This store, or some of its workers, I don't know which do not take people of color serious as customers. Though they have beautiful decor and furniture I had a very unpleasant experience in this store. I am a black woman, I walked inside, looking at products that I had seen before. during the Glenwillow wine walk. I walked 2 miles to the store because I was determined to purchase a coffee table, It was absolutely gorgeous, and I had just bought an apartment in Berkeley. But when I came in, not one out of the five people working in that store, spoke to me. Not when entered the store, not when I walked close to them, nor when I walked past them. They continued having their own conversations as if I wasnt even present. Finally, I approach them to ask a question about shipping, and everyone got silent, and stared at me before one person hesitantly responded. I decided not to spend my money there because you do not deserve my money if I cannot feel welcome within your store.

After months of trying to reach a designer, no one returns messages or emails. My parents were a former customer many years ago and they haven't been able to reach anyone on my behalf. We currently found support from other designers and happy to have them.

Nice selection of things and I was only there for a small gift; however I won't be going back any time soon. Woman who assisted me with check out definitely needs to attend a "how to interact with customers" class... Amazing how good service will bring people back over and over and yet bad service is usually what is talked about thus causing a negative result. Disappointing!

I love Willow Glen Home and Garden. If it wasn't for Carmen, my place would never be put together. My home happened to be on the Willow Glen Home Tour and 3 days before the tour Carmen entered my home. She transformed it into a showplace. Not only did she stage many parts of it, I ended up buying all she placed in my home. Since that time I have purchased so many other items from her store. The time she takes to listen to my needs and to offer insight into options I would never have thought of. I have 3 more rooms to furnish, so Carmen and Steve, here I come...

Thank God for Willow Glen Home and Garden. I walk in and want everything in the store. The owners have excellent taste that inspires my own creative design. I love Carmen and Steve. They have always been helpful in my requests. Its also a great place for hostess gifts.

I found Willow Glen Home and Garden this year when I moved into the neighborhood and needed to furnish my house. I walked in the door and found the perfect bed. Carmen was so good with helping me look at fabric options, looking at pics of my home,etc the bed arrived and the delivery men were professional. I get so many compliments. I went back many times since then to get a custom bench, purchased a mirror, etc. they go out of their way to help me. Carmen even recommended an artwork hanging company that was fabulous, an artwork modification artist, and all sorts of other items. Even when I can't afford to buy I just love to go to look at the beautiful things there. Thanks Carmen and the WGHG team.

This has to be my absolute favorite store in downtown WG! Carmen, Steve and John are so friendly and knowledgeable! Whenever I need a gift for a birthday or wedding I go to Willow Glen Home & Garden. Not only do they have so many great pieces to choose from, they also have complementary gift wrapping! I also love their Sid Dickens memory block collection!

Thanks to Carmen for helping me choose a paint color for my newly (almost) redecorated guest bedroom! Carmen has such an eye and made me believe in making this room fun with "autumn purple" for two walls! I love the color and will now go to the store for a new chair and lamp!! Two items I bought from Steve and Carmen always get "wow" comments from my visitors....my black Asian trunk and my lime green garden stool are both beautiful and interesting additions to my place! I love WGHG!
