Called this place for almost a year and even when I was a domestic violence victim and homeless they still refused to help me. Fast forward, I've gotten help and housing through a whole other program that helped me with no hesitation. They're very picky on who they choose to help. When you call, they direct you to other places. You'd most likely have to be referred here by a social worker or someone in that caliber otherwise, they're not going to help you.

Proud to be associated with this agency for 20 years. They have helped so many individuals and families. Shelter stays are for as long as is needed. And their focus on housing is so important.

I stayed at this shelter for almost a year. I moved to another state. Four months after I left the shelter, Francesca Payne, contacted CPS in my state and attempted to utilize them as a weapon. I encourage you to direct your donations, monetary and tangible elsewhere. I give them one star because my children had somewhere to sleep at night. For that I am appreciative. I can and will never understand when people abuse their authority and power. Fortunately for me, I am a good mom and I take great care of my children so her report went nowhere, but it is unsettling to think that an entity that is supposed to help families is hell bent on destroying them.

I was recommended to this place by 211 Ally Vega was the lady was over my case I was not available immediately when called at the last minute for a bed I was at 3:30pm on a Friday I ask can I come in Saturday morning Genevieve Sotelo the building manager told me they don't hold beds. I made a review on how she treated me and her supervisor responded to my review and told me to call back just to turn me down and they will not accept me into they shelter. These people are horrible individuals who don't have sympathy or passionate about their position. I have been. Trying to figure how to get ahold of someone over them because this not fair

I did not have a good experience with The housing Manager Miss G. She didn't even give me her real name. So she was not nice at all and wanted me to stop what I was doing to come in the same day she called me I told her yes I'm homeless but I have a life I'm at work and she told me don't hold beds and called me case manager and told her she is not going to help me get in the shelter. This place have people who is not passionate and look down on others because of their position.Where did I say anything about the weekend she didn't say I can come in tomorrow or the same day wanted me to come in before 3:30 also you never returned my calls when I called back you people don't care if you did you will leave an email or number for me have direct contact

They reply to reviews but don't reply to voicemail they try to make the self look good on reviews they never answer the phone or call you back. These people are not helpful I cannot get any help. If you care about your clients then return calls or or answer the phone Miss G is horrible and she feel she is above people in need. I believe she is the one responding to the review. I need to talk to her supervisor . Ally Vega supervisor as well.

This place was a complete joke the years that I was dealing with domestic violence and then finally got in I realized everything that they had told me over the phone of how they didn't put up with certain things and that they were Ada compliant and accommodating was all a big lie they had so many women from violent backgrounds in this place one who had a mug shot of her that I personally saw with my own eyes and she confirmed that she did violent crime also they had women who were breaking the law by not enrolling her kid in school and still participating in illegal activities of prostitution on the grounds of the shelter who constantly kept me and other roommates up with her phone calls to pimp and customers they did nothing to remove this client and allowed her to do acts of bullying and intimidation and violence towards many other people including me another thing I found deeply disturbing was they allowed in a woman who was severely mentally ill just because she had a baby who was not suffering with domestic violence she was just simply schizophrenic. With chronic homelessness who thought somebody was always following her we had to watch this client almost killed her baby before they intervened to remove also had to witness someone smoking marijuana in the bathroom who was the same individual who had the violent record with the mugshot who come to find out had been there for almost 2 years using her kids as a sympathy card for a handout and a Shield they do not properly supervised everything that's going on there was always one staff in the office you're never enough eyes and ears around to watch everything that's going on leaving them somehow to rely on the word of clients with criminal records to be believable lol
