I went to get my taxes done. I had a state and federal w-2 as well as a 1095 (covered california) form. I asked for a quote as was told it would be between $85 and $120.00. I commented that I thought that was an unusually wide spread. When i returned to finalize the return, I was told the price would be $190.00. That seemed highly unethical to me. After complaining, They deducted $35.00. That was still $35.00 more than the high end of their quote. I will not return next year! Kenneth did a good job, although he and the person in charge did not honor their commitment. DO NOT TRUST any quote they give you!

Scheduled a in person appt. The assigned tax person did not show up, was passed to another non- pro tax rep and asked to leave information which I was not comfortable with as I scheduled a IN PERSON appt. This was my 1st and last visit to H&R as the cost for a simple return would be $324.00.Total rip off and BAD customer service. FYI you can file your return for free on line.
