The wash itself is a fantastic deal for $8. Beware if you have metal valve stems, the car wash guide rails damaged mine on two separate occasions. First time the stem was sheared right off the front drivers side tire and went flat in the parking lot. Costco was great and replaced the stem for free. Second time my rear driver side tire didn't go flat until I was on the freeway. When AAA put the spare on, the tech pointed out the valve stem had a gash. Hopefully Costco fixes their carwash issues.

Went through car wash yesterday & it's the same familiar type of drive (pull) through wash & dry facility you'd find at gas stations. Plenty of soap & wax product seemed to spray out over the car. The brushes and dryer vents seemed to cover my car well. I did notice many small spots of dirt and pollen that didn't get washed or brushed out. Several outside the facility were towel wiping the autos. The polish shines well after drying. All in all it's worth the $7.99 even considering you'll most likely want to wipe remaining stains and dirt off yourself.

Friendly staff, great price. Car wasn't totally clean, they sent me back to go through again no charge. Pretty easy directions, car in neutral, no brakes, no steering, they guide you in. It's my favorite car wash, I used to pay $11 for a crappy job. I am a Costco employee. They tend to be open when other washes are closed. Threat of rain does not close the wash.

The car wash broke part of my left mirror, so the Costco manager filed a claim with their insurance company - Gallagher Basset - gallagherbassett.com. The insurance company replied by refusing to pay, denying any fault. I asked to review their information so I could see the CCTV which would prove my story, but they said no and told me to sue them in court. I tried to reason with them, but they are unreasonable. They won't even pick up their phone when I tried calling a couple of the managers there. From what I've read online, they have done this kind of thing before to other Costco members who have had their car damaged by the car wash. The way that Gallagher Basset is treating Costco customers is giving Costco a bad name.

I love Costco but not this car wash. I have had many automated washes but this machine missed several corners. What good is a half clean car?

They need more of these!! I love going here it’s literally just $7.99 and it actually cleans my car pretty well! Super simple just drive in and out!

WILL DAMAGE YOUR CAR & REFUSE TO COMPENSATE OR ACKNOWLEDGEBrought my 5mo-old car through the car wash & left with permanent scratches to the plastic wheel well. Called to report the incident, they said go onsite to file a claim. Took time out of my day to go in & show them the damage & fill out a report. Their 3rd-party legal company reached out & requested details including photos. They called back within 2 days saying the "conducted an investigation & the brushes are microfiber & therefore cannot scratch 'healthy' paint". When I explained it was plastic not painted metal that was scratched, they said there were 918 car washes that day & no other reports so therefore they were not going to compensate to replace the scratched part ($1000+). Their legal team then straight-up hung up on me after I mentioned I may pursue in small claims court. Costco is a heartless corporate giant unwilling to fix their mistakes and should be ashamed of themselves. I'm stuck with permanent, visible scratches on my brand new car unless I either shell out $1000+ or take them to small claims. Evil corporation.

I live close to the beach and have a carport. My car gets dirty. The car wash did not clean the back half of my car. It also was really spotty. All the windows and the whole car had spots. I forgot to bring a towel to dry it off. Even if I have forgotten before, it's never been this bad.

Costco Car Wash CLOSED.I showed up to get a car wash, but it was taken down for maintenance.I did not get a car wash and I skipped my usual gas fill-up.Maintenance on a high traffic facility can be done during off hours.

The car wash is excellent, but request no tire shine or your rims will be coated in brown fluid. The tire shine applicator is a long linear rolling brush that is supposed to coat the tires. The fluid is dirty from all of the cars passing through, and the brush touches the rims coating them with the dirty fluid.

For $7.99 currently , you can get your car washed at the Costco car wash! What an amazing deal! As you enter the area there are two lanes which eventually merge into one to get into the car wash. After you pay, there is an employee who will check your receipt and mark it as they do when you leave a Costco warehouse. Let the car wash do everything for you as you put it in neutral and it move you forward, slipping and washing your car clean! It does a decent job for the price. There are no vacuums or anything to clean out your car. Just make sure you have a rag if you want to dry off that car of yours even more.
