“I enjoy coming here. The selection is on par with a Goodwill. Don't expect too many high value items, like in other antique shops in town. But you'll find something interesting, if you take your time. It is small and packed with inventory. Most things are reasonably priced. If you're planning on selling something, I'd suggest coming on Monday's after 11am. Come with patience, since one lady does the buying and there is usually a few people selling. I have sold a few things and was offered on par or slightly more $$$ than I had expected. Very fair.”

“The "curated" kind of thrift store that's like shopping a good antique store, but for not-as-old and not-as-rare goods. There's a good variety of dishes and glassware, books, and a large clothing section. When we went on a Saturday morning, it was extremely tidy and not over-stuffed. Very nice staff.”

“The Discovery Shop at 1534 N Main St is the best thrift store in Salinas. My mom passed away from Cancer and this shop is part of the Cancer Society! Secondly, they have great quality of clothes for the entire family, furniture, and toys. They have Holiday sales where you can stock up on all kinds of decorations for your home. You can have quality products a great price, so come see their store. It is next to Safeway on N Main St.”

“I love this store, the owners are man and wife and they help out the less fortunate in the community. The items they have are all in good shape, the front of the store has beautiful collectable items. If u buy to resell you can still turn a profit. If you needs higher end clothing their is a boutique in back with lots to choose from. I work in town and find myself in here at least 2days. Week on my lunch hour. I have purchased everything from candles, to clothing, shoes and art work. Even a fish mobile . Can not say enough positive things! Worth the trip to town! Kids clothes, adults clothes, books, furniture, collectables and more. Love love love”

“Steady inventory of home health supplies at an incredible price. Wide and clutter free isles. They keep items organized and in the correct size category. One particularly good selection is ladies jackets and coats with an ample number of XL and up choices. My first stop on the thrift store agenda.”
