“I saw the video of those two clowns I'm so sorry you have to go through that that is exactly why I moved out of San Leandro it is sandwiched in between Oakland and Hayward and I've lived in both of those places I'm happy to be away from those who behave like that and have no etiquette no class and no manners I have to apologize for those people”

“I have only been here twice. Purchased once. I remember when they first opened I came to check it out. It was pretty well stocked then. I went there last week and it was stocked well with a lot of beers consisting of a good variety! I did not have time to look at the mixers for the hard liquor but they seem like they had a good variety of hard liquor as well. They have a pretty good selection of microbrews I've never heard of before. The owners are very nice! I would definitely come back again! And their prices are very reasonable. I would recommend this place! I do need to dive a little deeper into looking at their inventory. But so far I like what they're doing!”

“Everyone was so friendly. Our cashier had a arm brace on! He didn't miss a beat!!!! He rang us up quickly. He was funny and could sale cars off a lot. Not that he pushed us for sales. Just because of his kindness. The lady on the floor answered my million questions with a smile. Didn't say hey lady I'm tired of you!! She was very kind and a sweet soul. The lady cashier made small talk made us feel so welcome! These three really deserve some recognition. Thank you all for making our shopping experience pleasant”

They are friendly and greet you when you walk in and they remember all their local customers. They have chips, snacks, minor groceries, ice cream, candy etc. at all pretty reasonable prices.Their location makes it easy to drive (there is parking right out front) as well as walk (sidewalks through parking lot).I buy my smokes here too and it’s only about $1 difference than 7-11 and saves me a drive. No public bathroom.”

“Gets four stars because they carry the DRF (Daily Racing Form), and the people that work here are always nice. Other than that; it's your average, run-of-the-mill liquor store. Bit of this, bit of that, tobacco, porn, booze, etc...”

“Windsor Liquors is basically a liquor store. with foodnet selling almost everything next door, windsor just stacks single items of groceries, motor oil, chips, candies, etc. shelves looks like what you get at a garage sale. microbrews big bottles not many, many six packs not priced. most singles priced reasonably pour: jeremiah weed (southern style)lighting lemonade(23.5oz, 5.8%, 2.98total) -pretty good for a malt liquor, slight lemonade taste. not as strong as hard mike's 3 stars on draught: -store probably family runned -nice lady cashier -place reminds me of neighborhood store, nice ambience.”

“A few reviews about the lotto and something about porn. Idk y either would score the store low. They have an amazing selection of liquor with fair pricing and my guy Viki is the man. If you are into the whiskey scene and trying to find rare bottlings, it is definitely worth a visit.”

“It was our first time at round tables and we went there during lunch hour.Saw few people, wasn't too busy but still we said to ok let's try there pizza. We got Large pizza half BBQ chicken and half Garlic cheese; also we got spicy buffalo wings. Pizza was awesome ? really loved it! Wings was just ok for me as I could smell chillies and taste was not that good. Plus we had a 2year old with us and they didn't have anything for kids even upon asking if they do, not even just fries ?.Cashier (guy) was busy, he was serving at the counter and as well as helping in the kitchen. He's service was good!Overall I would say it's just a takeaway kinda place and unless you having beer ? ?. They have food and drinks!Cheers to whoever reads this ?Kid-friendliness: Not kid friendly place as they don't have anything for kids! I don't know why they even have kids chair!”

“I am so pleased with the recent changes at this location. I shop at this Safeway because it is close to my home and, with a disabled spouse at home, it's very convenient when my time is limited. Over the last 28 years, I have noticed a decline in safety, witnessed a number of shoplifters who would race out the door, reported a creep who was making sexual advances at women shoppers, and there was poor maintenance inside and outside the store along with increased wait times in checkout lines. By last year I would take the time to go into Castro Valley to shop at the two Safeway stores there, as I don't like the downtown Safeway. The recent changes have improved the Bancroft store to the point I am now happy to shop there. Security personnel look professional and appear competent; the single entry and exit discourages shoplifters; the store is cleaner and better organized; and the alcohol section has been moved closer to the checkout stands where it can be easily viewed. I am especially happy with the new self-checkout stations, which enable me to spend less time shopping. Today the checkout stands were busy with customers in line, all four self-checkouts were being used, and there was even a cooking demonstration. I am glad to see this store has improved and is thriving.”

“It's nice to see that we have new carts! New and improved carts! Gone are the clunky anti-theft wheels that are a major hassle for the store and didn't seem to work because the carts still disappeared. New idea. GPS locators on the carts! It will be interesting to see if this works. Maybe it'll lead us to the mother ship of cart chop shops. I have to think there is one(mother ship cart chop shop) due to the sheer volume of carts that this one store has "lost". Giving an extra star for the person that replied!”

“This is my main grocery store since I moved here. The store is clean and well stocked. The employees are always kind and willing to help if you can't find something. The deli department has great sandwich meat and the bakery has some seriously delicious looking cakes and breads. Their Italian bread is our favorite. The only cake I've tried is the tres leches and it was awesome. There are a lot of self check outs so the regular check out lines don't usually get too long.”
