I've been a customer of theirs for over 8 years now and have purchased 2 engines and 2 transmission from Japan Engines. Both of my vehicles are still going strong with the most recent engine purchase. I know our Audi will be back on the road. I highly recommend this place

I have been using this company for 22 years. I have finally had enough with the dishonesty. I was sold a fb20 motor that was under 100k claims it has a 6 month warranty. Well the first motor has very low oil pressure so I contacted them about a replacement with in 65 miles. It took them 3 weeks then they finally sent a replacement. We get the replacement and have a shop install the motor for the customer. We start the car up and it has unforgettable rod knock. So I contact safety about this issue and he continues to tell me it’s something else claiming it’s the power steering pump. So I have the mechanic remove the serpentine belt and run the motor. Knock is still there it’s been 5 weeks and safety and Forrest have not called and made this right. I have spent over 30k in my career with this company and to be treated like this over a $2800 dollar motor. I will never buy from these guys again and will make sure none of my O’Reilly stores do the same. Safety I had more respect for you than you have shown me with this transaction. Hope the dishonesty is worth the 22 years of business lost.

They pull junk yard motors and sell them as "imported" I purchased a motor from these scammers and inside the valve cover was metal and dirt. They pressure washed it and spray painted it. I scrapped off the paint and looked up the vin. The vehicle was at a local picknpull.

I bought an engine and it didn't work, they gave me another engine and it doesn't work either, and since the warranty has passed, they no longer want to give me another engine. Don't buy from this company, pure thieves.

I own His and Hers auto in elko nevada and have used them several times with good results. If an issue arises which happens with used engines Jimmy steps up and makes it right.

Buyer bewear when purchasing engine from here, double check even triple check you are going to buy the right one. I called thursday morning to see if they had what i wanted and they said yes, called friday morning to confirm again and again they (Jimmy) said yes. I went in person and purchased the engine. I was told it would be here by Monday with free shipping. I get a call today Monday that it was the wrong engine and they have to reorder from LA and it would be here by Wednesday. Now i have no engine and my car is still at the shop pending engine and im getting charged these additional days. Now i have to cancel my order and buy from another place. What a waste of TIME. I wil never recomend anyone to this place.

So I called last week to inquire about a manual trans for an 02 RSX Type-S, spoke to Jimmy and was told it would be 1450 w/ a core exchange. Called again today to order it after customer finally oked the job and now its 1850 and now they don't take cores so now I gotta relay that back to my customer while the car continues to sit and take up space in my shop. I can see why they only have 2 stars, I recommend looking elsewhere instead of wasting your time.

I purchased a 22 re as a brand new engine from them fully assembled, and personally hired a MASTER ASE to perform the installation, but shortly after the installation process my engine is LEAKING OIL, after witnessing this when I was called to the shop, I am forced to request my mechanic to UNINSTALL the engine, after the uninstall I am shown in the digital images, and again at the shop, of the precise outlet of the OIL LEAK, rather than make the same mistake again, and swap it for another JAPAN ENGINE, I proceeded with a REFUND, of which was processed, but at the EXPENSE of delivering the engine back, and at the COST of my mechanic installing and uninstalling the engine, an overall SERVICE COST of over$ 1600.00 plus $ 300.00 for back delivery for something I was at no fault of. It was the one-time my friend gave me VERY GOOD ADVICE ahead of time, of which I did not heed to, that I ought to never purchase a BRAND NEW ENGINE anywhere but from an OEM FACTORY.
