I have been coming here for years. My 3 small children love coming here. The gentleman that has all the bad reviews is very kind, my youngest son (age 6) calls him the Pokémon dealer, hahaha. He has taught my children how to tell if their cards are rare and educates them on how to properly handle cards. My children have received many rare cards in his $5 packs and bigger sets, he has a great collection of cards constantly getting new products. But most importantly my children love coming here for their Pokémon dealer, and cards.

DONT SHOP HERE. They sold my daughter and I a resealed charizard UPC and when I called him about it they said there was nothing they can do to contact pokemon support. It was very obvious the product had been tampered with.

I've purchased from this shop online in the past and it was an ok experience. His Ebay shop has some good stuff, but he blocked me just because I let him know one of his listings was not the item pictured. I literally buy hundreds of comics every month. You don't want my money, cool. You don't know how to run a shop & you're running yours into the ground.

Questionable business practice . I wanted to pay by using a card. Older man said I need to spend $30 to use a card . I asked for a receipt , He said I had to pay $1 for a receipt.

It’s tough. I feel bad for him, he has a lot of old product, but refuses to look at comps on eBay and uses only Becket. I have gotten a couple great deal, but turned down just as many. I think he needs a partner who can bring new energy to the shop. Covid has not been nice to him. Go an buy something, make sure he is able to stay open.

Google map shows open hours, but maybe it’s incorrect? Says it’s open today at 10am, but no lights are on. Been here for 15 minutes in the parking lot. Guess I’ll go somewhere else.??♂️ kinda disappointed.

The smell of cigarettes was trough the roof, which is astounding given the fact that I wasn't even allowed to go inside the store. Stuff was pretty uninteresting anyways.

Review long overdue: Why are you even open? Owner does not let anyone look inside the shop. You must look from the doorway to see what they have. I don't mind the smoke smell but I've gone once a month for the last year and it's always no entry. How do you expect people to enjoy purchasing hobby cards when you can't even see anything? And his items are all marked up in prices which again I wouldn't mind as much if I could look around... Close this place down. Save yourself a trip.

Found this place by chance and struck gold.It has baseball football basketball to Pokémon cards.Mike is a wealth of knowledge when it comes to cards.Mike an old school kinda guy that's rough and direct but I love that kind of character. You gotta know what you want and what your into and Mike will give you what you need but come with d*** questions like what do you have and you'll get a head chewed off lol.Great card shop that's hidden in San Leandro that has character and a bit of cigarette smell that will give you that 80s nostalgia lol.

Never been here but already know I am never going to go here. I was at crash comics in Castro Valley. They where out of what I was looking for. So the guys there recommend me to check out m & m cards and comics. But they told me to call first to see if they had what I wanted. Cool! So I did. The guy that pick up was rude right off the bat. He didn’t say hi. All he said was CARDS then a long Pause. I said hello then he replied with a yes. Then he Proceeded to interrupt me in my conversation kept telling me that what I was looking for they didn’t make it in packs. ( Pokémon cards) I couldn’t even get a word out. He kept interrupting me when I was asking a question. I just seemed like he had better stuff to do and wasn’t helpful at all.

We love to visit different card shops to see what they have. Drove to this one since it was on our way back to the airport from our weekend getaway. When you walk up they have the entrance blocked by a table, so you can't step in. Which is fine cause it reeked of cigarette in there. I stayed just right out side the door cause I could not stand the smell. My husband asked to see what they got and guy says everything is on the table. Took all of one minute from walking there to getting back to the car. I guess we take our business elsewhere then.
