“This place is TRULY a gem in a world of dull rocks. The owner, Chase & his beautiful fur baby, has won my heart over. I’ve only visited the location a few times since last Halloween in 2023, but each time I go, I find a truly unique piece to add to my wardrobe collection and enjoy every conversation that we’ve had. This is definitely a small business worth supporting!!! There is no store like this in town. The closest thing you’ll find would be on hate Ashbury in San Francisco so how lucky we are to have something in the San Jose area with such a unique selection of vintage pieces.. You can tell that they are thoughtfully, curated and selectively chosen with intention and love. I have attached some photos of the awesome clothing. I have found while navigating this treasure chest. Don’t be surprised at how many great pieces you can find to add to your daily capsule wardrobe.
This store is a MUST for more than just costumes - If you consider yourself a fashion forward individual, or you like to stand out in the crowd, the then this is the place for you!!
Don’t forget to check out the second story for even more awesome selections. You would never know from looking at the place on the exterior that it houses so many incredible pieces. The store has real clothing from the late 1800s, wardrobes worn by celebrities, jewelry from princesses, debutants and estate sales, and modern day designers.”
“This store contains great vintage furniture and home decor. It’s nothing like sorting through the Goodwill home goods section. As for the pricing, it’s a bit high but I can tell it’s worth it. There were several items that I would shell out $$$ for. I will return after some time to see what new pieces they have.”

“This place is one of the best thrifting areas I've ever gone to. It's a bit on the smaller side, but it's better than those big thrift stores. Prices are a bit higher, but the items are vintage. They even have changing rooms in there. I like the style of the store. You'll probably find some clothing that could fit kids too, if you search. The clothing is really stylish and it's better than one of those huge thrifting stores. Staff is kind, and patient.”

702 W Taylor St, San Jose“Good selection of clothing and friendly workers. Prices are a little high, but I'm used to non-California prices so Im not sure if it's the norm. They have days and weeks with specific discounts for all clothing or specific categories/tags, so look out for those. Also suggest joining their mailing list beforehand to get a coupon for 25% 1 item. July 26-27 is every clothing item for $3 each, so I'd suggest going then. Was annoyed one of the fitting room doors was broken, but the one I used was clean and well-kept.
Prices I noticed/bought from:
Shirts: $6-$12
Shorts: $6-$8
Pants: $8-$12
Dresses: $9-$13
Purses/bags: $15-$25”
“Crossroads remains one of the best places for thrifting, I prefer this location to the Stevens Creek one because the people working here are more friendly and less pretentious than the other location. They usually have a good selection for men and women. This is also one of the better smelling thrift shops around, I'm not sure what is going on with Black and Brown and don't get me started with Savers. To the lady that's been working here for the last 15 years props to you and your crew! This is the true crossroads being the closest to a real railroad and real savings...”
“This higher end prêt à porter clothing consignment store is absolutely packed with clothes, shoes, boots, bags, accessories for men and women for every possible occasion from beachwear to the office to fancy cocktail party. You can buy, sell and/or trade in whatsoever combination you like. The staff are very friendly but let you shop in peace for hours if you want to. It's very well located at San Carlos and South Bascom, so lots of buses go by it and it's 2 blocks east from 280 with its own large parking lot. Don't forget to have a good look through their discount/half off racks where I found some beautiful pieces. It's clean, organized and each item has a tag with all the pertinent details you need. It combines the wide variety and hidden treasures of a thrift store with the huge inventory and high quality of a department store with the hip chill busy atmosphere which only a cool local shop can offer. My favourite place to shop second only to shopping in fancy boutiques my friends own. I spent just over $100- last week and left with Ann Taylor loft capri/cargo shorts, an faux angora sweater, a Lulu lemon tailored, zippered sweat jacket and 3 beautiful summer dresses, all of expensive materials and lined, looking brand new. If you haven't scavenged through thrift stores or designer outlet stores it might feel a bit overwhelming but just give yourself 5 minutes to look through which ever rack catches your eye and you'll be happy you did!”
“I love it here there's so much care into organizing the store and creating the floor layout and curating clothes. I found exactly what I was looking for here today and the deals were soo good! Super helpful staff as well! Obsessed with the heart buttons on this gingham top!”
“I'm not much of a Sonny Angel-head myself, but Classic Loot has always been undeniably cute. I've bought countless gifts for my wife and cousins here, even some DBZ socks for the bros. Def stop by and see what's in stock.”
