I have gone to Gerardo two years now and he has been extremely helpful! Last year when there was a major delay with my return Gerardo went above and beyond to help me figure out a solution. Very nice guy and always willing to answer my 100 questions.

2023 - My beautiful wife and I have employed more than our share of Accountants, CPA's, or Type A personalities to mitigate our culpability to the IRS's red taped, taxing machine. "Bro, TRRRUST ME... MY guy, he'll get you sorted out proper. Just, keep it between us. I don't want him to get too busy to do my tax returns (accented by a nod, elbow nudge, or a non to sly wink)." Long story short -- FIRED every fricken finger lickin' time.I can't even count how many times we've actually filed amended returns on our own to include things the CPA missed, overlooked or just didn't have time to ask us about. This cat, Gerardo... He's beginning to make me a believer. No - seriously, the thought of trusting someone to do our taxes makes me suspicious and uncomfortable. So, the fact that I'm a card carrying member of the GR Accounting #1 Fan Club will hopefully tell you something. Not that I'm ready to move down to South America and declare him the resurrected embodiment of Master Yoda, while becoming one with the force by sippin' on a pint of dark side roasted, iced CAF flavoured kool-aid.Gerardo is young, he's friendly, he's sharper than the exacto knife sitting in the tool box you never open, he asks a lot of pertinent questions and lets you answer WITHOUT interrupting. That last bit alone should garner him national recognition. GERARDO HAS NICE TEETH. No, I mean he's got Disney prince (or princess) brilliantly blinding, super-glossy, sassy, shiny, white teeth. Plus he's got that sort of boy-ish charm, that's young and idealistic. I mean, we (non accountants) get it: You're a CPA + IT's tax season = YOU went to college for this and YOU (should) know what you're doing, so we should just deal with your 40 something wearing a 20 something's short and super curt skirt of an attitude you're wearing wrong... right? WRONG. IT doesn't mean you know everything. IT certainly doesn't give you some self-appointed, Tricky Dicky impunity, permitting your over-inflated ego's rudely obtuse mannerisms, or excuse your, "I'm super busy and don't have time for this" condescension - YOU eggplant Friday lovin', blood suckin' wombat.Anyways, Gerardo is our Tax Guy until he becomes so widely popular that he joins the jaded gym for unbearably obtuse accountants - hers and hims membership casts based upon head size. Seriously, try him... you will NOT be disappointed.

Spoke to Gerardo on the phone and was happy to hear he was able to help me with my taxes! He seemed knowledgeable and easy to work with over the phone. Plus his prices were competitive and reasonable. All I needed was an email to get started. 3 days passed, with a phone call each day and no email from Gerardo. Sent an email, no response. Called again and he picked up on his day off. Said to send him an email so he could forward me the link to start preparing my documents. Again, did not follow through. I had to call again and I asked him if he could actually help me. He said he could and would send me an email right then. Also gave me an estimate to be done with all my taxes by within 3 days. It's been 6 days since and I still am waiting on that email. Overall, I've been playing phone tag for 2 weeks to ultimately realize that he can't help me! Not because he told me, but because I needed to file my taxes and found someone else. I saw other reviews mention a similar experience to my own. My recommendation to the business is to hire additional help with organization, scheduling and follow through. Or to just be honest about not being able to take more clients this season. It would've saved me 2 weeks and a 1 star yelp review.

Gerardo does not respond to emails or calls, and kept brushing me off and pushing back the date he estimated he would complete the work. Gerardo made mistakes populating tax info from several of my tax forms, and when asked about it blamed the layout of the forms, or anything other than acknowledging that it was his error.Gerardo's prices were reasonable, but next time I'll just do it myself.

Gerardo got back to me pretty quick. He is very friendly, efficient and at a good price. In fact I recommend my friend to go to him. She was happy with his services as well.

I hate getting my taxes done. Accountants aren't known for memorable office visits. I gotta say, Gerardo is a unicorn. He puts up with my rambunctious toddlers, smiles a lot and saves me money every time I see him. Smart guy, nice office, reasonable rates... but what do I know? You should probably stick with YOUR guy with the 70's serial killer combover who eyes your wife up and down like he's measuring her for his work in progress skin suit. Good luck with that
