UPS is a mess. Their lost package process is slow, secretive, and designed to keep the recipient in the dark. They do not investigate lost packages at all. See all the complaints on different social media platforms e.g. Reddit. Their corporate customer service and UPS Store locations operate like two disconnected companies, neither of which can actually solve problems. Most reps are poorly trained and have no more information than you do. The whole system screams incompetence and indifference — and UPS clearly makes enough money to not care about being better. It’s best to let them die out. If you value your time, money, or sanity, avoid UPS at all costs.

The UPS Store at 181 East Tasman in San Jose is definitely the best location that I have subscribed to thus far. The owners of my local UPS store focus on customer service and their staff shows this philosophy - and that makes a difference. So if you are considering a mailbox service, be aware that not all UPS stores are managed equally, and if you are in Santa Clara County I highly recommend checking The UPS Store at 181 East Tasman in San Jose.

I was very impressed with the custom service of this UPS store. In particular I want to complement Preet for his communication and flexibility. The store was open to picking up items for me from an industrial auction. They clearly laid out the options and pricing for packaging, shipping, and insurance. I wholeheartedly recommend this UPS store if you need something picked up and shipped remotely.

The team working there were really helpful and fast. Preet helped me to pick up my boxes from home and have them shipped to Canada for me. The process was very smooth, friendly, and professional.

Great experience at this UPS Store. Called up to compare prices versus FedEx and not only were the prices better the service was exceptional. Such a friendly location, quick service and quality product!!

I got lead to use the computer in store just to send them a photo for print, and they never tell you it charges even just sending an email for less then a minute, and I got charged $5!!!!! If I got told ahead, I could just send with my phone with no cost. Feel scammed!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
