“I love this charming bookstore for kids with quality books of all kinds. They even have famous author’s come for a talk and signing which has been fun for our family to do.
My only complaint was that I bought a book for my child and when I asked if I could return or exchange if it was not the correct book and they said I could. When I came back the next week with my son to exchange it, they were out of all the books he wanted. I figured I would just get a refund since I had the receipt and the book was in perfect condition. The cashier said I could only do store credit. I don’t live close so we ended up buying some junky toys we didn’t need with the credit.
It’s a beautiful store that is very well taken care of by people that clearly put a lot of love and care into organizing and buying for the store.”
“Great selection and friendly staff! Most of the blind boxes and “trinkets” are kept at the back register which makes sense and I’ve never had to wait more than a few moments for an employee to be available to grab something for me”
“I understand that this store is closing down in January. We went in to look for Beatles items but were unsuccessful. Great store with a huge variety. Although the air conditioning was broken and the temporary cooling boxes weren't keeping the air at a comfortable temperature.”
“Was in Japantown San Jose recently and checked out Zonkey at the corner of Jackson St and 4th. The store can be easy to miss but look for a Zonkey A-Frame on the sidewalk in front of the entrance. It's a small shop but packed with a lot of great items. There's a whole shelf filled with popular blind boxes and some nostalgic Garbage Pail Kids toys. They also sell a lot of vinyl stickers, keychains, and prints, some anime too. There was this really cool 3D Attack of Titan 12x18 print that we picked up. Their prices were on par with other comic book stores that sell these items. For the amount of space available, they really did a good job organizing and displaying everything. The anime books were on the bottom shelves with other goods on top. There are quite a few Hello Kitty items as well. Some of their custom printed T-shirts were really cool but unfortunately no youth sizes available. Service was good. The employee was helpful when we were asking about different T-shirts and blind boxes.”

“Our first time experience was The best!
What an amazing experience for my daughter's first time building a bear for her birthday.
The staff were kind and helpful.
we had no trouble finding the perfect bear and all of its accessories.
The store was clean, well-organized, with a wide selection of clothes and accessories. The pre-dressed bears were so cute and made the whole experience even more fun.
We especially want to give a huge thank you to our friend maker Rowan.
Rowan was so patient and had such great energy. Rowan truly made my daughter's birthday extra special.
Rowan, you deserve a raise!
Thank you again for your kindness.
We'll definitely be coming back to this location. ?”
“Absolutely LOVE this place. I was at Goodwill next door and found this gem by accident. As an 80s kid who refuses to let go, this place lit a fire in my retro soul. Lots of vintage toy stores seem to be geared more around boys toys but they had lots of vintage Barbies, My Little Pony, Raggedy Anne & Andy, plus lots of unisex toys! There are rows of well-organized items, some very unique things! As a huge MJ fan, I appreciated that they had some of his memorabilia. They had so many Garbage Pail Kids cards, too! I always have a hard time finding them but not here! I'm not a Stars Wars fan but I can say they had a huge selection. So many things here unlocked memories for me and had me feeling like a kid again. I had to go meet my family so my time was limited but I definitely plan to go back again soon! Definitely give this place a visit!”
“First I would like to say that I never write reviews and this is my first one ever but I just had to write one for the sweetest girl ever. Valerie the sweetest employee ever was the only one working the store when I got there. She had 2 people to pierce, multiple phone calls, multiple customers coming up asking questions, and so much more to deal with all by herself. She did all this with the sweetest smile and an amazing attitude. I was planning to get a piercing there and even though she had 2 other people in front of me she was so helpful, never ignored me and kept checking in on me the whole time. She took her time explaining the pricing, metals and even providing me with her own personal experience. When it got to the actual piercing it was so quick and painless. She even offered to do 2 piercings and of course I couldn’t say no! She made the entire experience so incredibly comfortable, had amazing conversations with me and allowed me to make adjustments to the piercing. Overall one of the best customer experiences I have ever had. Thank you Valerie!! ”
“Kind owner and service, best that you buy in bulk, you may get some discount or free cars, one stop for die cast 1:64, 1:18 and pink slips. Mainline $5 , Premium $20 , it is higher than supermarket pricing but collection here is not available elsewhere. Well maintained store. Mostly you'll find actual car replicas rather than made for hot wheels design. If you like hot wheels car collections, it is a great place to visit and you can't leave without buying anything”
“What's not to love about Daiso? Most everything is $1.50 and for that price there are some GREAT bargains to be found. I got really cute short pink oven mitts from here that I have gotten a lot of compliments for. Some cool things you'll find here for $1.50.”
“This place’s got some friendly staff! My phone died and wasn’t able to start my car (bane of phone keys in this modern age), and the guy over there charged it up for me. Saved my life and my frozen grocery. 100”

“If I did work and have a fair amount of money, I would continue shopping here. I'm very close by to come browse Pokémon cards. Instead of taking care and dating a female that I want, I use my money to buy their cards. I do not need to get a good card each time I go there, I happen like to collect a lot of bulk ones for my collection. A lot of customers especially from the offerup app say it's expensive here but I can hang on to the price and afford them. It is way better to get the cards and pck I need than having it shipped from websites like Pokémon center. Mostly cards from offerup could be stolen Pokémon cards. A few white American males are nice to communicate with. They even recognize my name each time I come in. :) . I'm pretty shock the employees do have value for me. I use to not bond with white Americans well enough but it takes effort to socialize within the white American community. I'm Vietnamese American and barely speak English at home.”
“Our water in Santa Clara contains substantial ground water which frequently doesn't taste that great so we've been buying five gallon bottles of drinking water for nearly thirty years. I discovered Jenny's recently and couldn't be happier, you buy a twenty five dollar card and it costs 25 cents per gallon, better than most dispensary machines. I wish I knew about the store when we hosted birthday parties for our children it's filled with all sorts of five and dime items and lots of things young children might want. Certainly worth taking a quick look, wish I had done it sooner.”
“This is a great addition to the stores at Valley Fair Mall. I have a 9 year old and I myself a 9 year old trapped in a 40yo body. Stores like this really help break things up among all the boring clothes, jewelry and shoes. It helps fill the void of stores like KB Toy stores from the 80s/90s.I would say most of their toys lean more towards Japanese Anime such as Naruto, Dragonball, Transformers etc.Pricing is fair. You can probably get it online for $, but you'd have to wait and can not guarantee authenticity. Because of online competition, they have all sales as final. The service and people working here were very friendly and you can tell were happy to work in the store and help customers.”
“Amazing place. Sells at market price and sells a lot of good stuffs. Staffs are super friendly and amazing with customer service. Would always come back for more cards.”
