My son attended This school years 99-2001. He was under the care of of Dr Brown a special Ed teacher. My son was molested everyday by a pedophile that would wait at the gate at lunch time and take 2 of them in the bathroom and lock the door from the inside and rape them. I received no help from anyone - even the police. My son was also taken in the bathroom by the other kid involved while under the care of YMCA after school care. The bathroom all happened in was by the gate which was open all the time by YMCA portable. I went on the campus one day out of anger and being told it didn't happen but my son finally told me and he didn't have control of his bowels. I saw a janitor and asked how the door could be locked from inside- little hole on inside of push door- look next time.he told my son he would kill his family- my son has aspergers and still refuses to talk about it. The janitor was on Megan's law- if there are any other victims please reach out to me on here- I trusted my son under the care of this school -I fought the school district and won to get him out of there to a private school under the pretence I dropped the molestation issue. Do Not Put Your Children in This School

When my daughters entered this huge school (almost 1,000 students) I was a little worried about their achievement in school with so many students. But not anymore!!! They are learning a lot. Their bilingual program is incredible and it is a school with the arts that my daughters love. Why pay for a private school, when there are quality public schools!!!!

When we moved to the Rose Garden neighborhood and looked into the local elementary school, I admit that I was a little underwhelmed by the prospect of my kids going to Trace. I had heard that a lot of people in the area choose to send their kids to private school instead. But I am a firm believer in public education, and I am happy that I chose to stick with Trace. My daughters are both participating in the the TWBI (two-way bilingual immersion) program, and their Spanish skills are now very impressive. And, by the way, their English is not suffering for it. We have an active community of parents and teachers; we hope you'll join us!

Seems to be well funded and staffed but the front office is a little bit combative and unfriendly at first. Seems to be getting better, so we'll see!

We love Trace, our teachers and our Trace parent and kid friend community! At what other public school could your child learn in Spanish - and become truly bilingual - and at the same time benefit from a unique visual and performing arts program? From 3rd grade onward the kids get a chance to participate in up to 3 (!) after/before school arts electives. (Choices=strings orchestra, band, choir and drama.) Laughing all the way to the bank at neighbors carting kids to private schools miles away...

OMG! Worst mistake choice of school. I can't go into details but please note that this school is very racist and the staff!! OMG!!!....I leave it at that. Can't wait to see this school year comes to an end. Just too hard now to move the kid to another school because of capacity impact. For sure I'll get my child out of here with great joy. Why did I even move this kid from a well decent and reputable school? I always ask myself. But oh I remember, it was the distance to and fro that school. I'm not praying for it but I do smell a fat law suit coming down for this school and that's when someone will go back and refer to this review and say, some guy wrote a prophesy that this school will someday face this kinda suit in his review. Let's just sit back and watch, I'm not kidding. Light is about to shine on the dark side.

My child has been here for two years now, and they are learning a lot. And if they don't know what they have to know, they help them to learn more.
