I just had a relative that was just in this facilty in San Leandro. Per my relative the nurses need some lesson on how to treat patients during this pandemic. My relative is a diabetic . He had a nurse be very rude to him. he said the food was terrible. we all know the hospital food is bad, but if the person bring you your tray can't tell you what the meal is, I think is pretty bad. they wouldn't bring him snacks or anything. Him being a diabetic the meals have to be with that patients guideline. Off course , your sugar is going to be off if you're not getting the right diet. How do we know during this pandemic if our love ones a getting the right nutrition. Whose checking up on them( facility) during this Covid-19? since no one can visit???

This place is better then the county hospital people here are kind and considerate, they seem to care, there is not a lot of call lights lit at this place cause one is usually answered pretty quickly. The only negative thing is shower days are only twice a week and when someone has a rash they may need baths more due to medicine and cream building up and to help get rid of the dry itchy skin so it doesn't get worse. The food is very good and you can ask for seconds, for what it is I was surprised that this place Was so nice! I've heard a lot of rumors about places like this, none of that s*** applies here! I would recommend this place

We have patients come to this facility. The rehab team is amazing. The social worker Tori rocks! The admission team is very friendly, informative and knowledgeable! Many of our patients gaining their independence back! I would highly recommend anyone whose loved one is finding a rehab to check out this place!

I just got married here. My in-laws have been here for the past few months. The staff has been nothing but truly amazing! They went out of their way to help us with our special day. Even painted walls and changed curtains! People are quick to judge when something happens that no one has control over. We've spent days on end at this place and have gotten to meet the most caring people. I know I already said this but when I tell you they are truly amazing I really mean it!! Keep up the good work!

I had the unfortunate pleasure of staying here for 3 weeks. Pleasantly surprised at the cleanliness, friendliness and professionalism of the support staff and several of the CNA's. The therapy department was great in getting me back on feet and able to come home with minimal care. My overall experience here was very positive and if I had to return I would.

Well I don't no where to start, I was brought to this place as of blood clots in my legs. I feel like these people are very Unprofessional. Even talked with administrator an he did nothing. So under staffed an the nurses they do have are to over worked to even do there job, well the ones that work.Nurses hang out in hallways laughing an joking so loud all hours of the night an you can't even sleep. Not the ones that sit in the hallways laughing an joking an playing on there phones for hours even while the buzzers are going off. The doors here are not for the handicap, they are so hard to get into when your in a wheelchair. Hurt my shoulder an hands so much trying to get in an out. If you want to go outside in the back it's horrible the ground has missing boards so you get stuck an there's no way to call for help, they have dirty beds an supply's all over that you have to be careful you don't trip.I got stuck an had to hold onto a pole when I could hardly stand an got my wheelchair out of hole. The door to going outside it absolutely so hard to hold an get in with a wheelchair or cane. That's why everybody is confined to staying in. Since I been here there are only two others that are able to get out. So no one gets to see the outside at all. The Social workers are horrible they treat you so wrong, I was helping my room mate when this one came in an said not to help her an I was out of here on the 11th very rude. I talked to the administrator an nothing was done. She said she talks to all her residents all the time, well never once came in my room for me nor my room mate that asked for her for over a week. The therapy is really great here an very nice, but even they are doing the nurses jobs by dressing taking to bathrooms an so on. Not fair when they have a lot of work themselves. I am hoping things change here, but haven't seen it yet been here for 29 days. The yelling every night by other residents, the not paying attention or even giving time to take outside for even 5 minutes. Even 2 people passed away while I was here. Hearing about a lady falling in her room on her face caus she was trying to get her glasses. This place is so understaffed that it's very scary. I do not recommend this place at all. Unless there's a change. I don't see 3 nurses with over 92 patients getting things done, Especially on the one side that the people that live here they are so needy. My release date of Jan 19 th so therapist put in for my cane around 12th. So then I asked my therapist to go make sure my cane is coming today as of I'm leaving tomorrow an tomorrow is a Saturday an no one will be here, so she does an social worker said that it wasn't written down, an my therapist said yes it was an even went over it with patient, finally she sees it an says oh ok don't worry if I have to I'll be here tomorrow to get it to her. These social workers don't have it together at all nothing but problems an attitudes with them. My therapist said don't worry Rhonda I will leave one of ours with you an you can get it back to us when you can if they don't get it for you. I've gone through so much frustration That it was hard to focus on myself other than worrying about how that I was going to be treated by these social workers, Don't think being here we should have to worry and think of how they're going to treat us while we're here. We're supposed to be here to get better not to go through what I've gone through. I really think someone should go through this place and help them out because they need a lot of help very understaffed and that's not a good thing when we rely on them. And they really need a social worker that cares and has respect for their patients. So now the Social worker told my therapist that there not going to have my cane ready when I leave as if she didn't put it in on time. This is just crazy.Oh an the food is just horrible

They have a table inside the kitchen you can reserve (may just be if you do a tasting menu). Lots of fun!
