts and charge about 3 times more what the labor should cost. Nothing against the people I personally spoke with as they are friendly but I certainly will never be returning as whoever sets the pricing tries to rip you off hugely.

Ford Service:To save myself time, just read all the other one star reviews as that is EXACTLY my experience! The only redeemable quality of this shitty department is the receptionists! Every time I call they have done their best to get me the answers! Ford needs to reconsider their Service Manager/Department as I have never seen such a shit show! Communication does not exist amongst that team!

My car has a flat tire and I paid for wheel and tires and now they don't want to cover that cause was on bolt in the tire what ridiculous are services here Avoid this place

I purchased my brand new 2020 hybrid escape from San Leandro FORDWhen I took my car in for the 2nd oil change Ford told me that everything was done But there was no oil change sticker in the window, oil was dirty they didn't even change it! When I took it in for the 2nd recall the engine could catch on fire. They said that they did it a year ago,but today I found out that they never repaired the recall. My car is still at Ford It's in there for the 3rd recall window switches will cut your fingers service guy informed me that they never did the Recall about the engine catching on fire. Be AWARE they're liars over there. It seems they don't properly service my car because i'm a woman and I go there alone.

In October of 2021, I put a 500.00 deposit on a new truck, a new Ford Maverick.Today, 15 months later, I picked up my now 2023 Maverick truck.A series of delays of chain supply issues and other mishaps lead to my waiting.Through this time, my sales person Nicole Keene was very helpful in keeping me updated thru it all.The dealership treated us very well and we paid MSRP without any hidden fees .Happy to finally get our new truck home todayThank you Ford Store San Leandro!

This places really sucks!! I got an appointment for oil change at 7:00 am they promised the car at 10:00. 3 hours for oil change is a lot of time. But the car wasn’t ready in 3 hours the took 5 hours for oil change. Is ridiculous.

When we got there customers service was so bad when we step foot in there they gave us dirty looks and when we ask for the price it was so high and the car ac didn't work so we asked him about it he scream at us saying it second hand car and told us if u want new one and also when we tried to take a picture of the paper and he crumbled it up and threw it at my sister and said wasted of his time and also he was being really racist because we were Asian and he told us to never come back again and were now going to sue them for harassment i don't recommend you going there I don't want anyone to feel how i feel so I don't recommend it
