Hot Latte was barely warm and the cup not full. The barista looked concerned at her result, however handed it out to me anyways.

Some of the best coffee I’ve ever had. The baristas are a delight and the food is excellent. Get the banana bread!

I was out for a morning walk while visiting San Jose and walked by this coffee house by my hotel. It was around 8:30am and the line was out the door! I was intrigued. It must be a good spot if there was such a long line...right? I didn't want to wait in the long line so I decided that I would continue my walk and see if the line had died down when I got back. Sure enough! About 45 minutes later there was no line out the door so I proceeded in to check out what all the hype was about.I found only one person in line and decided I would order a cup of java to see how it was. I actually ordered an americano with oat milk and decided to enjoy it there. The barista was very friendly and didn't seem rushed or like he was in a hurry to get my order and move onto something else. I felt welcomed and it felt like a homey, small town coffee place to me.Inside was clean with some tables and some bar seating. There was also a roaster in the corner where they roast their beans onsite. The vibe was comfortable and relaxing. I sat at the bar that was in front of the window where I enjoyed my coffee and people watched. The coffee was amazing! It was smooth and had a great flavor. You could definitely taste the difference between this coffee and Starbucks. No comparison. This was more European-like and had a fresh roasted taste. Definitely worth the money!Next trip to San Jose I think I will try their food also. So many yummy looking offerings.Don't miss this place!

Cool little coffee roaster in downtown SJ near the convention center. Friendly staff and good coffee. Bagel sandwich was good. Cool atmosphere, had a real artsy and moody feel to it. Quite a few people on laptops getting work done.

Lively and friendly coffee roaster. Cortado with oat milk was perfectly prepared and tasty. My wife’s decaf Americano tasted great too. Surprisingly flavorful without having to add any creamer/sweetener. Place was busy when we were there, yet staff was calm, quick, and friendly. I got a ham and cheese croissant, which was delicious. My only suggestion would be to hide some of the items that looked like they belonged in storage. They detracted from the overall welcoming environment.Dietary restrictions: Oat milk availableParking: Paid to park on street 2 blocks away

Coffee was good, but the waffle was terrible. First, they didn’t make it from scratch, they just warmed up what was sitting on the counter, which isn’t a big deal, but it tasted like a lump of baking soda. Impossible to eat!

Lovely place with great coffee. Ordered a cappuccino and it came out perfectly, achieving a richness I was pleasantly surprised about. The lox bagel could use another slice or two of lox. Great place to read or catch up with a friend.

Great coffee at a good price. Small and cozy with a relaxing atmosphere. I always get the Spanish latte. My date got Viet ice coffee which was made with whipped cream and cooled with block of ice. Very different from tradition. Had a great morning coffee date.
