Was very disappointed in the customer service! The ambiance was meh, dry and the only reason why my family and shopped there was because of the friendly commercial advertising on of behalf of Zanotto's! Thank you for your true transparency and unwelcoming hospitality! I wish you all the best

This was my first time in any of their stores. I saw many things I liked and expected to come back for instead of going to Trader Joes. Their prices are high but I am not complaining since they were the only store with what I needed at the last minute. I paid $6.00/lb for fresh produce but the cashier literally picked up the bag of fruit from the scale and tossed it 2 feet to the bagger. When I objected to her handling the items I was purchasing the bagger got in my face. He seemed more interested in getting the cashier to go out with him than paying attention to doing his job. I did not notice but the bagger put a fruit pie in the bottom of the bag and 12 Lbs. of produce on top of it. Needles to say the pie was crushed and since that was the only apricot pie they had I was just had to take it. The person who said he was the manager could have cared less. Even with their high prices, given there were more employees than customers in the store with staff like this being the face of their company they may be in financial trouble in short order.

Great selection and really nice staff. Comfortable and safe. Plenty of parking. This is a great specialty market.

Meats, prepared foods, Italian pasta, sauce and coffees are awesome. It's not a store with everything, rather a store where everything in it is good. especially if they made it! Get the Ghirardelli brownies they make

This family market has lots of vl unique European treats like French butter, Italian pasta, and artisan chocolate. The staff is very friendly. Cons: high prices and tight parking spaces. But shopping is a pleasant experience and parking is ample.

This grocery store is posh and is a nice neighborhood store. The reason for the rating is that this is a specialty store meaning the other Zanotto's Family stores I have been to also carry feminine products aside from tampons. Considering this is a family friendly market, I would imagine that they should also be welcoming and friendly to the expansion of adding LGBTQIA+ products in their store aisle aside from the basic stuff without prejudice for body products aside from soaps and shampoos. Some people just want to shop like normal people and because we don't always know where the shipping stores store their products, some customers would rather get these type of things from our trusted grocery stores for ease of convenience and access. Hopefully this store will keep adding more friendly hygiene products in their offerings in the future.

This is my perfect place for fresh sandwiches and I got to any one branch I could pass by . So far, I couldn't find any service that's bad coz every one is helpful. My favorite is when I can make my own sandwich of Sundri tomatoes and prosciutto and melted cheese. I like to see how my sandwich is made. The area is always clean.

Great spot for a sandwich or a quick grocery run. All of their produce is locally sourced when possible and the staff is extremely friendly.

Love this sandwich place! Definitely 1 of my go to sandwich place. If you are not craving a sandwich you can also have salad, sushi or / and paninis! On top of all that it's a grocery store! The parking can definitely be limited and I would encourage to avoid the lunch rush because it can be crazy!

Thanksgiving day, I ran to get a couple of spices. The cashier was so rude. No acknowledgment, I wished him a Happy Thanksgiving, I had to ask my total, and then, as I was paying, he had his back to me until the transaction was complete. I was handed my receipt with nothing said or any eye contact. The customer behind me was greeted with enthusiasm and wished a happy Thanksgiving. Not pleasant.

I just spent almost $200 at this store, for the first time coming and at the check out employee was very rude did not speak or look at me once, I greeted him multiple times but he decided not to say anything or look at me. It felt racially motivated because he seemed to be fine talking to everybody else I was one of the only African American people in the store. The owner of the store spoke to me and said all he can say is sorry. And I’m going to move on but if employees can just treat costumers however they want I will definitely not come back. I honestly would have just taken all my things back and got stuff elsewhere but thanksgiving is tomorrow so that wouldn’t make sense. The store was not even that busy. But if the owner can’t do something about how their employees are representing the store then I’d be worried about coming back.

Local neighborhood favorite independent grocery store. Amongst a flood of chain stores idyllically sits Zanotto's, an Italian themed grocery store that has been a South Bay staple ever since I was knee to yo a grasshopper. Great selection of wines, crappy beers and your regular grocery store faire. Get a freshly made sandwich to order and sit outside with some soda pop watching the traffic roll by.

Not a large spot and certainly not the cheapest, but gosh darn (family friendly and all that) do they have a well curated selection! Very european/Italian focused, but great stuff, more pasta than you can imagine and a couple dozen tomato choices. I prefer this over Eataly and with good reason. That reason is not produce, which does leave much to desire, but everything else. Crumpets, sprecher sodas, duck and stock bones, a great meat department, fantastic sandwiches and a wine and beer selection that rivals no one. The first ting you see on entry is a ton of local bakeries stuff, hell yes!

Delicious deli sandwiches. Super customizable, and they offer gluten free bread and premium meat options like prosciutto. They give you two mini sandwiches if you order gf bread since the bread is small udis size slices. Probably the best value sandwich around San Jose. I usually order the Italian and my partner gets a custom one. It can get crowded and take a while to get your sandwich during peak times and there's no way to order ahead, as far as I know. Their groceries on the other hand are some of the most overpriced in the area, so we only go there for the sandwiches.

Amazing customer service. My husband and I have been searching for a butcher to get some bone marrow and a family member recommended this market. The gentleman who helped us was extremely knowledgeable and passionate. The amazing customer service is unmatched.
