12 16 19...I was on my way to get a smog check for a 2006 ES 330 Lexus aka Toyota Camry..anyways.. a block away from the smog shop my car had steam coming out of the hood.it was my radiator.Continued to smog shop passed smog test..made a few calls..one to a place that replaced my radiator in 2011 for$443 when at the time the dealer was charging $1100...called them first they said price went up from $443 to $680..Made two calls one to AAA and one toSan Leandro Radiator.. they said $385 plus parts if I needed hoses or something.. They charged me $432 out the door.. and did it very fast..Car running like it was before so far it's been two hours and it's not overheating and I can't ask for more..The neighborhood is cool also..The staff..Respectful and Humble and they.432mhz by the way is the human frequency. We must be human these days..I would go back again and I would also recommend to others..Oh yeah...San Leandro Radiator's price was lower than the AAA recommended shop even with a twenty percent discount. Respect

Took my father in law 4runner here for Air conditioning check. 98 4runner we recently received as a gift had it check. They do a free estimate .With in a day I received a call back telling me one of my ac line was leaking. They explain and showed me where it's located. Did not have money to get it done. No pressure put, but at least I was able to find out what's wrong and able to save up to get it fix when ready. Trust worthy place to go.

This business is exactly what you hope you will find when you take your car - or RV in my case - in to have the air conditioning repaired. They obvious care about their work, and about you having your vehicle back in the condition you need. Ron, the owner, is the one you deal with, which means you're talking to the responsible person from the start. He gives you a good, fair estimate, but in my experience, came in under estimate. Also wants me to come back in and have the work checked again before I go on a longer trip (so I don't get stranded without air in the middle of a desert). He apparently takes good care of his staff, because they are just as painstaking as he is. Good, fast work, too. My job wasn't an easy one, either. The RV is more than 25 years old, and the AC hadn't worked since I had bought the vehicle 4 years ago. My favorite RV mechanic wouldn't even try, and told me it was hopeless. (To be fair, he does everything else very well). Anyway, if you're reading this review, you need look no further. This is the place.

This shop does great work for a fair price. We suspected our 1973 GMC RV's radiator had a leak, but it's hard to remove. Ron and Juan got the old radiator out, fixed two leaks, and installed a new, more efficient, high quality core and new hoses. We asked them to check the thermostat. They found a previous owner had put a washer in place of a thermostat! With the repaired radiator, new core, and new thermostat in place, the engine stays locked on 180 degrees even in stop and go traffic after a freeway run. The RV's AC had not been effective. Ron tracked down the right parts for our older RV's unit. They installed a new cooler, new receiver and drier, and fresh refrigerant. Now, the AC pumps out cold air. Ron did a great job keeping us posted and checking with us about alternatives and prices every step of the way. What a pleasure to deal with these guys!

Kudos to the whole crew! From Ron who was always so helpful and knowledgeable over the phone all the way to the mechanics I got to meet... Jim and Juan. All of them were friendly, personable, knowledgeable, and highly recommended. You can definitely tell these guys are seasoned and very skilled at what they do. How can I say for sure you might ask? Well it's simple... let me explain. My whole car dilemma began with a rodent infestation that stunk up my whole AC system of rat urine. It was disgusting!!! On top of that we had a newborn we were driving around in the car. Our insurance company was giving us the hardest time about getting this fixed. I'm not gonna even get into that. Basically we were left with very little options so we took it to THE FORD STORE in San Leandro, where we bought it. They kept the car for a month and didn't do anything to it until we were gonna run out of rental coverage so they rushed it out in one day. When we got the car back it still stunk!!! After one month of them having it!!! Ron took all the necessary steps to reassure us and the insurance company that it was going to get done this time and get it done right! He kept us very well informed and his mechanics explained why the smelled still lingered. They sanitized everything throughly and dug in deep to make sure nothing from the rats was left behind. They kept our baby girls health a number one priority. All throughout the process Ron would call us and have us stop by to check it the work. He reassured us it was being taken care of and the mechanics always explained what they were doing to the car so we stayed on the same page. They made sure we were happy and content with the work. The Ford Store left wires unplugged and dials weren't put back properly. This is all stuff that Ron's shop caught, brought to our attention and fixed for us. It doesn't even look like the dealership did much of the work they charged us for. The Biggest thing over looked by the dealership was the entry point the rats used to get inside the AC system. Ron on the other hand was smart enough to block that entry point so we wouldn't run the risk of having any more problems in the future. We really couldn't have asked for more. They gave me and especially my wife the peace of mind needed in-order to once again feel safe driving our little girl around in the family car. Thanks again guys!!!

I just went to this place based on its Yelp reviews. So glad I did. The owner, Ron, explains everything to you up front and has you decide where to go from there. Even if you decide not to have them repair your car, there is still no charge for a diagnosis fee. The price to repair my a/c was more than fair and it works great.

I went to these people based on high Yelp reviews, but was terribly let down. I knew I needed a new radiator for m 1992 Corvette, and also the a/c wasn't blown cold. I called them, they said I would be looking at probably $6-700 which sounded reasonable so I made an appt and dropped the car off. The shop contacted me later in the day, said they had disassembled the car, and found the cost would be closer to $1400. I said no that is way too much and I would be down at the end of the day to get the car. When I arrived I was first told the car was still disassembled and could not be picked up. I said no, I had informed the shop[ I would be picking it up and intended to. They then let me take the car. I then went to Amazon, which quoted $9t four a new radiator plus $199 installation. The shop was about 40 miles away, but I had it towed there, they found an a/c hose had been threaded incorrectly, in short did the whole job for less than $500 including the new radiator.
