Beware!!! This company seems to defunct. Bought a TReO by iHear 10 months ago which died and am trying to contact the company for warranty reasons and all you get is a big "Sorry, you have been blocked" message. Emails also do not go through. Also facebook page has this message "iHEAR Medical assets including this page have reverted back to iHEAR for breach of agreements by Innerscope Hearing Technologies (INND)." Wouldn't buy this product even with the 80% discount offered by Amazon.

Completely an unreliable, untrustworthy company. I bought a product from them only 2 years ago. Hearing aids are supposed to last 3-7 years. Turns out, the company had revamped with a new name and address (it's now iHearDirect, not iHearMedical), and completely discarded their old products, meaning a lot of features are lost if you still own a product they no longer sell on their current website. The hearing aid I purchased (iHear HD) has a specific battery type that is only found on their company website. Since they no longer sell the hearing aid I bought (including the batteries, yet they still oddly sell the comfort tips), I sent three emails and got no replies. I managed to call, and the guy who picked up said they are doing rechargeable hearing aids now, but he will call me back if the batteries are back in stock, and he didn't even have info on the older product I own. It's been almost two months now, no answers, not even updates. If they are no longer selling the batteries, just say they aren't! Buy your hearing aids somewhere else, I would even suggest Amazon. Don't waste money on this site. It used to be dependable and customer service was once superb, but now, it's probably a failing company trying to make money.

Actually I Loved my micro in the canal hearing aids. I had an issue with the batteries. Andrew was a ROCK star! He sent me extra batteries FREE of charge and went well out of his way to make sure I was happy! Then I spoke with Tommy and he, too, went to bat for me. Now they are sending me a replacement pair! I dont know many companies that would do this ! I am so happy! Do yourself a favor and buy an incredible product that will increase the quality of your life. BUT also have faith in the people that are behind the product! Thank you Andrew and Tommy! and ihear!!!

I've been wearing ihear behind-the-ear hearing aids for 3 years now. When I bought them, I also bought the at-home hearing test kit to program the aids to my specific needs (one ear has much more hearing loss than the other). Anyone who buys any aid and doesn't go through a full hearing test to properly program those aids isn't seriously interested in hearing better. I can certainly tell a difference when wearing the aids. Do they make my hearing perfect? No, of course not. Hearing aids simply amplify sounds in the frequency ranges they've been programmed to be sensitive to, and in preselected proportions. In a noisy restaurant, they will amplify all voices. Sitting in my quiet living room, I'm often amazed I can hear the clock ticking from across the room. I've periodically ordered new supplies from ihear - mostly ear pieces which, from a sanitation standpoint, need to be replaced periodically. Never had any problem. I've been satisfied with theses aids and the cost was far more reasonable than most places. Initially I did test aids at Sam's Club and Costco, and found their aids to be no better than ihear and more expensive (although still reasonable).

I purchased the new EON hearing aids after previously purchasing the 2 sets of the MAX. I pre-ordered in October with estimated delivery date in early December. Delay after delay and lots of excuses later I finally received them in late February, They only come with size 9 and 12 in closed tips. The 9 being too small an the 12 being too big. I have left 3 voicemails and 3 emails over the past week with no response. So currently my new aids are just sitting. Horrible support. When I do hear from them I will be requesting a refund for the lack of support.

I purchased an iHear Max hearing aid in Decembrer 2020. I have been trying to get a RMA to return it and all I get is their answering machine and they do not respond to messages left. On their website they even give a partial phone number to get a RMA (see photo). I'm not sure they are even in business any more. By the way, the hearing "aid" was so offensive in sound it constantly created feed-back and a shrill sound of everything else. They say that you can get a programming cable ($$) reprogram yourself. Really? I'm gonna throw more money at a lousy 'aid' that doesn't work? I don't think so.

On 11/10 I ordered the rechargeable hearing aids that they emailed me they would ship by 12/11/20 which did not happen. Since before Christmas I have sent 3 or 4 emails & called on the phone. The phone call only gets a message that they are all busy & asks to leave a number for a call back. The only response I have received is an email on 12/17/20 that says my request is updated!!! They have had my money since 11/10/20 & I can not get even a reason why I haven't received at least an idea why they have not shipped.... Read More

Great product. I bought it for my dad. It fits perfectly and he is able to hear conversations in a noisy environment. Definitely would recommend the iHear TReO – much cheaper than traditional hearing aids.

I found the ease of programming and use to be outstanding. Also, customer service, and the ability to talk with a real person was great. For the price, these are excellent units.

Avoid this company. Quality of devices is marginal at best. Self programming system was designed by Mickey Mouse and is difficult to use and gives very poor results. Spent eight absolutely miserable months with devices walking out of my ears and was repeatedly told to wear sport locks to hold them in. Sport locks did not help. After eight months was told ear piece wires were too short. They offered to exchange them and said they were just phasing in the longer wires. The very next day they said they were "always available" and charged me for replacements. Customer service is extremely belligerent and consistently lies to cover their incompetence. A letter to their CEO was completely IGNORED.

Pretty good product at a good price. Recent support is very poor. Returned one of my two hearing aids for repair/evaluation 12 days ago and no results yet.
