I have been using this company for about 10 years now since it was a small accounting firm under another name. Though there were a few rough spots during the transition around 5 years ago I have always been pleased with the results. My tax and accounting needs are not that extreme, I fall somewhere in the middle, but my situation was never more complex than this past year (sold home, moved, got married, many financial transactions and changes). Prices are fair and they have always been good with advice and answering questions. I have found Dhakshini to be particularly helpful these last couple of years, she has really helped calm my jitters about getting my taxes right!

I've used this company for a few years now and have to say that the old ownership was great but the new ownership I've over the past three years , not so much. They do the bare basics. They are not proactive. They really screwed up with some paperwork I had last year and I am now looking for a new company so let's just say I have to change my old review.

It's our first time to file in their Estudillo branch and luckily we had Dhakshini the owner herself who assisted us and we couldn't be more grateful for her extra mile and excellent service! She was very knowledgeable which was very helpful for newbies like me! She was hands on in answering every question even after hours and in her full potential have us the best maximum refund we can get and file appropriately! 5 stars for a highly satisfactory service and smooth efficient transaction! She was also very pleasant to talk with, customer service on point I felt I gained a friend in her! She was very accommodating and friendly! :) Definitely would recommend her and be back to her again next year ;) Great job and very happy with the first try!! Appreciate all your help, Neeka team ;)

I have used Neeka accounting services for the past thirty years however I have been extremely disappointed with them over the past two years. Surprisely I just discovered today that the former owners had retired perhaps that is why the service is so poor! This year I had not received anything concerning my 2017 tax return, no bill and no communication. When I call to inquire about it they told me the person who was working on them was in India indefinitely. No one knew where my taxes were relocated. During the course of filing my tax returns I had specified not to call my landline only communicate with me through my cell phone. The representative continued to call my landline without leaving any specific information just her name with no call back number. I finally spoke to her and she said I was missing an additional bank account of which I am unaware of the phantom account she was referring to. After months of waiting I contacted them three times in five days with staff promising they would locate my information. In the first call I was told they had put in an extension for my taxes of which I was unaware of until three months later. Clearly I would not recommend this company to anyone! An accounting disaster!

These folks are terrific. They cost less than other tax preparers and they have rare communication skills. They answer their phones. They send out materials promptly. My tax preparer in prior years, part owner Susan Toleffson was great but she never wanted to meet in person. This current change of ownership is exceptionally personable, kind, and patient and that's why I don't mind driving out from San Francisco in heavy traffic to meet with them. They listen, they advise, they recommend and I never feel criticized or judged. It's a great way to do business, in fact they operate their business like I operate my organizing business-- with exceptional care and attention to the client! Recently switched to Neeka and I highly recommend them! My last CPA was unresponsive, disorganized, and made several mistakes making it necessary to switch companies. Despite it being in the middle of the busy tax season, Neeka was able to take my case and complete it so quickly. They have a straightforward online portal but whenever I emailed them with questions they responded that same day. My taxes were filed early and they amended the errors on my previous year's taxes so that I received even more on my return- didn't know that was even possible! I can't be happier with my experience and wish I switched sooner.
