I've been coming to this place on and off for over a decade! I have not had a letdown and she's done a very good job with alterations: jeans, shirts, suits and slacks. Have not been disappointed. Price is great and competitive as I've done comparison shopping. Still the best deal around. Depending on how busy she is, turn around time is about a week. I highly recommend calling first and scheduling a drop off and pick up.

I am a little under 5 feet, so most ao dais I've come across are either too long or slightly too big for me. I was in luck when I visited Xuan Thu Bridal because there was only one gold/cream ao dai in a smaller size that fit me well and suited my personality over a red or white ao dai. I chatted with co Xuan Thu in Vietnamese while she made minor alterations to the pants during my pick-up about a week before the wedding. The rental process was easy, and I'm glad I got to support this small shop. The ao dai photographed well in natural light and I received many compliments! The shop is small, humble, and low maintenance, but if you are in search of an ao dai, stop by to see what you may find! (I am using my husband's Yelp acc.)

Xuan Thu has such beautiful ao dais for purchase or rental at very affordable prices. She helped me style my ao dai and did some minor alterations on pants for my tea ceremony. I'm 5'0" and was a bit short for most of her dresses but I still had a decent amount of options. She was also very accommodating in terms of the return as we are in San Jose but I had my wedding in San Diego. I believe she also has man qua and other dresses/bridesmaids dresses available for rental/sale as well! I recommend seeing her for your bridal needs.

I strongly recommend Xuan Thu Bridal for everyone who is looking for beautiful bridal dresses at a reasonable price. I found a perfect Ao Dai for my wedding with the owner's help. She is friendly and helpful. Moreover, she gave me a really good price compare to other stores at San Jose. I'm so happy that I was right when I chose Xuan Thu Bridal.

Tiny shop, made out of a garage, attached to a home, on this residential block. If you don't pay attention you might miss it while driving by it. Now she only offers dresses for Vietnamese size, which majority of the dresses fall on size 0-4 wedding dresses! For Vietnamese Áo Dí i, it's more selection, but if you are bigger than me! You are out of luck. I'm considering fat and tall for my people. At 5'6", 120 lbs, I wear X-LARGE Vietnamese traditional dress, yup you read it right! So with heels, most of the pats she has is short on me! So many beautiful ÁO Dí€I but I'm too big for the dresses, unfortunately. So if you are 4'9" - 5'2" abs 100 lbs, you are in luck! Very reasonable rental price! She offers Men Áo Dí i too for Vietnamese Traditional Tea Ceremony. The owner Xuân Thu, she's sweet, nice, and genuinely care about me. If you expect fancy places bridal shop, this is NOT a place to visit. If you want bargain and decent selection for a tiny shop, come here and she's very accommodating too. Remember, if you come with high expectation and an attitude, don't bother! See my photos for yourself, low maintenance me, no expectation, I got tons of compliments on my photo shoots! For my wedding two month ago, I rented tuxedos for my husband and his groomsmen and bought bridesmaid dresses from Xuan Thu Bridal. Ms. Thu is very friendly, honest and easy to work with. Everything was done really fast and on time. Her prices were very reasonable. Before coming to Xuan Thu Bridal, my husband and I already came to some stores in San Jose to check for the prices. Her price was the cheapest. Since I had the Vietnamese Tea Ceremony, I rented the red gift boxes and ordered "Banh Phu The" (Husband and Wife Cake) from her too. The Husband and Wife Cake that I got from her was really good and very authentic since they wrapped the cake with pandan leaves. I highly recommend Xuan Thu Bridal to anyone.

This shop is great! I've had bridesmaid dresses (and even my own wedding dress) altered here and the work is always flawless! I'm petite so there's always a lot of adjusting to the straps and hemlines that need to be done but nothing is a challenge for XuanThu Bridal! If you're looking for quality work at affordable prices, come here!

Since my husband is Chinese and I'm Vietnamese, and our friends spoke English, my parents actually discouraged us from doing a tea ceremony because they didn't think people would appreciate or understand the cultural significance. A couple of months before, we decided that our tea ceremonies aren't that different, and the tradition was a part of our shared heritage. Something beautiful we could do to pay respect to our elders. This is so silly, but I honestly could not find an Ao Dai that I connected with. It was hard to find a designer to make one on such short notice, especially when I didn't know what I wanted. Especially when the designers I knew were all in SoCal. By coincidence, my mom was getting a dress altered at Xuan Thu Bridal for my wedding. It was a really small shop that wasn't on my radar when looking at places to yelp. I tried on two dresses, and lo and behold, a perfect fit. Not only that, but it was REALLY AFFORDABLE compared to other places in the area!!! The others I looked at were $150-$300 to rent, and don't get me wrong, they were great, but they just had too much going on. It wasn't what I was imagining for myself. Xuan Thu made the process seamless. She was so flexible about pickup days and coordination of drop off. On the day of the wedding, with the hair, makeup, heels... I felt something I didn't think I would feel in a dress that was a fraction of the price of my wedding dress. I felt more beautiful in the Ao Dai than I did than in my actual wedding dress. I felt a sense of heritage, belonging, respect and connection to the traditions of my culture. I can't believe how lucky I got finding Xuan Thu Bridal. Thank you!

Just rented the tuxedos for all my groom's men here. Tina is fantastic. She's so nice and helpful. Her prices are very reasonable. The suits are also excellent quality. Small shop price and service, big shop quality. I would highly recommend to anyone.

Xuan Thu Bridal is a one stop shop for anything and everything you'll ever need for a tea ceremony/engagement party/wedding day. She carries the prettiest Vietnamese dresses (ao dai) for both men and women. I have taken serval friends here for rental and they wouldn't be happier. There are also ao dai for the groomen and bridesmaids in different colors and very modern. She also does alteration :)

I've been coming to Tina for a very long time, she is the best in town and very reasonable prices, I drive the extra 25 miles to SJ because she is really good at what she does. I have recommended her to all of my family and friends. She can fix and make anything you give her. Just let her know exactly what you want and she will make sure she does it for you.

Co XuanThu went above and beyond again! She always have reasonable prices and very quick and professional with her work. She was able to alter mine and my mom's ao dai pants. Unfortunately my ao dai pants were made too small for me from the beginning so it was impossible to fit in although co XuanThu did her best to expand it. Either way, my mom and I are grateful for her great work and promptness with getting the pants done.
