We had our bamboo hardwood floor installed last year in our new home. It was a white washed nice engineered. We had SPC luxury vinyl laminate from Factory Direct Floor in our condo before this job. Both floors were perfectly installed by nice crews Jose and the other crew maybe named Fong. The Sale manager Ken and Tom who retired after our condo job were also both professional and knowledgeable. We will be back and also refer anyone we know who need flooring.

Misleading and Dishonest PracticesI recently had an unfortunate experience with Factory Direct Floor and I feel compelled to share my disappointment. The owner initially appeared pleasant and accommodating, but my encounter with their services left much to be desired.Firstly, the floor we received was noticeably thinner than what was showcased in their showroom. It was disheartening to discover such a discrepancy between expectation and reality. It's essential for businesses to accurately represent their products to avoid misleading customers.Furthermore, during the installation process, we were informed that the cost would be $2.5 per square foot. However, things took an unexpected turn when they insisted on additional charges of $3.5 per square foot for extra plywood. This sudden increase in price brought the final cost to an exorbitant $6 per square foot. It felt like a bait-and-switch tactic, leaving me feeling deceived and taken advantage of.To make matters worse, I later discovered that the extra plywood removal only took them a mere hour, yet they charged a staggering $700 for this service. This raises serious questions about their pricing practices and their commitment to honesty and transparency.I find it deeply disheartening that the owner, who initially seemed amicable, has proven to be anything but honest. It's crucial for businesses to uphold integrity and deliver on their promises. Regrettably, my experience with Factory Direct Floor fell far short of these expectations.I hope sharing my experience serves as a cautionary tale for others who may consider utilizing their services. It's vital to approach this establishment with caution, thoroughly examine their products, and demand transparency regarding any additional charges.

We are very happy with our new flooring from Factory Direct Floor. Ken & Danny were very patient with me as I needed lots of guidance to make my decisions. We got our master bedroom and upstairs hall and staircase done. The installers were great too - they arrived on time and did a great job and were polite and cleaned everything up when they were done. They even vacuumed everything! Thanks again!

Had a great experience with the Factory Direct. I got quotes for a hardwood refinish from a few different companies in town. After CY came by to take a look at my floors and give me a quote, I knew I wanted to work with them. He made some great observations and recommendations on his walkthrough that made me confident in the company as a whole. Their quote was incredibly competitive and made my decision to choose them for the project really easy. The floors turned out great and their efforts to keep the space clean were obvious. Would absolutely go to them again for future flooring needs.

Wang and his team did a great job installing hardwood flooring for us. They were able to make an appointment on short notice and did a clean job. When I had a question about the project, they were friendly and able to help out. Highly recommend!

Repeat customer at Factor Direct Floor. Six years ago, they advised me on floating wood flooring, and I have been super pleased with what I bought from them. Last month, we had a significant water event which meant that half of that beautiful floor had to be replaced. I went back to to FD and Ken and crew saved the day. They still had the same floor in-stock, and installed it in a day, neatly matching against what remained. Couldn't be happier. Nice people.

I worked with Ken. Super helpful and super nice. He made the experience less stressful and was great at recommending pieces to match. Found some great flooring for a wonderful price on sale. I would recommend this place to everyone. He also answered or returned every call and answered every question which is a big deal with places like these. Give them a try you won't regret it! I recommend using this company Factory Direct Floor based off of our experience.

We love our new French Oak floors! Ken at Factory Direct Floor was very helpful, knowledgeable, and spent a lot of time across multiple visits to walk through the details and advise on our flooring selection. Our installers were awesome - CY and the crew. They took extra time and effort to make sure we were happy with every detail and were very fast, thorough, and easy to work with. Communication was great from start to finish. The Oak product really comes across as something special and not your typical floor you see everywhere else. Happy to support local small businesses too - would definitely recommend!

We went to Floor and Decor and were very overwhelmed with its sheer size. We had a customer service person walk up to US and she asked if she could help us. Her name was Milan. She was FANTASTIC and very KNOWLEDGEABLE!!! If you ever go to this store ask for her. She guided us to all the correct areas of flooring that we needed. She also helped us make an invoice to have the products at another location near San Diego, which is where the rental property is. We couldn't have done it with such ease of it weren't for Milan. Milan if you are reading this, you deserve a RAISE! Thank you. You are the best.

I have been using Factory Direct Floor for the last 10 years on my custom residential jobs and they never disappoint! David and Jasmine are always available, responsive, and considerate my needs and the needs of the job. Very nice show room and the best installers. All around great people, great company, and great experience.

Highly recommended! Excellent service and knowledge of product. And - most importantly - their installation crews are first rate! Over several stages I had them floor my entire house. I accidently damaged my floor and they were out for expert repair. I recommend them for any flooring job.

Edited to add responses to Tommy's comments:1. The Yelp deal was redeemed at signing and paying for our flooring. In the office. 2. Look closer at the driveway - that's white dusting ALL over. It was also all over the garage, and all over the flooring and hallway inside the house. Never had someone come work on our house and not even attempt to clean up after themselves. 3. The issue with the molding border is that you tried to charge us for having it installed in the color of our flooring, when no other option was other explained or given to us. 4. The uneven flooring was pointed out to us AFTER the installation, NOT before. That wasn't even tile you're looking at in the before picture as you claim - it's vinyl. So, I don't think you'll get a better deal on your flooring in terms of price. But price isn't everything when you're getting work done on your house. Our installers came on time and we're courteous. They worked very quickly. But they seemed to not be in good communication with the office and had no copy of what we were getting done in our house.Our Yelp coupon (redeemed the day we paid in the office) gave us a free border in the room we were getting our flooring in. The installers knew nothing of this and there was a lot of back and forth before they finally received the okay from the office. Next, when the work was completed, they showed us areas where there was uneven flooring feeling (almost like a give below the flooring) which made our wood-like floors feel like they were squishy and they bobble a bit back and forth. Unfortunately this happened around most of the flooring spots which is a high walking area. They had no idea how to make this better for us. It's really weird to walk on them. At the end of the day, they did not clean up after themselves. It was dusty and dirty and the floors had a thick film of saw dust all over them. Our driveway was filled with debris that was also left without care. The installers let us know they'd have to come back the next day to install the borders. They came back as promised, on time. As soon as they were done, we received a bill for the borders and an added charge for the borders being dyed to match our new flooring. We knew nothing of them needing to dye them, let alone that there would be a charge for it. They forgot about the Yelp coupon in the final billing as well. We had to go back and forth again about whether or not we should have to pay for the dying of the free borders. They ended up "gifting" this to us, but it was only because I was persistent about it.High marks for promptness and pricing. They also weren't pushy in upselling us (but rather on the opposite end of the spectrum where they showed little interest in us). Low marks for quality of work, cleanliness, and communication.

Factory Direct Floor has been great. Ken has been fantastic. It is like he had been to our house and already knew what colors. We walked in handed an old piece of carpet and Ken pulled out 3 samples. The one we purchased matched perfectly. He communicated well with our installer. He keep us updated on every step. There prices are very competitive. The next time we need flooring replaced we will be head to Factory Direct to make our selection.
