I went to H&R Block paid them a sustainable fee for tax preparation, 2019 year picked up my customer copy and 4 years later I received a letter from the Franchise Tax Board, informing me that I never filed my 2019 federal taxes. Contacted the San Leandro, May 22, 2023 made a appointment to find out how this happen and all I got was excuses, we filed electronically and it rejected them, but you never contacted me in 4yrs, just excuses, then to top this off she reprinted the taxes after bring several things to her attention that were incorrect, had to ask for a copy of the corrected taxes. She placed the taxes in each envelope with a slip inserted in the window for Federal and state, I go to the post office on May 25, 2023, sent certified mail and envelop returned back to me today, which I had to sign for, address in window INCORRECT. THIS TAX PREPARER MUST BE THE DUMBEST WITCH ON THIS SIDE OF EARTH. Not only you didn't electronically file my taxes on time, now you can't even get the damn address correct where to mail them. I will be contacting your corporate office, Tax Advocate Group and the California Secretary of state office. H&R Block need to be out of business.

First time in 21 years doing my taxes at an H&R location. Vanessa was very friendly. She explained me everything in detail. I was satisfied with the service. I also signed up for an online account which offers me a lot of info and resources to keep my taxes organized.
