8 hours of waiting without any updates on our dog without us calling back hour after hour and still no diagnosis or attempt to explain what blood work/radiology shows. After begging for the update and returning to the clinic in person, Dr. Krouse finally tells us he has pancreatitis and they are not treating him there. She recommends we take him to another emergency vet and will no longer treat him after we have already paid $1300. This is negligent and cruel.

The staff and doctor King saved my sweet girls life last night. We came in with my puppy having a life or death obstruction in her small intestine at around 8pm, they helped us with so much love, honesty, and compassion. I would give this vet a million stars, and I am so grateful for the entire staff that worked the night of January 27th; Xray tech, nurse, doc, and reception were truly out of this world. Y’all saved my babies life. Because of the staff on hand my girl is alive, thank you❤️

It's taken me a long time to be able to write this review as I was completely traumatized after taking my dog here. If I could give zero stars I would. One of my friends had an emergency with their dog this weekend and it made me revisit my experience and I thought I'd share. Hopefully it will save someone from the horrible experience I went through. This situation happened in June of 2022. I had been given a number of ER vet numbers by my regular vet, but when I needed to come in none were available. I asked one of the ER vets that I called if they had any suggestions. They gave me this vet. I called they said they weren't busy. It was 1 am my dog had diabetes and pancreatitis previously. This bought of pancreatitis was not good. She woke up struggling to breathe. I told them everything when I called. They told me to come right in and call when I got there. They were still using Covid protocols to not let anyone in the office as all vets seem to do for an extremely unnecessary long period of time. I called when I pulled into the parking lot it was a very short interaction. They said they would be right out. Spoiler alert... they didn't come right out. I picked up my dog who was still struggling to breathe from the seat next to me. She was struggling harder than before. I called again... and again... and again while my dog laid dying in my arms. I got out of my car and I rang the bell pounding on the glass, desperate for help. No one answered. I sat outside an hour! A HOUR! No one answered the door or phone. Finally someone answered the phone. "Mam! We only have one vet tech here tonight!" The place was entirely empty. I said, "I understand but my dog is dying in my arms." She was like, "oh, I didn't realize it was that bad." Not sure about you, but breathing issues at 2am scream emergency to me. Especially with my repeated calls. She came running out, took one look at her asked if they could do cpr as she whisked her out of my arms. They came out asked for me to fill out paperwork and most importantly my credit card. They made sure to charge me $1700 before coming out to tell me she died, 15 minutes after they took her inside. I was sitting in my car in the parking lot alone. One of the worst experiences of my entire life. I was too traumatized as I mentioned before to complain or fight the charges. She deserved better than that place. Never take your animal here. Please.

Stay away from this place if your love your four legged friends. Took our little one there who was very sick here, felt initially ok about leaving her there.I was hopeful , wanted the best for her but then felt like they were fake friendly. Didn't really care, only wanted money, especially Dr. Lee. She was so rude and disrespectful. Tried to convince us to have do something we didn't want to , we knew what was best for our little one. Would never return here

I am so thankful for the care and attention from the entire staff. I would have never expected the need for an internal medicine vet, but I’m lucky to have been referred to such a knowledgeable and caring team. Thank you for caring for first!

After puppy swallowed meds from the floor, this team took us in over the holidays and worked with poison control. After an almost 24 hour stay, our pup came home and is recovering. Thank you to the team at VMSG!

Highly recommend! We rushed our 9 y.o. dog here Christmas morning when she had fever and lethargy. They were so, so kind and caring with her and put us at ease. From our first conversation with Reception, to the Vet Techs and Dr on duty, we were impressed with the professional, kind hospitality, and relatively swift response. They're more than pro's - we consider them our Superheroes!!

Where to begin.... My 9 week old puppy had a sudden onset of symptoms that appeared to be life threatening. I took her to VMSG because it was an emergency and could not wait. We arrived, were given paperwork, put in a room and after 30-45 minutes with no one coming in I decided to leave and go to another vet. Good thing since as we were leaving we realized there weren't any people in the reception area. No employees, no patients, no one. Where'd they go? Not in with me and my deathly ill pup. I can't say bad service because there was NO service. I will never go there again or recommend them. We wasted valuable time that my pup needed. It made a scary situation worse!

I had to take my very sick pup in and was very impressed by the immediate and compassionate care Gladys Knight received. She was eased to heaven surrounded by love and concern. I’m most appreciative.

If your animal is in critical condition, this is the place to take them. I've used them before and will continue using them. This past Monday they saved my 11 y.o. Chihuahua who was going into CHF. He is doing well now that he is on the necessary meds.As for the staff, they were outstanding from start to finish.

Amazing pet hospital 5 stars would recommend if your pet is sick or hurt we came here for our cat and they were so nice and had so much knowledge and really helped us out .the women at the front desk was so sweet and kind . She even let my daughter play with her adorable puppy which was a great distraction for a little girl sad about her cat .They genuinely care about the families and their pets that walk thru their doors .I knew my cat Harrison was being left in good hands with people that cared about him . They were so open to working with me giving me resources . I was touched by their kindness and compassion. I am so grateful to have this amazing place full of amazing animal lovers if your family pet needs emergency care definitely take them here !

Took my puppy here when he wasn't feeling well and refusing to eat. The experience was just okay. Went over my options with them, and agreed on a course of treatment that was around $550. They left me in a room for quite some time and took my dog away to be examined in another room. I have no way of even knowing if they did the things they charged me for, but whatever I trusted them and was happy to pay that amount for my pup. Ever since our visit they have been hounding me for an additional $300 in services that I never agreed to. Some "Lab Testing". Reading other reviews I see they have done the same with other patients. Should have listened to my vet and taken my puppy to "Healing Hearts" in Laguna Hills.

IF YOU LOVE YOUR ANIMALS, STAY FAR AWAY.Two and a half years ago our then 13 year old dog collapsed one morning. As we were new to the area we didn't know where to go. VMSG was able to take us straight away (probably because most people already know to stay away) this was still during the pandemic so they wouldn't let us go back with our dog. We couldn't even go inside. They took our dog from us at the front door. We then didn't hear back from them for hours as we stressed all day. We called back a few times and eventually decided to go back and see what was going on. They called us as they saw us waiting in the parking lot and proceeded to tell us that our dog had masses in her abdomen and we should put her down. When they finally gave her back to us, the tech ran our card and when we asked about putting her down said something to the effect of "oh yeah sorry about that". No care, no sympathy. The entire experience felt shady, off putting and transactional.LUCKILY we sensed all of this at the time and decided to take it day by day. Our dog was completely fine! We ended up finding an AMAZING vet at ALICIA PACIFIC VETERINARY CENTER who DENIED VMSG's original diagnosis and has been an absolute lifesaver (literally). And NEVER has recommended we put our dog down. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE save yourself the heartache, stress, time and money and do not go to VMSG.
