The salespeople are all very nice and welcoming. I have never had any issue in all the years I've been going there. I've been an EF fan for many years, but I'm going there less and less because the colors are always the same as well as the style. Multitudes of t-shirts and the same style, over and over and over again. Years ago I purchased some things that had a bit of style, but now I just can't keep going there and seeing nothing but mainly black and white t-shirts. Is EF actually designing anything? Give us something new, different. Anything! Many fabrics are beautiful, but they don't wear. I have so many sweaters and they all pill, some very quickly. They really aren't worth the price.

Love Eileen Fisher clothes and am very happy that the only west coast outlet is close by in San Leandro. I always know what to wear, Eileen makes it easy. Have spent hundreds of dollars over the years but the fabrics are worth it. That she accepts all used clothing back for $5 each garment is another plus. Returned a few and got $60 credit. My friend who lives in So Cal always has me take her to Eileen's after I pick her up at oakland international Airport.

I happened upon these reviews while looking for the store hours and feel compelled to chime in. From the Peninsula, I've been stopping here on my way to the East Bay forever. Is the service great? Rarely. Do I care? No. It's an outlet -- right? Do you want to wear EF at a discount or not? If you want "better" service, then drive to EF in Palo Alto or The City and shop there. You can get some faux-friendly assistance and you'll pay a mint. Those who are expecting impeccable service are forgetting how much these salespeople are being paid. I say: self serve as-needed and get over it. And anyone who disses the clothing .... well, perhaps EF is simply not for you. But are the clothes "worth it'? Obviously they are. We purchase in a market economy and people line up to buy them. Natural fibers or not (they do both), the clothing is versatile, easy to wear and complement a moving and changing body. They have some killer fabrics and interesting silhouettes. Pack a single EF outfit and you're good to go (travel) for a week. So glad this place is here. ps I'm an old white lady and my sense is that I don't get better service than anyone else.

Apparently I had to be on some errand that caused me to be in the area a number of times. So I must stop in. The selection is of course not that awesome but I've occasionally caught an epic sale.

It looks good and staff is helpful, but everything is so expensive and the material feels like its lower quality, especially compared to Ann Taylor which is right next door. Maybe they have some interesting styles but nothing caught our fancy.

In general this store is great. But your experience can vary based on the help you receive from staff. The last employee I interacted with was beyond incompetent and said she was a manager. The clothing is very nice, and sometimes very affordable.

I'm reading some of the reviews and am a bit surprised. My Eileen Fisher experience has always been great; I've never had an issue with assistance. When they get busy with a good sale yes you might wait a few minutes for a dressing room but it's not that long. The clothing for Eileen Fisher outlet is well priced, I wouldn't be able to afford Eileen Fisher otherwise. In a retail store it is expensive but the quality is timeless and comfortable. For those women that fluctuate in size like me (especially during the pandemic) this clothes brand is forgiving and you still look put together.

I'm a fan of this store. It's an outlet for a high end brand. It's I think the only one of it's kind in the Bay Area? I'm in my early 40s, and am starting to change my style of clothing. Trying to aim for a clean look. Eileen Fisher achieves that for me. I can't afford to buy more than one item at a time, however, I'm always excited to go shopping here. Just signed up for their email list, because I want to get that extra discount. Located off the freeway, you can pop in and out if you like. This place is always busy with customers flowing in and out. Note, if you need a bathroom, Nordstrom Rack has one, and outside of Starbuck across the parking lot.
