My homeowner's insurance company sent Terry from Universal Restoration to restore a credenza that was scratched when a tree branch came through my living room window. He did an amazing job, and was prompt, courteous, and professional in every way. My credenza looks like new. I would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone needing furniture repair/restoration.

I was put in touch with Terry at Universal Restoration as a result of damage to furniture during a cross country move. Terry responded quickly, came to my home to evaluate the piece and completed the repair in a very timely manner. His workmanship is excellent. I can't even tell the difference from the original work. I definitely would use his services again. Highly recommend!

My insurance claim was assigned to Universal Restoration for a day bed/w trundle repair and my experience was great!I was contacted by Universal the morning after my claim was assigned and was given an appointment for the next day between 8-10am. Terry showed up on time, was very courteous, respectful of my home and was able to complete the repair. I appreciate that Terry went above and beyond - he made the repair but also completely assembled the bed frame and asked me where in the room I wanted the bed placed.If you're on the fence about Universal Restoration due to the old (old) negative reviews please please give them a chance. I highly recommend!

My husband and I were assigned Universal Restoration by the company who coordinated our move from Nashville to San Jose. During the move, damage was done to our like-new Restoration Hardware platform bed and dresser. I was very skeptical after reading other reviews of this company and didn’t think Universal Restoration was of the right caliber to repair these items. However, we weren’t given a choice by company paying for repairs, so reluctantly, we went along with it. I couldn’t be more happy that we did. The two people who came to our apartment were timely, courteous and professional. They examined everything carefully and gave me a verbal plan for what they thought were the best ways to repair each issue. They then asked if it would be okay with me to perform the repairs then in the apartment (something I wanted anyways because these items are extremely heavy, and the last thing my husband and I wanted to deal with was being without our furniture for several days while they were repaired elsewhere). I don’t think it took more than 30 minutes, and they had finished. They then asked me to look everything over to see if I was happy with the results. I couldn’t believe their work. They made our furniture look new again, and I am extremely picky. Would definitely recommend.
