The fact that it says walk ins welcome but you need an appointment... I ordered tires online so I had no idea when they would come and they came early but I still have to wait until next week to get them put on and my tires are so bad it's a safety hazard, the false advertising is very annoying and honestly feel like they could be sued for that. I might post another review when I come back to get the tires put on but we'll see how that goes I'm just super disappointed and annoyed. This would have been done if I had went somewhere else :(

My appointment was at 3:00pm and told my car will be ready in 1:30- 2:00 hrs , however I picked up my car by 6:45pm. And the worst part is after I left the tire shop and entered the highway my tire got flat.

The guys here are awesome. I had an appointment at 6pm, they took me in early and diagnosed that my tire only needed a repair rather than replacement. I truly don’t understand the bad reviews and I bet that it’s more a reflection of people without appointments and/or didn’t order their tire before showing up for an appointment.

I want to thank Rick who assisted me during my tire change. He is very knowledgeable with outstanding customer service demeanor. I highly recommend costco san leandro. All of them were friendly that I have to travel to this place just to have my tires fixed all the time. Keep up the good work guys. Kudos to Rick.

It's so busy. Best bet is to make an appointment. They're helpful & efficient. Can't beat the price & warranty for tires cause, you know, it's Costco!

Go to any other bay area location. Not this one. The idea of "customer service" is foreign here. I had to take my tires ordered online to be installed up to Richmond Costco. He told me that walking were not possible to install one tire, but an employee needed a flat fixed and it was not an issue. This location needs a full lobotomy. Costco ain't bad, just some employees

Made an appt for 10am, dropped my car off at 10am. Was told it would be a 1hr job for 4 tires to be changed. Left to roam costco for 2hrs. Came back 2hrs later and nothing was done. When I asked about it, all of a sudden someone was available to work on the car. I am upset by the situation. Wouldn’t recommend this location

The worst service, I came and told him buy my new tires and they gave me an appointment, then when I came to install them he told me that he doesn't do it because I don't buy them with them, then because they gave me the appointment and on the paper he said, customer bring hee own tiress. the worst place and service

Service was excellent. Made an appointment a few days ahead. They had me in and out in under 90 minutes. Just about the amount of time it took me to get my shopping done.

They are severely understaffed. I waited in line 15 min before they opened and they opened late. 1 person was there to open and they took 5 people in line who had appointments. Half an hour after opening, I still have not helped as there are 2 people in front of me and they haven't helped either of them. HIRE MORE STAFF! This is ridiculous!!!

Bought tires from here 3 months ago and the tires wore out in 6000 miles. Keep in mind my old tires were dry rotated for over a year. Those tires lasted a full year since the purchase of the vehicle. The guy at the front desk said “sorry I’m not a mechanic” the last thing you want to hear from someone working on your vehicle. Never taking a vehicle back to these guys.
