Do NOT use as UPS Access Point! I brought my packages in on Friday at 2:30. UPS says last pickup is at 3:30pm. I walked in and put the packages on the ground and said "Hasn't picked up yet, right?". Guy said "Yes". I asked again to clarify that answer and yes, they had already picked up. I started to grab the boxes and take them out and said that they have to go out today. He said flat out "Why?". Crazy! He said "No, no. It will go out tomorrow" (Saturday). I said I really needed to get it out today. I am an Amazon Prime seller, and when I get an order, I HAVE to ship that day. Two strikes and you're out of the program. I reluctantly left them, stupid move. Looked at tracking, and not only did it not go out Saturday, it didn't go out Monday either! I have a customer that was promised the package TODAY Tuesday and it was only picked up today due to this Access Point. They may be good for booze and Slim Jims, but really, don't leave your UPS here.

I have been going there since we bought a house in SL last year. We usually stop by once a month on a Friday to buy 1 Victoria beer for my husband and I. We can buy beer at Costco or other places but like the idea of supporting our local shops. However, the last two times I've stopped by, the "new management" has been outwardly rude to me. 2 weeks ago, I stopped by and asked why they didn't carry Victoria anymore and the staff person was so disdainful when he replied that they have NEVER had Victoria. Not true but ok, dude. That was the last time I will go to this shop and I suggest you go elsewhere too. There's another shop downtown that carries Victoria and they don't treat their customers like sh*t.

This store is very racist the owner just searched my lil brother and accused him of stealing when there was 3 white people in the store and he was the only black person. No he did not search anyone else but my brother. My brother is 16 and had just came from getting a hair cut next door. The employee searched my brother to find out all my brother was doing was taking out money from his pockets. Once again he did not search the other people in the store. You can not search a minor without consent from their parents.

Himalayan FoodMart is where Bancroft Foodmart once was. store still being stocked. new sign not up yet. india groceries are stocked in far right corner. produce coming soon. with 2 new indian eateries opening in san leandro and one in hayward, not surprising to see an indian grocery too. brew: Alameda Island Brew,,"Sea Haggis Scout Ale", 24 oz. 8% alc.(6.65 total, better than bevmo.) -nice smooth brew with some buzz -Alameda Island has come a long way since it's early pale ale days. -not many craft beers, none priced. just the usual sticker specials. Hamalayan Foodmart is on it's way to becoming a go to destination for unique brews, foods, mexican ices...

Great service. Been going to this place for 7 years but with old management this place had absolutely nothing. These new guys though are super nice and have everything on deck. Good job guys and welcome to the neighborhood!
