Seems like the "South Pole elves" were running the tree lot this year. My 7 and 3 year old boys were playing in the Christmas trees (tag) and one of the staff yelled at them and told them they weren't allowed to "run." Then my older son picked up the branch of an Xmas tree he found on the ground and a different employee told him he wasn't allowed to play with it and grabbed it out of his hand. There was a general bad attitude among the employees and certainly not a hint "Christmas spirit" from anyone. We ended up getting a tree there but after $169, plus a $20 tip, nobody even said "Merry Christmas," it was the strangest tree-buying experience I've ever had. To be fair, last year was very different but everyone was so grouchy this year they made us feel unwelcome and I don't think we'll be back.

Wow! This place has GORGEOUS and reasonably priced (I say this knowing that trees are expensive and I am blessed to be able to afford a nice live tree) Christmas trees. What a gift to have discovered this place coming from San Diego. We got a beee-you-teeee-ful (it's gorgeous) Nordmann 7' tree the first weekend they opened for the season and I could not be happier. It is so fresh and was the first tree I saw on the lot. I walked right over to it and said "this is the one!" I will always come here in the future. I'm tired of buying trees in San Diego county knowing that every tree lot gets their trees from the exact same place/ grower and they're all overpriced and just ok. It's Farmakis Farms only in the future for me

Love this tree farm!! Trees are always fresh whether grown there or brought in, the staff is great and it's nice to visit the goats and chickens on the farm! You can even treat yourself to a coffee drink while you shop inside the barn...

The staff at Farmakis in San Juan Cap. are all wonderful people (I speak Spanish which was helpful) and displayed the joyous Christmas spirit. My only issue was the cost of the tree. We bought a 6-7 ft. Noble and the price was $122.99. Last year it was closer to $80. Why the $40 increase?!? Otherwise, everything was great. Hoping for a genuine and honest response from Farmakis.

Fun place to buy a Christmas Tree. Walk through the path of Christmas lights, enjoy the cute gift shop, and browse through the lighted tent with helpful staff. Not the cheapest, but far more enjoyable than a huge dark parking lot.

I thought the prices were just a little bit pricier than Home Depot so that's a plus as normally places with fun Christmas vibes up charge like crazy. We would have bought a tree here but the staff was so lazy and snotty...no smiles no greetings. But she will sure get up to judge, glare and ruin your family Christmas card moment. do your job grinch and let people enjoy.

Cute little Farmers Market on Friday's. Parking in on a dirt/rocky road. Merchants outside and inside the farm (jewelry, clothing, non food). One food truck was there selling food including a large breakfast burrito ? for $10. The Tealucky guy had fresh like tea. So fragrant and provided samples...yummy. I don't drink tea but bought a steeper that dips into a mug from him for $10 and the Peachy variety tea. Nice guy and highly recommend it. Good produce and the basket of strawberries? was red and sweet for $7. My friend bought tamales ...lots of varieties. There was a guy providing samples and selling fresh goat and sheep yogurt varieties that are tasty spreads for crackers, etc. Definitely worth checking out. Looks empty as I visited an hour before it closed.

Beautiful lot but I paid $200 for a tree and $50 for a stand only for them to install it completely crooked. For that much money this thing should at least go in straight. All sales are final so they wouldn’t let me return it. I did it myself with a stand from Home Depot for $17. Learning lesson for me.

My wife has been a vendor at their monthly craft show a few times, I am her "roadie", and it is just a wonderful experience. Great venue, super nice family who owns the facility, and just good vibes all around. They really cater to the vendors as much as the folks who visit. The grounds are very clean, the events well organized, and the atmosphere is festive.Whether you are looking for an awesome place to display and sell your crafts or someone looking for neat and unique gifts, Famakis Farms is for you. Cannot say enough how much we look forward to these events!!!

First time here. Was very pleased with the entire experience. There was a decent amount of variety Bread Meat Eggs Fruit Veggies And a whole bunch of other good stuff too! My only issue was I could barely walk back to the car and I still did not get everything I wanted! I got wild caught fish, some farm fresh eggs. Real local honey and pollen too! I got empanadas (the good kind) I got fresh made tamales (have to say these are the best ones I have had around here) There was a food truck AND SHADED seating. I was so happy to not have people and their dogs running around. That was nice. There is CBD and a fresh bakery (hurry cuz the bakery sells out FAST) I got fresh citrus too. I got smoked almonds and I found fresh dried - sweet and delicious DARK CHERRIES! Have you had these before? If you wanna get the kids off the junk and juice boxes,.. get them to try dried dark sweet cherries, tons of vit C. Good stuff. I also got this amazing fresh made soup that I'm super jazzed. No sugar added! We also got fresh salsa, guacamole, and pico and fresh made chips (to go with the tamales) the salsa was so good I kinda ate it by itself. Sooooo GOOD! LOTS of parking. There is one ENTRANCE only and one EXIT Only. There is shaded parking closer to the barn that's also closer to shopping. I parked in the back 40 in the sun. . I wore a mask - it's what I do. It just helps with allergies right now too. Very pleased - everyone was just the best. I do not mind paying more for farm fresh - especially if it goes directly to the pockets of those who do the work. Actually I would always prefer farm fresh over a grocery store. There is of course - LOTS of other items to purchase. There was a plant place with beautiful Bonsai plants - I had to say nope. Too much to carry! I have absolutely no idea how much I spent as not every place takes Apple Pay,.. some only use credit card and some you can do cash,.. Zelle or Venmo. Due to the plethora of less than fun issues with Zelle and Venmo - I prefer Apple Pay and cash. My wallet is empty. I think I had about 80 in there so - that's all gone. I encourage you to bring Cash if can. The charge fees are there - but cash is just easier until Apple Pay becomes more available.
