I quit using the Rite Aid pharmacy a long time ago because they are always out of medications.I started using the pharmacy in my doctor's building and it's been wonderful. Mind you, I only take one pretty common medication, plus a rescue inhaler which Rite Aid NEVER had in stock. Today I went to urgent care and discovered I tested postivie for COVID. My doctor ordered Paxlovid. Since my regular pharmacy is closed and becuse it is a time sensitive medication, I had her send the prescription over to Rite Aid, San Juan Capistrano. Shocker! They are OUT OF STOCK! Whoever does their inventory and ordering needs to stay on top of it. It's common sense, when you're running low on a time sensitive medication, order more so it's on hand when patients need it. It's no wonder this company had to shut down so many locations. Just go to any other phramacy or use your insurance plans mail order prescription plan. Rite Aid is not worth the aggravation, plus the store in San Juan stinks; I get hit with the nastiest odor every time I walk in the front door.

All the employees here are awesome. They work really hard and they have to deal with a lot of challenges coming at them from all directions. I rely on this place big time for the pharmacy, nice cards & stationery, OTC medicines, random beauty emergencies and staple items. I always see everyone being nice & doing their best while putting in the hours. Not to mention they have ice cream, Papyrus cards, contact lens supplies, some pet stuff and a great candy selection, especially during holidays. Also the garden section can be surprisingly well stocked. For a not fancy average every day store these pharmacists and workers get a blue ribbon, trophies & flowers

This place is lazy and slow. They do not answer the phone for hours. Do yourself a favor and send your prescriptions to CVS.

The dedicated pharmacy team is working hard, but RiteAid's leadership let them down by closing the RMV store without a proper plan to accommodate the extra pharmacy customers. With lines often exceeding 10 people, the stressed-out team behind the counter deserves better support. While the store employees are doing their best, RiteAid leadership's lack of foresight has unfairly burdened them. It's time for RiteAid to address these issues and ensure proper planning for the well-being of both employees and customers.

Extremely rude in addressing why I was overcharmed $115! for prescriptions. Was ultimately refunded, but steer clear of Nicci and her attitude. Maria cleared up the mistake. But afte years of being a customer the attitudes were unbelievably rude.

Do not buy any gift cards from this store. Every time I purchase one. There's not the amount I paid for on the card. This has happened twice now. I think it's the cashiers doing it and pocketing the money. Someone needs to look into this because they are robbing people and the store they work for. Last time I purchased anything from this store

Purchased generic antibiotic for $45 six tablets. They Did not charge to my insurance. Do not know why. You can buy this for less than $10. I had sent someone not knowledgeable to pick these up and I feel that we were ripped off.

First of all, the Pharmacy team are awesome and we love their hours! Very helpful and kind. All questions answered and no pressure. The store layout is great and well stocked with everything. The downtown location is perfect and easy to park whenever. Fantastic store.

Super awesome location in town and open late which helps for everything from birthday cards and ice cream to full service Pharmacy. Speaking of, the pharmacy team are friendly, fast and always help above and beyond. I never wait too long and I'm able to get exactly what I need. Really appreciate the staff and great prices on everything. San Juan Capistrano's Rite Aid is the best.

Excellent service and store layout. Stocked up, always friendly and great hours. Pharmacy team is outstanding. Dao was great and very helpful with my vaccination appt. Great store and location. Also, ice cream!

I asked to purchase stamps the checker was confused and then told me they have 4 packs of them I asked for 10 packs of 4 but did we do not have that many. Rung me up for 2 packs of 4. He asked the checker next to him for the stamps and he pulled out a large stack of them. What the issue is there a restriction on selling stamps? Sorry this kid was not doing his job and felt like he did not care.
