JC Green was very responsive to my plugged sink/disposal issue! Customer Service at the office, response time, etc very professional. It is a family owned business. I also liked the "no shame" approach since I probably caused the problem myself! Would use them again in a heartbeat!

Great experience with this company! We had incredibly old plumbing in the house we purchased, and we'd spent a ton of money paying for commercial grade snaking. We consulted several companies in San Leandro and Oakland, and ended up going with JC Green. The front office was incredibly helpful and friendly, and the technicians who came for the quote and for the service were super professional. The job was done in one day, and they replaced the entire upper sewer lateral, and placed two new cleanouts.I'm sure this was no small job for them, as the piping from our bathroom to the street stretches across the entirety of our property. They did most of this job without digging, and only had to knock out and replace a small portion of our concrete driveway. The job was just under $7000. We are incredibly happy. It's been about 5 months since this job was done, and we haven't had a single issue. Before, we could only go about 30 days without having the pipes cleaned out professionally. So happy that we went with this awesome local business!

Romero was professional and friendly. The house didn't have any major plumbing issues, so the cost was reasonable.

Bathroom shower faucet was leaking and I called for a technician. They had an opening in the afternoon and I got a text reminder prior to the arrival. The techinican arrived on time, was knowledgeable and knew exactly what needed to be fixed. He was very honest about the costs and I opted to have him get the parts for me as well. Since it was the afternoon he didn't have enough time to finish the work on the day. Luckily he had an opening the next morning for repair. The next morning he showed up right on time again, and fixed my faucet in no time! It did cost me a few hundred dollars (labor and parts) for a shower faucet cartridge replacement, but I feel it is worth every penny for the punctuality, the experience and the professionalism. I would definitely recommend them again and bookmark them in case I need their service in the future.

Started with a clogged kitchen drain, went on Yelp to get estimates. On my project I told them that my drain needed to be snaked from the roof vent which is easily accessible with an 8 foot ladder and up 4 feet. I explained that the last time it was clogged that is how it needs to be unclogged. I know my house. Plumber gets here within the timeframe that was scheduled so that's 1 star. Says that he cannot go on the roof due to liability issues and that he can clear the clog through the kitchen drain cleanout and be done in 30 mins. The estimate was $250 so this was agreed upon because he said that he could clear it. He used 2 machines and 1 hour later, I still have a clog. The plumber did not listen to my wife, my wife and I redid our kitchen down to the studs. He said that our pipes are too thin and we need new pipes. Well what is thin is the vent pipe to the roof that is attached to the thick iron pipe. Because he was not able to clear the clog, he said the lowest that he could go would be $180. My wife did not have a choice so she paid it. No other solution just "it is still going to be clogged" and "you need new pipes." So I took it upon myself, I bought a snake from Amazon for $97 bucks, set up my ladder, and unclogged my drain it in 15 mins. I snaked it twice as well just for good measure. I also messaged the contact that I was communicating with and no response to say "we are sorry that we could not unclog your drain" "maybe we can refund you or send another plumber out to try again" Nothing. They were very responsive when I was a potential customer but now that they have already charged me they ignore my messages. Find another plumber or contact me. I think some training needs to happen. Listen to your customers, sometimes they know what they are talking about. In case this, I was 100% correct. JC Green Plumbing, do the right thing. Please reach out to me and make me whole. I understand that the plumber should be compensated for time spent but not $180 for a job not done.

We had a pretty serious leak in our home due to builders not correctly doing the plumbing and the had manifested underneath our hardwood floors. We called JC Green to help us locate the leak. When they found it and found the source of it, they explained everything to us clearly, and gave us options. They were super helpful in scheduling our appointment around my work schedule and they repaired the leak fast -- even installing a new relief valve that wouldn't require us to cut into sheet rock (which is how it was originally designed). As a result of the leak, we also had mold and they recommended a remediation company that we ended up going with as well (and they did a great job too!). JC Green is who we'll call for future plumbing issues. They were great to work with and great value.

Super disappointed. Felt with their “floating” pricing that we were being taken advantage of.They started off strong, great customer service. The tech assigned to our job was very professional and quickly isolated the problem. I was told, the cost to fix the issue was $850. This included him changing a valve that he recommend and installing a couple shut off valves on the piping to the water softener. He advised that we didn’t need to replace the PRV valve (Pressure reducing valve) considering another plumber just replaced it a few months ago.He did all of the above with no problem, his efforts increased the water pressure, however as he was cleaning up I noticed a small leak above the valve he just installed. He took off the valve and attempted to redo it but it wasn’t working for him. He proceeds to say that we should replace the entire pipe because his valve wasn’t bonding to the pipe and to replace the pipe would be an additional $500. I was a bit confused on why the pipe needed to be replaced, with the exception of the small leak, it seemed to bond with no problem.I did not authorize the pipe replacement and told him I’d think about it. Despite this, they removed the pipe and correctly installed the valve without a leak. They did not put back the PRV they removed. I was told he’d come back on Thursday to reinstall the PRV.My understanding was since it was getting late, it was a temporary fix so the home had water for the evening. On Thursday he comes back to reinstall the PRV they removed and was told it would be an additional $800… WHAT? Why should I have to pay an additional $800 for something they removed?Furthermore, he said that he’d replace the PRV with a new PRV that was exactly the same as what was there… yet on Tuesday he said it didn’t need to be replaced since it was only installed a couple of months ago. I was completely thrown off. Then he proceeded with an analogy of would you buy a refurbished iPhone or a new IPhone? He wasn’t going to install a used PRV. WHAT? I didn’t buy it from a used parts store….This strategy doesn’t make sense to me. They removed it on their own accord and not at my direction but want to charge me an additional $800 to put back something they removed? Something doesn’t seem right… As a result my home is without a PRV right now and I have no clue if it violates any requirements with the City of Livermore or HOA.In the end, I felt they were trying to take advantage of the situation. This is something they removed and should be responsible for putting it back. Really felt like I was being scammed.I hate leaving negative reviews but this wasn’t right. I hope this company reevaluates their process.

Came home from a 5 month hospital stay this week to discover a clogged kitchen sink and very low water pressure in the faucet. This being a holiday week, I was panicked and called a few places and left messages. JC Green Plumbing called me back within a half hour and arranged a plumber that day! Not only did he clear the clog but replaced a broken pipe which averted a potentially worse future problem. Flushed the pipes underneath and now I have a nice water flow--and all in about an hour. Extremely reasonable on the price, and the plumber was professional and pleasant. Thank you JC Green for helping make my post operative recovery so much easier. Will definitely use again.
