Made us fill out a 30 minute questionnaire including every single product (make up and skin care) that we use to check for ingredients that can cause break outs before the appointment and then proceeded to ignore it and tell us to look everything up ourselves.
The advice was all just blanket advice and consisted of avoiding just about everything. No sugar, no salt, no oil, no tofu/soy products, no sunlight, no dairy, no exercise, no sweat, no wind, no waxing, etc. It wasn't pinpointing any issue or trying to find what makes my wife break out.
We noted early on that my wife would be trying to get pregnant in the next year and was taking prenatal vitamins and their suggestion was to stop taking prenatals. I get that we're here for skin services, but you need to realize that our future baby is more important than anything you're doing. They're advice wasn't sensitive or tailored to the client at all, it was 100% generic. We also noted that my wife has had a bad history with benzoyl peroxide and they just straight up ignored it because their product line doesn't have options to go without it. The advisor straight up told my wife that she had to "get over that".
The entire talk also just felt very salesy. It was come every 2 weeks, pay us a ton of money, and buy and only use all of our products. They were like "oh as long as you avoid x, y, and z you're fine" and then proceeded to try to make us sign a contract limiting us to only using their products even if others could be okay.
Also, they try to act as a doctors office, but then had the galls to ask for a tip! This establishment is exactly what's wrong with tipping culture these days.

I struggled with acne for as long as I can remember. December 2022 I noticed it getting out of control and really starting to affect my mental health. I scheduled a consultation and got started on my Face Reality journey. It's been a year of progress and I am beyond happy with my results, and the friends I've made at the clinic. My esthetician Monique has worked with me over the course of this past year and gotten my skin almost unrecognizable. Working with painful, cystic acne in the beginning Monique has always made even the extractions as enjoyable as they can be. She is very knowledgeable and has never left any of my questions unanswered. I have learned so much from her and we always have great conversation during my treatments. Every time I come into Face Reality for a treatment or to pick up products I always get a very warm welcome from Belle at the front desk. It is a very welcoming environment to be in from the first day, and it's been so comforting to have such amazing people to be on this journey with me. I look forward to coming in for my treatments and seeing the amazing staff and catching up with Belle and Monique who have been there throughout my entire skin transformation. Would 100% recommend coming here to anyone who struggles with acne. I'll tell anyone that will listen about my experience here--recommending Monique for anyone who is feeling defeated by their acne and wants someone knowledgeable, light handed, patient, and kind to go on a skin clearing journey with. Obsessed with face reality products and this main clinic. I've been using the skincare products for YEARS. I've seen a few different estheticians here and everyone is truly amazing. Recently met with Damaris and I had such a great time. Thanks for keeping my skin in tip-top shape!

I've been going to see Lisa at this clinic for the last 6 months after I had the worst breakouts of my life. Fast forward to now, Lisa and face reality products have helped me get my skin finally clear and maintained. She has been amazing every time I see her, so knowledgeable and always willing to help with either making changes to my routine or just giving me advice and education on all the products I should be using. So far everything she has recommended me have worked tremendously and I couldn't be more thankful! After coming here, I've finally gained a lot of the confidence that I lost when I was breaking out and I have Lisa and face reality to thank for that! Definitely recommend to anyone having problems with their skin.

We absolutely love Face Reality. My daughter had severe acne at 13 years old and we had tried many things but none of them worked. Within 6 months, she was acne clear and now we just need to treat the scaring. Monique was phenomenal and a Godsend with her patience, advice and understanding. My daughter started smiling again and regained her confidence.

Can't believe this clinic's unprofessional practice. I made an appt for a facial and took the morning off from work , drove 45 mins in morning traffic, and made it in time to be told "oh by the way, since you haven't purchased any active products in a while, your appt will be changed to a consultation instead." Excuse me? You couldn't tell me this complete change of appointment type over the phone when I made the appt? Or perhaps during a confirmation call (which I never received)? Or even this morning? I came bc I need a facial before an important event and now I've wasted gas and my time. (Mind you--I still have active products from my last purchase bc I've had to use very little now that I'm fairly cleared up. But coooooool...you have zero respect for your clients.) If that's your policy, then you should inform me immediately instead of just changing my appointment at YOUR CONVENIENCE. The right thing to do would've been to respect my time but wow....who does this? Who raised you??? I'm shook. Don't go here--there's plenty of other practices using facereality products that doesn't have so much esthetician turnover anyway.

Extremely disappointed and turned off with my experience at the face reality clinic in Danville, they do not care about their customers they only care about squeezing as much money as they can from you. I have been a loyal customer to face reality for years. I see a face reality esthetician who gave me a routine with the right products that will work for me and have spent thousands on treatments/products. Since my esthetician doesn't sell these products anymore I came in to pick up some more products from the Danville clinic but the older clinic manager Amy Jo Lustan was trying to force me into purchasing an unnecessary $90 consultation in order for me to purchase the same products I have been using and recommended by my face reality esthetician. This is ridiculous as she would not allow me to purchase the products without also paying for an unnappointment first just to be recommended the same products again. I am a college student and drove very far hoping to have a good experience here but after this interaction I would never recommend anyone to go to face reality as it is a big SCAM. Amy showed deep lack of compassion and made my customer experience extremely unwelcoming and upsetting. I will also be letting all my friends in the skincare community know about my experience. We should support businesses that truly care for their customers and face reality has been a scam from the beginning.

I started with LaToya at face reality about 5 months ago. I've been trying to deal with adult acne on my own for years but LaToya has been a game changer! She knows her stuff, is gentle, and makes the appointment so relaxing and enjoyable. I'm so happy with my results and flaunting a much clearer face!

This place has been a game changer for me and my skin. First off my aesthetician Lisa, is not just the most amazing and talented and knowledgeable employee but also a wonderful person. I have been working with her for the last 6 months and my journey to clear skin has been wonderful. She guided me through skin care routine on every visit. Did a whole bunch of acne clearing stuff on each visit that made my skin feel lighter and healthy. I have been suffering from acne for the last 15 years and have seen multiple doctors . Anyone who has acne must have done the same and knows the pain of taking antibiotics, putting multiple topical creams, and all to no avail. The treatment I was given at this clinic changes everything from day one. Their treatment plan is very transparent with no hidden costs. Their goal is to help your skin and help you feel better about your health. They don't pressure you to visit more often to make more money. Instead after a few visits they will recommend infrequent visits and give very tailored skin treatment. Their products work very well as they are custom to each patient's needs. It's totally worth investing time and money with them. My signing off comment: Your skin wil start feeling lighter , non greasy and healthy as soon as you start. And you will see visible results in 3-4 weeks. I highly recommend this place!

I love this clinic. It's so nice and luxury inside. My estheticians name is LaToya she is literally thee best. She is a girls, girl! It feels like she's a true girlfriend you can go to an chat and just relax. I never miss my facials because it feels so welcoming in this environment and most of all my face has cleared up completely. I've suffered bad acne since I was a child, and used every topical and every pill, including Accutane! And nothing worked. Accutane worked for sometime but when you are on it your liver suffers, you can't get pregnant or you'll have to abort. & once your off of it you can suffer side effects, and the acne can come back which in my case it did! But not on these products at face reality!! The heavens smiled upon me when I found FaceReality!! Omg and the great things that I can say about this clinic is endless. The staff is amazing, the treatments work, I'm happy my face is beautiful I get so many compliments daily and I'm happy to recommend this clinic to anyone suffering. I'll update with photos soon!

It is absolutely true what all the other reviewers are saying.. this place is a real miracle worker! I had clogged pores EVERYWHERE, there was a point where I had given up because nothing seemed to work. I started my journey in late May with Latoya, who is SO amazing! I started seeing improvement just after the first couple of visits. I stuck to my routine religiously and made sure to change out all my pore-clogging products. A few months later and my face is so smooth. Latoya is my cheerleader when it comes to my progress. She really is the best, thanks girl!

This review is about Face Reality Products, not this particular clinic. The products are very strong, and if not used correctly, they can damage skin. Face Reality \"certifies\" aestheticians and then sells them the products. Not all aestheticians follow appropriate procedures. A family member's skin was severely damaged by using these products. When brought to attention of corporate, there was a \"sorry\" but not much else. Just Beware!
