“One of the best liquor store/ mini market great staff hella different type of hard alcohol to choose from and really cold beers..I like how there's plenty of parking foe someone to park.. and the vibe way better than other liquor stores I had been too.. and it closes at 2am.”
“I saw the video of those two clowns I'm so sorry you have to go through that that is exactly why I moved out of San Leandro it is sandwiched in between Oakland and Hayward and I've lived in both of those places I'm happy to be away from those who behave like that and have no etiquette no class and no manners I have to apologize for those people”
“Love it .
I always get all the alcohol I want in one place .
They also have juice ,limes and fruit if you're looking to do margaritas ?
Fair prices, too .The employees are friendly and ready to help any time.”

650 MacArthur Blvd, San Leandro“Small place with limited selection, but has most things I need. Closes later and opens earlier than other stores in the area, great for a late night run. dig it.”
“I have no clue why this place was marked as closed because I just came here last week. It has a good variety of mostly snacks and drinks and everyone is friendly. The prices are also pretty reasonable as well. I would totally come again next time I pass by.”
“I have only been here twice. Purchased once. I remember when they first opened I came to check it out. It was pretty well stocked then. I went there last week and it was stocked well with a lot of beers consisting of a good variety! I did not have time to look at the mixers for the hard liquor but they seem like they had a good variety of hard liquor as well. They have a pretty good selection of microbrews I've never heard of before. The owners are very nice! I would definitely come back again! And their prices are very reasonable. I would recommend this place! I do need to dive a little deeper into looking at their inventory. But so far I like what they're doing!”
“Good selection and fair prices for this part of town. You can get your Coors and Modelo all the way out to some fancy Russian river brews, and a pretty large, hard alcohol selection as well behind the counter.”
“** This is an LGBTQ+ and autism friendly store. **I love this local liquor store. They are friendly and greet you when you walk in and they remember all their local customers. They have chips, snacks, minor groceries, ice cream, candy etc. at all pretty reasonable prices.Their location makes it easy to drive (there is parking right out front) as well as walk (sidewalks through parking lot).I buy my smokes here too and it’s only about $1 difference than 7-11 and saves me a drive. No public bathroom.”
“Great customer service, all the variety that you can ask for ,and a work force with a code of ethics .last month I had for got my 350.00$ JBL BLU TOOTH SPEAKER when a week had gone by they told me I had left it.Thats special. Town& Country Liquors is 5 star and is in my personal hall of fame because of there ethics & Character!”
“One of the best liquor stores in the Bay Area they got the best selection . Everytime we go here we get treated like family . Worth driving the extra mile if you need to .”
“I Love this store this family run location is right in the heart of the manor across the street from our famous porkys pizza. The boys are very personable and kind they are knowledgeable of liquor and mixers and although a little pricey not too bad for the convienence.”
“Gets four stars because they carry the DRF (Daily Racing Form), and the people that work here are always nice. Other than that; it's your average, run-of-the-mill liquor store. Bit of this, bit of that, tobacco, porn, booze, etc...”

555 Bancroft Ave, San Leandro“I am so pleased with the recent changes at this location. I shop at this Safeway because it is close to my home and, with a disabled spouse at home, it's very convenient when my time is limited. Over the last 28 years, I have noticed a decline in safety, witnessed a number of shoplifters who would race out the door, reported a creep who was making sexual advances at women shoppers, and there was poor maintenance inside and outside the store along with increased wait times in checkout lines. By last year I would take the time to go into Castro Valley to shop at the two Safeway stores there, as I don't like the downtown Safeway. The recent changes have improved the Bancroft store to the point I am now happy to shop there. Security personnel look professional and appear competent; the single entry and exit discourages shoplifters; the store is cleaner and better organized; and the alcohol section has been moved closer to the checkout stands where it can be easily viewed. I am especially happy with the new self-checkout stations, which enable me to spend less time shopping. Today the checkout stands were busy with customers in line, all four self-checkouts were being used, and there was even a cooking demonstration. I am glad to see this store has improved and is thriving.”
“It's nice to see that we have new carts! New and improved carts! Gone are the clunky anti-theft wheels that are a major hassle for the store and didn't seem to work because the carts still disappeared. New idea. GPS locators on the carts! It will be interesting to see if this works. Maybe it'll lead us to the mother ship of cart chop shops. I have to think there is one(mother ship cart chop shop) due to the sheer volume of carts that this one store has "lost". Giving an extra star for the person that replied!”
“I come here almost every day or every other day since foodmaxx in the same complex has a rat issue (lol). Safeway is clean, and usually pretty well stocked. The bakery items are always delicious and the produce is pretty fresh. I hope it stays this way forever please!!”
“Nice wine selection and fabulous customer service. They also have a nice selection of craft beers and will special order for you if they don't have what you want. I am so happy to have a nice bottle shop in town!”
