They are an honest business. Duprees has been in business for years and its family owned and they have layaway. I have Duprees furnishings in almost all of our house and it is good quality furniture. Duprees furniture is not glued or stapled like Brothers Furniture. I just wish they would hurry and open. They have an emergency and I hope everything is alright with Mr. Bill.

I bought a living room set and a dining set the living room set broke on the side of the arm within 60 days I called and asked if they have anyone that could repair the sofa and they said the guy had passed away. The living room set the leather on the chairs are just ripping holes in them. You can see them coming apart. I will never buy anything again.

So surprised there aren't more reviews of this wonderful family-owned store. I'd been looking for a light wood bedroom furniture set in other places without any luck until I walked into Dupree's. The friendly, knowledgeable, and professional manager Serena tuned me into the Garnol furniture line and they are exceptional -- everything is *custom-built* from pine and *made locally in Fresno.* That is virtually unheard of anymore. They have several wood stain options and I finally found the light wood I had been looking for. If we had more room in the house I would have ordered other pieces, like a small lingerie dresser or long chest of drawers. But between my tall dresser, headboard, and matching mirror, I am so thrilled. You can smell the fresh pine, and the woodwork, craftsmanship, and staining are beautiful and classic. We also found a lovely sculpture from their broad collection in the store. Since the Garnol line is custom, it took 2 weeks to build the furniture, which is not bad at all (compare this to LaZBoy, where we had to wait *3 months* for a new sofa set). I'd also like to commend Serena for her excellent communication and diligence. There were some delivery delays due to drivers' schedules, and she kept me updated the entire time and was so apologetic, even though it wasn't her fault. Ultimately, the furniture arrived a day or two later (not a terrible delay at all) and it went smoothly. So pleased with this beautiful new furniture and the top-notch service at Dupree's. Buying local always makes a world of difference; not only is the quality excellent, but you get to support a small family business (they've been around ~50 years) and local furniture makers. Doesn't get better than that. Thank you so much!

Dupree's always have great options, best prices, customer sevice, and delivers when they say they will. I have purchased many sets from Serena and Pops (Bill) so it feels like a family deal everytime.

Last year I bought a sofa and reclining chair from Dupree's. The prices are reasonable, the selection is great, the service is excellent, and delivery was when they said it would be! I'd definitely come here again for any other furniture needs!

I also love to support my local small business but Duprees will not be one of them. I ordered a couch and loveseat set. It took approx 10 weeks to get the set. Once recvd the love seat was damaged and now I have waited another 6 weeks for Duprees to tell me that it is still in production. Fair or Foul??? My first experience and definitely my LAST!!!!!!. The customer service is lousy. Worst experience ever. I am so ready for a refund. What furniture place do you know takes 16 weeks to get a set of furniture.

I didn't feel welcomed when I entered.The Furniture is overpriced and outdated particle board - no real or solid wood pieces. I prefer to shop small local, businesses but in this case, I'll just go to IKEA.
