I came to leave this review just to say that Bob's Auto Tech does not offer smog services. Per some of the older reviews, I decided to drive by & try to get my a smog check because the DMV is requiring it to update my registration & was very kindly + politely informed by the worker that they do not offer smog services & he gave me a recommendation for a place nearby.

Since Bob has sold the business to a former employee (but is still around), a couple things: 1. They finally have a computer system so can track repair and service history with vehicles. + 2. Had an oil change, but defective filter that leaked oil on my driveway. They diagnosed and replaced filter promptly. 3. I strongly dislike that the new owner adds a 4% surcharge for paying with credit card. Surcharge OK, but 4% is too high. That drops my rating to 4 stars.
