I had an absolutely fantastic experience with the service provided at this establishment. Javier and his team exhibited exceptional qualities such as reliability, honesty, knowledgeability, friendliness, and most importantly, trustworthiness. Not only did they deliver on their promised timeline, but my car was ready precisely when they said it would be. I cannot express enough how satisfied I am with their service, giving them a perfect rating of 10 out of 10. I am so impressed by their performance that I will not hesitate to recommend this place to all my friends and family. Without a doubt, this has become my go-to service shop for all my automotive needs.

I was looking for a new mechanic since Jim's Automotive in Hayward retired after the pandemic, he was the best! If I can't fix it myself I take our 2004 Scion xB to a shop. It wasn't starting and the battery was 4 years old so I replaced it and it started right up! 3 starts later it wouldn't start again. So I figured starter or alternator? Looked them both up and not owning a belt tensioner for an alternator job I searched for a new mechanic. Found J&J online and gave them a call. After chatting with Javier I called AAA to get it towed there. Javier was professional and upfront. It was the starter and it was replaced and ready the next morning. Thanks J&J!

These guys are amazing. I'd been looking for a good honest mechanic near my home. Every place I went felt a little sketchy but J & J are an amazing father-son team that do things right. So thankful I've found my mechanic.

Went in first time before to change my brake and the service was great so I went in again today just to have them check on my cigarette lighter socket. Joel who was helping us was quick and honest, was transparent about their pricing and didn’t charge us as it took him just a bit to fix up the fuse. We’ll be a loyal customer and so glad we found this mechanic!!

I've been taking my car here for about 4 years now and they are consistently reliable, thorough, and most importantly, fair. I’ve never felt like they were trying to price gauge me in any way. Both Javier’s take the time to explain the issue(s) and the fix(es). Check 'em out!

I'm glad I found this place. I brought my car in for some weird performance/sound issue. A tech test drove my car and instantly knew what the issue was. I needed motor mounts replaced due to a recent accident. Javier at the front was very informative and kept me up to date during the whole process. I was nervous when I went to pick up my car a few days later. I got in and started it and drove away. It was back to normal. Great work. I will most definitely return for future service.

These guys are not only honest, but excellent mechanics as well. They also have the most reasonable prices in the area. I take my toyota hatch and my dodge van here whenever I need something and i've never had a problem afterwards.It's really hard to find an honest auto repair shop and one that also does great work, so i'm glad they're in San Leandro and just a 10 minute walk from my house.Highly recommend them!

I have used J&J multiple times, head gasket on my F-150, a rear axle on my 350z, replaced front control arm on my corolla, and now a clutch on my mustang GT. Haven't told him about the last one yet.Has ALWAYS been 1000% upfront about cost and has lowered the bill a few times saying "finished quicker then I thought, I only charge the time it takes"Best part, I've never brought a car back cause the problem wasnt fixed.I live an hour away and still bring my cars here.Services: Steering & suspension repair
