“We had our wedding at Franciscan Gardens on October 23rd, 2025, and I could not imagine a more perfect venue! This place is truly a hidden gem in San Juan Capistrano. It is so green and lush that our wedding colors popped in the most beautiful way. I kept my décor very simple, but with the pergola, the fountains, and the natural beauty of the garden, everything looked magical and elegant without needing much at all.

The bridal suite was wonderful. It stocked with water, a mini fridge, and plenty of space. We had a large bridal party, seven on each side (14 total), and we all fit comfortably. It was such a sweet setup for both the bridesmaids and groomsmen to get ready.

The flow of the venue was seamless. Transitioning guests from the courtyard ceremony to the indoor cocktail area and then back outside for the reception was smooth and made the night feel so easy and enjoyable for everyone.

And the staff, just incredible. They checked on us throughout the day, made sure we had drinks, and were so kind and attentive. Their hospitality made us feel so cared for.

Franciscan Gardens is romantic, elegant, and truly breathtaking. If you’re looking for a venue that feels intimate, lush, and timeless, this is the place. Highly recommend.”

Although I didn't stay there, the picturesque setting and charming architecture made it look like a fairytale retreat. Nestled in California's oldest continually inhabited neighborhood, these cottages offer a unique blend of history and tranquility. “I don't even know how to begin about how much I LOVE Marbella. We got married here in November and it was the most perfect venue from beginning to end. The day we looked at the space with Kaile Watters we knew it was perfect. Every single thing leading up to the wedding was so easy, elegant, and well taken care of. Kaile is a dream come true to work with, truly. The whole staff went above and beyond to create such a beautiful and memorable wedding day for us. I could go on and on. The fact that nearly everything is taken care of in house made things SO easy for us: picking all the linens, chairs, designing the layout, coming up with signature drinks, etc. The menu tasting was such an incredible experience and people still can't stop talking about how delicious the food was day of! Marbella has so much natural beauty and the space could really be utilized in so many ways to create what you're looking for in a venue. We had our ceremony, cocktail hour, and dinner outside and moved the dancing indoors so we could keep the party going through midnight.
