Ortega Animal Care Center
27341 Ortega Hwy., San Juan CapistranoWow. This facility went above and beyond for us in a time of desperation. Andrea the manager is a true rockstar. Long story short, our cats were sprung on them last minute with little notice due to the other boarding facility neglecting to inform me of their situation. Andrea came to the rescue and took care of everything. Reassured me the cats would be well taken care of and we need not worry about a thing. She was very communicative the whole week and also drove the cats back down to us herself. While the cats did arrive back to me a bit dirty, I completely understand because they were stressed out and wouldn’t be very cooperative with the staff. But the staff and Andrea did everything within their power to give the cats the best care possible. Andrea deserves a promotion and pay raise for sure. Thank you!

My German Shepherd is almost 2 years, which is perfect at home, but will bark and rush to other dogs when goes out. After first training class, the dog has become polite to any dogs and people. I have a German Shepard husky mix and a lab/husky mix who can both get too excited, loud, and play a little hard but Paul has been so patient with them both! He corrects them when needed and they always come home listening a little better to me. Terrah is also THE nicest person, always a smile on her face and answers any and all your questions when it's not too crazy busy. Can't thank them enough!

We'd recently adopted the cats in September of last year, so I really wanted someone who would make them feel comfortable while we were away. Ruth Ann and Star took care of our kitties (and our plants and mail, etc!) perfectly. I got regular updates and photos. The cats were happy and loved their visits. OC Pet Companions was also very thorough and courteous. It was great working with them and I'll be using them again and again and again!

The Zuri Pet Spa
32423 Calle Perfecto, San Juan CapistranoMy dog has been going to the Zuri for boarding for about 5 years. I appreciate all the staff and how well they care for my dog. I always get her bathed before I pick her up and the groomers do a fantastic job. The groomers always give her a new bandana, man tie or a bow tie. I love that while I am on vacation enjoying myself, my dog is also hanging out with other dogs and enjoying herself. She always comes home tired. I also love that while I am away I can look at my dog enjoying herself on the Zuri live feed cameras. I also take advantage of the vaccination clinic that the Zuri has at their location once a month. I only have wonderful things to say about The Zuri. The report cards they send with her pictures always make me smile while I am away from home. I am able to relax and enjoy my family’s vacation knowing that our dog is being cared for fully. OMG and the holiday photos. I love and appreciate it all. Thank you Zuri! You are the best!

Last night I had Arugula salad (very lemony dressing), the Risotto (outstanding) and chocolate gelato which was VERY chocolate. Topped with a nice wine. All Excellent. As for atmosphere, lots of large parties there last night celebrating Christmas and birthdays so was quite noisy, but 'tis the season. Highly recommend Limoncello. Food and service are excellent and above average. Menu is extensive with very different and interesting options. If they would have served a shot of Limoncello after dinner I would have thought I was dining in Italy.

We had an amazing experience with the owner Suzy, who went above and beyond. As well as the staff and chef that helped with the event. The food was incredible, the venue decorated perfectly, and the service was worth every penny!
I know this review does not exactly embody the restaurant itself but it does exemplify how great the food, wine, service, and ambiance the restaurant has.

The staff is very welcoming and attentive. You can just truly tell how much heart they pour into their business! Hands down the top mexican restaraunt on our list!!!! Donuts are roughly $4-$8 reasonable for the size. I was able to eat half for breakfast and half after dinner. Good variety, donuts are moist and taste much better than your typical donut shop. Clean restaurant will be come back !

Parking is definitely a challenge. Very limited free parking behind the restaurant. I didn’t see any street parking close by. But there is lots of paid public parking in the area. Some are $10, some are $4 for 2 hours.
The restaurant itself has inside and outside seating available. Lots of options for everyone. Staff is super friendly, welcoming, and helpful.
Atmosphere is nice and pleasant. Very relaxed and friendly.
Food was good. My wife had the chilaquiles, I had the Ellie’s Table Breakfast Combo. It was all delicious, good seasoning, nice and crispy bacon, it all tasted fresh.
Definitely a place to come back to. We came from Lake Forest, so this could be our to go breakfast place whenever we come down this area.
Definitely recommend to try!

The pão de queijo, and the risole de frango are a must try for appetizers. The grilled fish and shrimp sauce was divine! The cherry on top was being able to enjoy a live band playing bossa Nova jazz music while enjoying our dinners. What a wonderful treat! This place is a must try if you're looking for a unique experience!

The space and decor is what you'd expect and want for a special occasion like a bridal/baby shower. They even offer you pretty hats for photo opps. It's a little bit cluttered for my preference and during the summer time, it's quite uncomfortable as I've gotten eaten up by mosquitos but overall, a beautiful space. The service, tea and food were good, nothing stood out but nothing was bad.
