I took my RV to Cummins because of my. Generator was shutting off by itself. Cummins worked on it, the Manager was great, the front desk was great. Thank you Cummins. My generator is running great. Because they had to take it out and run it for several hours, the repairs werea lil bit more than I wanted pay, but a generator that isnt reliable could really mess up your plans and cause you heartache. I had to bring my van there for recall service. I hadn't had a problem with my generator, but recall said I needed hoses and gaskets serviced at Cummins to prevent fuel leaking. Two months after service, my generator leaked fuel. Took it back. Was told they hadn't put gaskets on correctly, but they fixed that. I checked to make sure it wasn't leaking before I drove away, but didn't check to make sure it was all hooked up. They must've disconnected the generator, because it's not connected now, and power doesn't go to van. I'm beyond angry at this point. I had to drive 1 1/2-2 hours each way, twice, and now I'll have to figure out how to fix what they messed up, because I'm absolutely not driving there again.

$250 an hour for labor to move at a glacial pace. This business truly deserves to be reported to the Better Business Bureau... and you know .. they still wouldn't care. Got service from them 3 times. Every. single. time. Has been a disappointment, headache and a complete waste of money. It's so tough bc there is a lack of generator repair places in the Bay Area and so these people have a monopoly on the services.They work at SNAIL pace. For example a job that takes ONE person at a small mechanic 45 minute to do. Takes a team of 2-3 people 2 hours to finish here. You manage to get a hold of person to even MAKE an appt? Oh boy good job. They staff one person (Bob) to handle calls... you do the math. Once you get to your appointment, be prepared to wait another 1-1.5 hrs. Because timeliness and punctuality mean nothing to them. MAKE SURE YOU HAVE A PAPER TRAIL OF ALL COMMUNICATIONS WITH THEM. Email... have what you need to prove dates and time. I had to dispute with my credit card company and only then were they semi responsive. Do NOT come here, I repeat. They are grifters, irresponsible, slow, lack of accountability, lack of attention to detail and one of the worst businesses I have had to deal with for the last two years.

Great experience with this business. Bob the service manager was able to squeeze us in for an appointment as we had a long drive from our location. John on the day of our appointment John got us situated quickly. Rene and Ynasia were great in trouble shooting our on board RV generator. Determined it was a faulty circuit board. My husband and I were impressed with Rene's thoroughness and attention to detail. Best part of all the part we needed was in service and was covered under warranty. Overall a GREAT experience and highly recommend working with this company. Everyone was polite and professional. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

Completely disappointed about the job. RV Cummins generator stopped working from one day to next. First it took 2 weeks, several unanswered call and an unnecessary battery check to find a trivial error like a stuck motor. In fact I had told the service guy when I dropped it off that I assumed a stuck motor. I brought the RV to a Cummings service expecting professional help. That it took an incompetent technician over 2 hours to fix an issue, which could have been done in 10 minutes by a knowledge person, it is just ridiculous. Even more is the audacity to charge for that incompetence $500. The shop should be ashamed about the quality of its service. The service manager Bob is just useless. Don’t go there, customers are just rip-off targets. Bay Area at it’s best.

I have had a Cummins Liquid cooled Generator for 5 years. The unit is amazing along with the professional crew of people that make it happen. Matt, Angel, Jacque, and Ginelle to name a few. Thanks again for your attention to detail.

Website says they are open until 5pm but they are not. They close at 4pm. After driving over an hour to come pick up a part, I see that they changed their business hours on the door. They should update their website to reflect the changes.

Was able to fit my RV into their schedule on an emergency basis. Diagnosed quickly and serviced timely. It's a shame San Leandro is only Cummins service location in entire Bay Area. Would highly recommend.

Originally scheduled service for Oct 2021. Tech never showed up. Have been trying to re-schedule ever since. The last communication Jacqueline sent me was on Nov 10, 2021 asking me to give her a few days. Calls and e-mails have not been returned ever since.
