I found this venue on social media and was immediately drawn to the aesthetics of the outer courtyard; it truly feels like you're stepping into a fairytale garden. From our first meeting, the 24Carrots team was incredible to work with. Elizabeth, Nasime, and Anna were all so easy to reach, responsive, and helpful with our myriad of questions. The venue is catered by 24Carrots and they will not disappoint with their staff and their food/drinks. Our guests were (and still are to this day!) raving about the food the entire time. If I had to go through the event planning process once again, I would choose a 24Carrots venue in a heartbeat. They are so professional and well run. I've heard bad stories of other weddings with late food, long wait times, among a myriad of other issues, but this was not the case at all with this team. They had everything under control and were working like a well-oiled machine. I can't recommend them enough!

We got married at Franciscan Gardens on July 20th and couldn’t be happier with our experience. The venue, staff, and catering were all phenomenal. Elizabeth and Nasime made the planning process a breeze, always incredibly professional and communicative. Believe what you read about the food - 24Carrots catering truly is the best! One of the hardest decisions we made was deciding on our menu items after the tasting - everything was so delicious! And on Wedding Day, guests were commenting not only on how beautiful the venue was and how amazing the food was, but also how friendly and helpful the staff were. We truly had the best experience with Franciscan Gardens and could not recommend this venue more!

Insanely beautiful venue with divine shade provided by 40 foot hedges that cooled the patio off at the perfect time. Medium venue ideal for 100-150 people. Great setup for bridal parties with a stream lined style of using the space efficiently. Great staff with security and great bartenders.

We fell in love with the venue from the minute we stepped foot! We loved the greenery, arch, pergola, and get ready room most! There is a lot of competition, but what really sold us on Franciscan Gardens was the amazing service we received from Elizabeth, Nasime, and Anna. The level of service was also consistent throughout the whole process, from inquiry to signing, as well as beyond the wedding date.
The team is so kind and truly made it feel like such a VIP experience. Not only is the team prompt with their responses, they are also so clear, warm, and patient. We really enjoyed working with the FG/24C team.
We had so much fun at our tasting with Anna. The food was already delicious then, but somehow tasted even more delicious the day of! We loved every little detail about the tasting from the carrot paperclip on our handouts to the plating and other touches.
Nasime assisted us with our final details meeting and was onsite day of. She is SO sweet. She understood what we were going for, provided some suggestions, and was always ready to help the day of the wedding.
Nasime, Anna, and Elizabeth made us feel so special! We are so happy we went with Franciscan Gardens and highly recommend the team and venue!

The moment we toured Franciscan Gardens back in Nov 2022, we instantly knew that this was where we wanted to get married! Within a week of touring and looking at the food/drink options, we booked Franciscan Gardens for our June 2024 wedding.
Nasime, Elizabeth and Anna were a pleasure to work with. They were so patient with all of our questions and had high attention to detail. They made the wedding planning process very fun, smooth and stress free.
Franciscan Gardens is a beautiful venue and we couldn't imagine a more perfect venue to get married at. The staff was amazing to work with, a lot of our guests mentioned how nice they were and attentive day of. We can't thank Nasime, Elizabeth and Anna enough as they truly helped make the day perfect for us! You won't regret choosing Franciscan Gardens as your wedding venue!

The Bridal and Groom suites are super elegant and unique with lots of texture for photos. The bridal suite has an attached courtyard that is also spacious for a decent-sized wedding party and portraits. The chic/ vintage/ polished concrete industrial vibe is very contemporary with a big indoor reception space.

We visit this beautiful property yesterday in anticipation of our son's wedding. It gives an old European charm in the middle of San Juan Capistrano. It is a lovely venue and look forward to our son's wedding there.

Franciscan Gardens is a photographer's dream wedding venue. From the brick building to the gardens outside, every corner of this place is beautiful. As an added bonus, it's only a short walk from The Mission San Juan Capistrano and the historical Los Rios district to add some variety to your wedding photos. And as always, the staff there is amazing not only to their wedding couples but also to us vendors. I highly recommend this venue if you're looking for a place to say "I do".

We had a wonderful experience using Franciscan Gardens as our venue for our son’s rehearsal dinner. I worked with Elisabeth, Nasime and Anna long distance and their consistent communication exceeded our expectations! 24 Carrot caterers also exceeded our expectations! The food, service and all staff provided a wonderful event! Highly recommend Franciscan Gardens!

The Franciscan Gardens was the perfect wedding venue for us and we couldn’t have been happier with our decision to have our wedding ceremony and reception here. The venue is located in the heart of San Juan Capistrano, right downtown within walking distance from all the restaurants, bars and The Mission, which made it so convenient for our out of town guests with plenty of things to do and see just within a few minutes walking distance away.All of the venue staff were so friendly, helpful and truly just amazing to work with! The Franciscan Gardens team was very professional, detail-oriented, responsive and made us feel at such ease that every detail was being handled so that we didn’t have to worry or stress - especially Nasime, Elizabeth and Anna! The team made the wedding planning and preparation process feel so seamless and our tasting just months beforehand was such a fun experience.The space was absolutely stunning and we received so many compliments from our guests on the romantic, cozy and warm atmosphere in addition to the quality and presentation of the food - 24 Carrots did a phenomenal job catering our event! Highly highly recommend Franciscan Gardens and 24 Carrots catering, you will not be disappointed, it’s such a charming space and the venue team executes every detail flawlessly!
