Terrible!
My tire rotation was 12 noon. I dropped off at 11:30am. Did some shopping at costco. Waited for too long without calls from tire center. Called them many time with no answer. I decided to check out and came to the tire center at 2:30 PM and found out they even haven’t touched the tires yet. 3 hours from the drop off time. 2 and half from appointment time. Don’t know what to do but typing these review.

Good prices and complimentary services, but the wait is extremely painful even with an appointment. Be prepared to spend half a day at least.

Worth Costco tire shop ever! Rude employees, very slow service, I still don’t get it why I made appointment if they after 1h 45 min they even started work on my car. Unbelievable, very disappointing

Service people are slow and somewhat rude. They don't have branded tires inbthe center and need to order online, then they make you schedule a week out when the tires are delivered in like 2days! They do the job decently quick, they said they will call but I didn't end up getting a call and had to go to the service place to see if it's done after wasting 2hours as they suggested time. They leave your trunk in a mess when returned, they also change out your tire caps with cheap plastic caps and when i asked for the original they hesitate and delayed for up to hour going back forth and gave me old and worn out caps that weren't even my car's original caps, when I told them those weren't mine, I know what my caps feel and look like cause I've been handling them everyday their response is "next time take the cap off before taking them in"??? Why would we have to do that in the first place?!?!?
Disappointed, the service people don't seem to want to do their job and lack responsibility. If you don't like your job don't work there. Definitely not a recommended to get tire service here.

Today is the last time I will get tires at this Costco. I had to endure Jonathan twice and on both occasions he has been rude to me. First time he was rude was because he did not like the time that was offered on the appointment schedule online. He told me why did I have to choose that time. Also gave me weird looks when I asked about wait times.
Today I had to endure him again! I got to my appointment a few minutes before to check in. The guy in front of me wanted to talk about tires due to a flat (I prior encounter was due to a flat I was told to buy the tire online put in the make/model/year ect pick the tires and once they came in to make an appointment) Jonathan was spending over 10 min with this guy figuring out what tire he can get and what appointments are available. I ask if he can check me in because I am late for checking in now. He told me to have patience and he is helping this guy out. I told them both I also had a flat and was told to buy my tire on line, so I wasn’t sure what the special treatment was. The guy ended up not getting a tire and was going to order it online. Then when he was finally able to help me he was grabbing at my paperwork I asked why he wanted my membership number I gave him my card. When I asked him how low till it will be done he said we have till 8:30pm I was like ok. Just rude! It was 6:55pm now. Decided to slowly brows and shop. I went back and my car was not done till 8:40pm so he lied! If he could just communicate a little bit and say we have 10 cars in-front of you and it take X time to do your car I would appreciate it but he rather be rude. I am not sure what this guys problem is.

If you will get a flat tire be ready to wait 2 weeks to get it fixed by the warranty.

Worst Experience i was told by my friends its easier to get tires from Costco i made appointment 3 weeks ago and dropped car at 9 am and they told me it will be ready in one and half hour its 11 they have not touched it thats annoying its not walking in its appointment and the guy in Bridgestone shirt has no customer service sense he said we will call u if we Re behind more than 1 and half hour no calls were made still

It is a personal opinion, I believe that our attitude is essential if we are friendly, they treat us in the same way. I recommend that if it is within your means, you use this certification because it is a guarantee that it is excellent work and very good quality.

The fact that it says walk ins welcome but you need an appointment... I ordered tires online so I had no idea when they would come and they came early but I still have to wait until next week to get them put on and my tires are so bad it's a safety hazard, the false advertising is very annoying and honestly feel like they could be sued for that. I might post another review when I come back to get the tires put on but we'll see how that goes I'm just super disappointed and annoyed. This would have been done if I had went somewhere else :(

My appointment was at 3:00pm and told my car will be ready in 1:30- 2:00 hrs , however I picked up my car by 6:45pm. And the worst part is after I left the tire shop and entered the highway my tire got flat.

The guys here are awesome. I had an appointment at 6pm, they took me in early and diagnosed that my tire only needed a repair rather than replacement. I truly don’t understand the bad reviews and I bet that it’s more a reflection of people without appointments and/or didn’t order their tire before showing up for an appointment.

I want to thank Rick who assisted me during my tire change. He is very knowledgeable with outstanding customer service demeanor. I highly recommend costco san leandro. All of them were friendly that I have to travel to this place just to have my tires fixed all the time. Keep up the good work guys. Kudos to Rick.
